LOVE best running top ever This is by far my favorite running top. I want all the colors. I love the fit and feel. I am 5'3", 110 and got this in a 4 to be a little looser?it is perfect. November 21, 2014
Thicker Fabric, No Longer Lightweight I was so excited when I saw the two new colors released this week and picked up the Ruby Stripe Tonal Heathered Ultra Violet. I bought it in size 8 for a slightly looser fit than the 6 gives me. I wore it to my workout that evening and felt that the material definitely felt heavier than the Tonka Stripe Heathered Black or any of the other Run swiftly shirts I have. This has never happened to me before, but I actually kept noticing the shirt as I worked out! It felt heavy. Not only was it disappointingly thicker material, I felt as if the shirt was loosening up as I worked out. It wasn't even a workout that had me moving around alot (deadlifts and step ups onto a box). I came home and compared it to the Tonka Stripe Heathered Black. Both are size 8 and have the silverescent "powered by X-static." The Ultra Violet shirt was at least 1 inch wider! That's a whole shirt size larger. Just within minutes of my workout, I felt like the shirt was stretching out...definitely an inferior material...a little like wearing a thickly woven, but cheaply made sweater that will stretch out during the day. I love the run swiftly tanks, the crews, the scoop necks, and in the past the long sleeved shirts. But with the newer thickness, it is no longer the lightweight shirt lulu describes it as. The prior weight of the shirt was perfect for layering and wearing for a little more coverage in the cooler/colder months without adding too much heat since most people heat up as they exercise. If it wasn't an inch bigger than my other size 8, I could still probably find some use for the shirt. But now I have a $68 shirt that will sit in the closet. Please go back to the previous lightweight material!! And please consider changing your return policy. Reputable companies with quality merchandise aren't afraid to have generous return policies; that's how they stand behind their products. November 20, 2014
Too bad about the tight arms These would be great running tops, except for me, the lower arms are simply too tight. I have normal-sized arms; I don't lift weights or do crossfit, yoga, or other arm-enlarging workouts, and often when people complain about tight arms in LLL products (especially sweaters), I'm fine with the arms. But not these. As I run, I like to push my sleeves up as I warm up, and these are SO tight that they won't move up more than an inch, if that. So alas, this top isn't functional for its designed purpose, for me, and the two I own will be my last, unless there's a product redesign that loosens the arms. If you have really thin arms, or, if you don't ever push your sleeves up, they might work better for you. November 19, 2014
Comfy but not durable I absolutely love the fit and feel of this shirt....great for chilly runs or casual wear. The major bummer is they are so easily snagged. I currently have 3 that have snags after 1 wear. I had asked a store GEC on any suggestion on the snags and she told me to cut them.....so now instead of snags I have small holes like pantyhose runners.....:-( For $70 these should not snag after one casual wear. Best Running Shirt I am 15, 5'7" and 130 lbs. I love this shirt. It was one of my many Lulu purchases. Today, I wore it under a Swix jacket for a run in the 27 degree weather with a head wind. I forgot gloves and since the sleeves are long they made perfect mittens. It stays dry, as promised. I have worn it by itself for weather that is slightly warmer (37 degrees) and been warm. Perfect for my mid-october half marathon. It even wicked away the rain!!! Can't wait to get another one for nordic ski season. November 18, 2014
Great top This was my first Lulu purchase ever. It seemed the most fuctional - yoga, running, and well, I wore this shirt to my office today with slacks and heels. It is AMAZING. Super warm and soft and the arms are long enough for me. I will be buying more colors. Sizing - this runs small, guys. It does. I am 5'10, 150lbs - a 34B/C up top and wear a size 8 lowrise jeans - so a 6 true waist. The 10 fits perfectly. I did not want mine super tight. If you do, then maybe an 8 would be right for you. Best running shirt for cold weather! I have an older Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve, but with the original neckline. I loved running in it but longed for a wider neckline for breathability. YAY for this long sleeve crew! I sized up so that it would fit looser and I love it! These are perfect for cold weather runs. The sleeve length is perfect and with the addition of the thumbholes, I don't have to wear running gloves. These also make for the perfect layer underneath a running jacket, vest, or pullover. Not quality Wore my shirt once and somehow there is a hole in it? Did not do anything where there could be a hole in it. Wondering if i bought a shirt with a hole. November 9, 2014
ripped after one workout Wanted to love this but I wore it to ONE workout and the fabric tore every so slightly and now its ruined. You would think that clothes made for workout would be able to endure at least one workout... November 6, 2014
My favorite LS shirt I am compelled to leave a review for swiftly LS. I have four of them black (grey color) from 3 years ago, angle blue, tie dye, and rust berry purchased recently. I wear them everywhere, as to/from the gym and casual wears. They are lightweight yet warm and so comfortable. There has not been any snag on any of my shirts yet - knock on wood. I don't particularly baby them but I don't have pets and do put them in a laundry bag while washing. I love the rust berry shirt since the end of the sleeves are not as tight as the other three. Perhaps it is recently improved? I did notice that the quality of swiftly went downhill about 1-2 years ago. I purchased a swiftly and had to return it due to existing snags on the shirt. I hope Lulu keeps up the quality of the swiftly since it is such an awesome product. I hope to see more saturated colors not just heathered ones. November 1, 2014
