why we made this
We designed this tee to be a light layer to get us to and through class when we want more coverage than a tank. The slim fit and long length help stop this top from riding up - perfect for a light practice followed by a latte with friends.

For my part, I'm 5''2 108 lbs and I simply love those t-shirts. It's very flattering without being too tight.

Fabric and design needs improvement
I bought this top to wear as an everyday layering piece. I wear Lulu Lemon all the time- I am a fitness instructor. However, I wore this top for the first time today and it is now completely shredded by the belly button area. I am very disappointed that the fabric is either defective or very delicate. I noticed the tears after about 5 hours of wearing- driving, shopping, etc...

If you are petite, forget it! This top was like a dress on me in a size 2. Lulu, this is very disappointing!!! Tops now are made so long and roomy even for size 2. Often tops are not even offered in size 2 like the long sleeve manifesto. I get you can hem anything but that should not be the only option for how so many thing are made now. Have you forgotten how many petite ladies shop in your stores???Really disappointed!!!

I have been searching for a nice white shirt and was thrilled when I found this one. I didn't try it on in the store so did realize how sheer it is until after I was home and ripped the tags off. I still love it, but will always have to wear a full tank under. The neckline is perfect, doesn't gape when I bend over. The arms are a nice length and the overall length of the shirt is perfect. It's a little snug in the middle but I am post baby so I won't judge the shirt too harshly. I am 5'10", 150ish.

So when I tried this shirt on in the store I was really excited because it's hard for me to find shirts that fit correctly. I'm broad shouldered, tall, and just really picky with fits. I put this on and it fit wonderfully, felt great, I didn't want to take it off.
Then I wear it around work for one day and it starts to pill in the armpit area. I am really disappointed considering how much I spent on the shirt.
I want to continue loving it, I really do but the quality just isn't up to the standard I expect from Lululemon and this makes me sad. :(

This fits big!
Nice t-shirt. Comfortable. The sleeves a flattering length, not too short. However, it fits really big in the waist area. I'm 5'1, 110 lbs. I went down a size, and bought a size 2. It fits well, but is definitely still roomy in the stomach area.

I got this in store in a white with a blue stripe. It is perfect for summer! I got a size 4 and I am 5'3" 117lbs, 32A, 24" waist, 37" hips. It fits not skin tight but not loose either. If it was $48 instead of $58, I would probably buy 2-3 of them but at $58, I think 1 is enough.

Not really happy with these shirts.Bought two at the same time and definetly not impressed. Wore the heat heathered black today for the first time and while t looks great at my bust and stomache area it as stretched out majorly at the hips/legs/butt areas. Only have been wearing t for a few hours. Tags are off and I'm soooo not happy with paying $60 for a shirt tat stretched out at first wear

An a-line cut that doesn't work across body types
There being so many colorways available in this style, it gets hard to avoid online or in stores - I've tried ~7. (My local store got a white/blue pinstripe, white/beige stripe, and lavender/pink that aren't even on the site yet...)
I adore Vitasea, though LLL's been making it thinner the past 2yrs. Vitasea tees are no longer sturdy enough that I'd be willing to risk wearing in any kind of 'activity'. Sitting about, to and from, sure, but not even yoga.
I wish I could make the Every Yogi work for me given the constant new color ways. Unfortunately for me (34C, 24" waist), I'm built in the top like the model wearing the black, and waist like the model in the white. So it's fitted on the chest and arms, but flaps about in the waist on me. (IMHO it looks the most right in the pic for the black one.) It's as if I'm in a little boy's shirt that doesn't accommodate for the existence of a chest and that expects a straight body shape with no waist.
This is typical for me because the LLL size chart expects a bit of an pear shape, and clearly from other highly-positive reviews your mileage may vary very widely from mine.
I'd love for LLL to bring back the Lively Crewneck Tee of 2012 - it was cut for my shape, had shorter, more flattering sleeves (I dislike the sleeve length on the every Yogi), and had a more resilient version of Vitasea that didn't feel tissue-thin like this one.

One Word... BEAUTIFUL
This is my first time ever writing a review but this shirt is worth it! It is so soft and is so flattering. I am 5'7" 140Lbs and I got the size 8 which fits really nicely in the chest but isn't skin tight in the belly which is a good thing because I recently had a baby. I have a long torso and it falls to about the middle of my bum. I got the heathered black and it is not sheer at all. I washed it on gentle cold water and dried flat and looks exactly the same as when I first bought it.
