Boogie Short *Full-On Luon
Too Short For Me!
I will preface this review by saying that I LOVE short shorts. I lift 5-6 times per week and am always on the lookout for new yoga and/or compression shorts. I am new to Lulu, and when I found the Boogie Shorts, I thought I had scored the jackpot. When I tried the shorts on, I thought they looked/felt fine. When I wore them to the gym for a lift, however, things started going wrong very quickly. These shorts ride up so much, it's insane! I thought that, with them being so short, I could avoid this issue. My UA and Nike shorts ride up too, but they're a touch longer (2"-3" inseams), and I always figured that it was my beefy muscular quads causing them to ride up. With the boogie shorts, the riding up is more of a problem because the shorts are so much tinier. I wore these for an upper-body lifting day (so no squats, deadlifts, etc in them), and they had wedged themselves up my butt crack within 5 minutes. I'm not even one to generally care if people see me fixing my shorts or picking a wedgie in the gym (they can mind their own business), but I was adjusting these shorts so often that it was distracting me from lifting. I can't even imagine trying to do legs day in these shorts. It would drive me batty.
I haven't decided what to do with my shorts yet. I might take them in and exchange them for store credit, as I won't be getting much use out of them. If I keep them, it will be to wear around the house and such--but these were way too expensive for a pair of house shorts.
Lulu, I think these need to be about an inch longer. I like my shorts to be short, but not quite this short (the Groove shorts are too long... something in between would be nice). Also, if the shorts are going to be this short, then please make a size 12! I wear an 8 in Wunder Unders (my legs/butt are more like a 10, but I have to wear an 8 because of my waist), and I sized up to a 10 in Boogie Shorts, but they are still too small! Please leave a little more room for the booty!

Great short, until you wear them frequently
I have 2 pairs of these shorts, I loved the fit and how they looked. I wore them often but they started pilling really bad so now I hardly wear them because the pilling is so bad

these shorts are the best thing i have ever purchased. usually when i buy shorter shorts they always ride up (under armor, Nike, Missouri) but these .. these don't at ALL. in these shorts you don't have to worry about pulling them down, or checking to make sure your butt isn't hanging out. they are perfect. nice, soft and comfortable. perfect for yoga, the gym and nice walks with your dog.
worth the price girls!

best shorts since sliced bread
I love love love my shorts. Yes some may say that they're too short, but for me, they're just the right length. They don't ride up and the hem doesn't flip or anything. Another plus is that they are completely opaque. But some advice would be to wear some underwear that wont give you panty lines. You can't see the actual underwear, but the lines will show.

these are indeed shorts
Well, these shorts are certainly short, but not so much that anything's exposed. They do ride up somewhat, but the hem doesn't roll up on me, and they're (fortunately) not sheer.
However, the waistband is starting to pill quite a bit on the inside where the fabric is rubbing against my skin. It's not enough to be annoying, but I am rather worried that they'll start to pill on the oustide as well. Still, I'd purchase them again if any solid black ones with quilted waistbands popped up, but Lululemon seems to have discontinued those months back - a shame, as I don't really like the patterned boogie shorts.

Super cute pattern, fits true to size, but they are snug fitting (but not uncomfortable). Medium rise, which I'm usually not a fan of, but on these shorts it works, and the higher rise helps to flatten your stomach. The most annoying thing, is that I paid $48 for these shorts in the store, and they are only $42 online. WHY????? If you can order them online and get free shipping, you'll save $6 and a trip to the store!

Coverage, comfort, and cute!
I bought my first pair of boogie shorts the other day and I am LIVING in them! They are so comfortable and breathable. They do ride up a bit when I do jumps squats and lunges, but overall they have great coverage. Well worth it!

Passed the Uttanasana Test!
When I saw these in the shop, I thought that they were totally cute but just too tiny to be wearable/useful in my yoga classes. I've never been so pleased to be proved wrong! The sweet floral print overriding my better judgement, I tried these bad boys on and fell in LOVE. They're so cute! And, moreover, they fit great, don't look quite so tiny on, and they stick to you like green on kale! My ultimate test for yoga bottoms is the "Uttanasana Test", where I make sure the only thing forward folding is me- not my clothes! Passed the test with flying colors, for all their teeny-tinyness and light pastel colors! Cannot recommend these enough! Hot yoga, beach wandering, lazy day baking staple!

I love these shorts! They're perfect for dance! I can't wait to wear them more! My only complaint is that when I went to buy them I looked at the 2's and didn't look at the tag, when I got home I realized it was a 4, they fit pretty well but i might exchange them for the smaller size. Otherwise it's a amazing product and I highly recommend them!

Nice, but not perfect
This might just be a tight cut for me since my thighs are thick and muscular so the fabric rides up, but I love the roll down waist band and bootylicious fit!
