Loop It Up Mat Strap
Great for walking to class
This strap works really well for me. Some people say that it slips, but I haven't found that. It's a really easy way to carry my mat around with me from my car to class or from my apartment to class.

I bought this for my sister after having a previous version for myself. I thought it would be a great way for her to carry her mat around the city to and from work to studio to home.
I was wrong. The loop doesn't hole the tension and ends up unravelling the mat whenever you put it down (extremely inconvenient on the subway).
I had the No Brainer Strap that had two velcro ends and holds my mat in place both in motion and at rest. It was far superior and I don't know why they replaced it.

I was looking for an easy way to carry my mat around, and so far this is the best I have found.
I do not roll my mat, I fold it (so the dirty underside of the mat does not come in contact with the top side of the mat) & I find that bags are bulky and velcro straps are never big enough.
Since this has a sliding loop, it can fit over whatever size I fold my Jade mat into & it doesn't slide off either.

This is the first time I have been frustrated enough with a product to write a review. While I do find Lulu items overpriced, the quality is usually good enough that I end up very, very happy with the product. I have been using my "The Mat" for three years now, and absolutely love it! I have one of the older velcro straps to keep it together, and I love it. It never moves or slips. I recently purchased "The Mat 3mm" for travel and absolutely love it!! While in the store I realized I needed a strap for carrying it, and my only option was the "Loop It Up" one.
Oh my gosh, this is the most annoying and useless strap I have ever used! It absolutely does not stay on my mat and it falls off even as I'm trying to put it on the mat! It is non-functional, and I was told once it is out of the package I will not be able to return it. What an absolute waste of money! I absolutely do not recommend buying this mat strap (but I do absolutely recommend all of their mats!!).

normally I am not used to writing reviews either positive or negative but after using this product I could not hold it inside. worst product I've ever bought and it drives me insane whenever I am using it. As I live overseas, I ordered this to a friend who was visiting the States a month ago, unfortunately I don't have any chance to return it back.

Slips and slides off my mat, my mother has an older version with Velcro that is way better, it stays on, easy to do up and no slip/slide. Wish lululemon would bring those back

Great strap, learned my lesson
I, admittedly, think a lot of Lulu merchandise is overpriced. Initially, this strap was one of those items. I bought this strap, and thought it was heavy-duty, had a nice smooth feel, and carried my thick mat well. But, being a cheapskate, I saw a similar strap at half the price of "The Loop it Up" on a different website and purchased it with the intention of returning the Lulu strap.
When the other strap arrived......... I was sorely disappointed. It was of a laughable low quality. And the worst part, it would cost almost the price of the item to ship it back for a refund.
So, in closing, this strap is definitely worth the price, and functional to boot. I learned my lesson Lulu, I won't stray again :)

I use this with the 'pure mat' and it always comes loose and slides off the end of my mat. Very frustrating!

The Anti-Zen Strap
This strap is maddening, and frustration with it undoes all the good calming effects of a yoga session. I have a pea green "The Mat," and mine is quite stiff after a year (my husband's black one, six months or so older, is much floppier). This strap will not keep the mat rolled up. Whether standing vertically or lying horizontally, when not being carried, the mat comes undone from the strap. The loops simply don't cinch and stay in place.

Very functional, although expensive.
Helps me carry 'the mat' with ease. Expensive for what it is though! I like that it can be used as a stretching strap also.
