love this top I LOVE this top and have it in blue and a light purplish/heathered grey! I Also have the clip-in tank which is similar and ties but i like that this slit is higher up in back so it will show a cute bra top. (i prefer the shape at the shoulders of the clip-in a bit better though) I am not a fan of fitted tops that make me feel like a sausage, (as i am short in the torso with a booty) so this is a great alternative since i can make it loose in front (even when tied), but still show my shape in back please, make it in black and white! Love the loose style and fabric. I usually take a 6 or 8 in most tops. And because I have a tummy, I usually go for tops that are loose fitting and so I took a size 8 in this top so that it wouldn't be tight. I'm 130 lbs. Besides being loose, I fell in love with the vitasea fabric. It is a bit thicker than the 105 Singlets and for that reason alone, I purchased the blue and white one. Please make more tops using the vitasea material and more looser fitting tops. June 24, 2015
Perfect for Pregnancy :) Super cute with the open back! I am currently 6 months pregnant and ordered my original size 6 as this top is loose. I like that I can size the back to fit my growing belly. I love the high neckline because I can continue to be active without the worry of my breast flashing everyone during workouts! I am 5'4, pregnant, & approx 145 lbs and a size 6 is perfect for me. :) June 21, 2015
Cute! I think this shirt is so cute! Super soft and true to size. I just wish the neckline wasn't as constricting... Even if it had a higher scoop neck it would be more comfortable. But nevertheless I would buy more in different colors! June 21, 2015
Super cute, comfy and versatile I went into my store to return a few things ordered online, and decided to try on some new things while I was there. I already ordered the Spring Break Away Shorts in confetti dot online, but tried them on in store because they haven't arrived yet and I couldn't wait. I was having trouble finding a top to match and so I checked a lulu blog to see how they styled it, and it looked super cute with this top in purple (turns out the store mannequin had the same style too). I was a bit hesitant to buy this top bc it is a little different, but one of the educators was wearing it and it looked great. It is comfortable, can be worn several different ways, and I ended up tearing off the tags and putting it on as soon as I got home. I think most of the reviews must be for an old style here, because mine did not get wrinkly - even when I untied it later, the fabric still seemed smooth and unwrinkled where it had been knotted. It also seemed to fit TTS - I am 5'4 111 and the 4 fits great - because you can tie it, you can make it tighter or looser depending on yout preference. June 19, 2015
Not fit for use Unless you want to look like the old dish rag you find at the back of the cabinet under your sink, don't buy this shirt. First of all, I am a huge fan of Lululemon and love their new trend of dual use clothing that I can wear out to a restaurant and also wear to yoga or hiking. That being said, I'm not sure what they were thinking with the fabric of this shirt. I wore it yesterday to go hiking and had to take it off after the drive to the trailhead because it was already too wrinkled from just sitting in the car for 30 minutes to look decent. I thought maybe I was just crazy- the reviews for this shirt are relatively good, but it appears that Lulu reissued this shirt with a different fabric (thereby completely changing the integrity of the shirt) and kept the same reviews. Deceptive? I think so Additionally, the shirt is not fit for its intended use because of sizing. As many of the reviewers (on the new reissue) have warned, you need to size down unless you want to look like Mother Ginger- the top is very loose in your standard size. However, when you size down, you will most likely find that you can no longer actually tie the back of the shirt together, which is the whole point of the shirt. But that's fine because the minute you attempt to tie the shirt together, you will wrinkle the shirt beyond measure and be forced to remain tied back until you rewash and heavily starch the shirt, then douse it with Downey Wrinkle Releaser after you get out of the car so you don't look like that old rag. The final issue is that the neck opening is too small. I had to shove my head through the top to get it through (I must be really smart if my head is that big) which wrinkled the area surrounding the neck and warranted an additional spray with Downey Wrinkle Releaser, Don't buy this shirt- Mother Ginger/ old rag is not a flattering style. This shirt has all the bad qualities of linen without any of the good ones and now I've got a new $58 dish towel to clean the floors with. And shame on Lulu for deceptively reissuing this with the old reviews! June 15, 2015
Conflicted/Odd Fit I loved the look of this online, but after reading so many various reviews I figured I should try it on in a store. First of all, the blue color is really nice. The draping in the back is so beautiful and at 5'6" the size 4 hit perfecting at my hip line. BUT....the front neckline didn't lay flat on my chest and neckline, but bunched up and looked odd and unflattering. For reference, I'm small on top, barely a 34B - and I was told by the store personnel that it seems to fit in the chest area better on a more "bosomy" body type. Too bad, because I would've bought it otherwise. I absolutely loved the open back. So heads up, booby girls, this might work for you. June 13, 2015
Old Reviews. Not the same. Total bummer. The reviews listed on here from 2014 are not for this "tencel" top. This updated version of the All Tied Up Tank is nothing near as great as the original version. I am so bummed!! I really loved the old version. I don't understand why LuLu doesn't just bring it back?! Why change it and make it worse?? I don't like the material. Even the cut is a bit different. LuLu! Please bring back the original version! Some summer colors would be nice too! Green, perhaps?! Please! June 11, 2015
I had such high hopes... I ordered this top a size down per reviews and in white, I am 5'11" 150(ish) for reference. I already own the clip in tank and cotton style that are more for working out. When it arrived, I was super excited. The white fabric is beautiful. This was not purchased to work out in, and I feel that this fabric supports this notion. I tried it on to find that it was too short on my torso to wear open and flared a bit adding volume I am not interested in. The fabric has NO stretch so tying it back didn't seem like an option. I returned to the store to try a 10, it was huge and still didn't tie. The (very helpful) girls there stated that most girls have opted to wear it open and didn't mess with tying it. The long and short of it...The fabric and colors are glorious! Tying it back was not an option like the stretchier fabrics offer, and it was shorter than a tall torso person may like. I still LOVE the concept, but this one was a pass. June 7, 2015
Tied Up Tank Saw a similar look for cycling last winter and wished Ihad at purchased. The open back with the tie up option was the key ingredient. The ones last winter were more fitted on top in a flattering way. If the top is going to swing at the bottom and be long (which I wanted) It needs to be more fitted at top so it does not look like a tent. I purchased the blue in the store yesterday in the size 4 (I run between a 2 and 4 on top in Lulu) ..there was no 2 option. I tried the white in a 6 in the store and did not see much of a difference. The blue fabric is pretty, looks like street clothing with the promise of Lulu comfort. I planned on using this for cycling. I like the idea of hanging over my bum when I stop and then tying it up while riding. As soon as I arrived home with my new Lulu top, it was wrinkled! It wrinkled in the bag on it's way home from the Lulu store! It is not flattering all wrinkled and if I tie it up, it will be all wrinkled when I stop and untie it. I thought the fabric's appearance would make this a great piece that would wear well from work out, cycling and everything in-between. I am second guessing this big time! I already took the tags off, but am not happy with this situation. The blue has a sheen to it, which makes it very pretty, and visually interesting but NOT with wrinkles. I am really torn about this top. I wanted it to work, and there were not many items that had an easy drape that did not look like the workout tank that they are. June 6, 2015
