Bad quality I love swiftly tech material. I have some tanks and tshirts but the long sleeves. I bought it when I was on vacation and worn once and found a small whole on my sleeve. So disappointed... December 15, 2014
Love the fit and look, but poor quality I fell in love with this when I found it online, so I was so excited when I was able to find the color I liked in my size in a store. It fits like a glove, looks great, and seems like it would function well for my long runs outside. I bought it immediately! However, I took it out of the bag today and put it on to go on my run and found that there was a HUGE hole in the fabric on the sleeve! This wasn't even the exact shirt I had tried on in store (I had grabbed a different color in my size before buying) so this is the first time it was tried on at all. I'm not sure I'll be getting this one again, because the fabric quality is obviously cheap and not made to last long. I was definitely expecting more from a $70 shirt, lululemon!!! December 5, 2014
Rugby swiftly I have to say I LOVE the new rugby swiftly!! They are a bit thicker than the normal swiftly which is good for my cold Colorado weather. I often have problem with riding up while running but rugby one stays where it should be so I never had to pull down during my 10mile run. I love it so much I wanted to get another color but it got sold out unfortunately. Please make more pretty colors!! December 4, 2014
New, Bad, Cheap Fabric Lulu loyalists, beware: these are not the classic Swiftlys you know and love. The description seems the same, but the fabric is quite different. It's thicker and much more "plasticy" than the former fabric. Gone are the thin silver threads and in their place is a feeling of thick polyester. On the bright side, for those who complained about snags, these are more durable, but that special, soft, Swiftly fabric is gone. I haven't run-tested the new fabric, but agree with another reviewer that it doesn't seem like it would breathe and I'm not too confident that it will have the same odor controlling properties. It's just totally different from the old fabric. Lulu, you had such a wonderful product in the Swiftly. It was simple, but wonderfully functional and, for a workout t-shirt, luxurious. Please revert to the old quality! December 4, 2014
Fabric and Fit: change isn't always good I waited and waited until colors were replenished on the Run Swiftly tech shirts and wow, what a complete and utter disappointment! First of all, my favorite - the scoop neck - isn't available in new sizes or colors. So, I ordered the crew neck and it's thicker fabric, a wider fit, doesn't breathe, and is not nearly as comfortable. It also arrived with two snags on it! I normally wear a 6 in the shirt and the logo and shape of the shirt was extremely slenderizing. This new one looks boxy and unshapely. This shirt will be going back and I guess I'll sit with a gift card or store credit until I find something I like better - or Lululemon figures out that sometimes you don't need to change it when it's perfect the way it was. Different fabric on the latest colors I'm talking about the latest release - the pink and the purple striped shirts. I appreciate what you're trying to do, Lulu, and it's nice that you've listened and created a version of this shirt that seems much more durable than the versions past. But - now it's a different shirt. The fabric is different - it lacks all the ventilation of the regular swiftly fabric, and it's definitely heavier. It still feels like a nice silky top, and it probably works great for winter running, but it's not the swiftly fabric I'm used to. Although, maybe that's a blessing because it doesn't seem nearly as prone to snags. Also the shirt is cut bigger, especially in the sleeves. I usually take a 6 in this top and the sleeves, particularly the part covering my hands, were very loose. You may want to size down. For me, I like the sleeves to hug my wrists and hands, so it was a dealbreaker. However, I know many others have complained about the sleeves being too tight, so it may work out for those folks. I wish I could test it out for running to see if it would be sufficiently breathable, but I didn't want to take the risk in case it didn't work. Maybe someone else can post :) November 23, 2014
LOVE best running top ever This is by far my favorite running top. I want all the colors. I love the fit and feel. I am 5'3", 110 and got this in a 4 to be a little looser?it is perfect. November 21, 2014
Thicker Fabric, No Longer Lightweight I was so excited when I saw the two new colors released this week and picked up the Ruby Stripe Tonal Heathered Ultra Violet. I bought it in size 8 for a slightly looser fit than the 6 gives me. I wore it to my workout that evening and felt that the material definitely felt heavier than the Tonka Stripe Heathered Black or any of the other Run swiftly shirts I have. This has never happened to me before, but I actually kept noticing the shirt as I worked out! It felt heavy. Not only was it disappointingly thicker material, I felt as if the shirt was loosening up as I worked out. It wasn't even a workout that had me moving around alot (deadlifts and step ups onto a box). I came home and compared it to the Tonka Stripe Heathered Black. Both are size 8 and have the silverescent "powered by X-static." The Ultra Violet shirt was at least 1 inch wider! That's a whole shirt size larger. Just within minutes of my workout, I felt like the shirt was stretching out...definitely an inferior material...a little like wearing a thickly woven, but cheaply made sweater that will stretch out during the day. I love the run swiftly tanks, the crews, the scoop necks, and in the past the long sleeved shirts. But with the newer thickness, it is no longer the lightweight shirt lulu describes it as. The prior weight of the shirt was perfect for layering and wearing for a little more coverage in the cooler/colder months without adding too much heat since most people heat up as they exercise. If it wasn't an inch bigger than my other size 8, I could still probably find some use for the shirt. But now I have a $68 shirt that will sit in the closet. Please go back to the previous lightweight material!! And please consider changing your return policy. Reputable companies with quality merchandise aren't afraid to have generous return policies; that's how they stand behind their products. November 20, 2014
Too bad about the tight arms These would be great running tops, except for me, the lower arms are simply too tight. I have normal-sized arms; I don't lift weights or do crossfit, yoga, or other arm-enlarging workouts, and often when people complain about tight arms in LLL products (especially sweaters), I'm fine with the arms. But not these. As I run, I like to push my sleeves up as I warm up, and these are SO tight that they won't move up more than an inch, if that. So alas, this top isn't functional for its designed purpose, for me, and the two I own will be my last, unless there's a product redesign that loosens the arms. If you have really thin arms, or, if you don't ever push your sleeves up, they might work better for you. November 19, 2014
Comfy but not durable I absolutely love the fit and feel of this shirt....great for chilly runs or casual wear. The major bummer is they are so easily snagged. I currently have 3 that have snags after 1 wear. I had asked a store GEC on any suggestion on the snags and she told me to cut them.....so now instead of snags I have small holes like pantyhose runners.....:-( For $70 these should not snag after one casual wear.
