Lab City Pullover
loving this chic top
I really liked the architectural design at the shoulders, but wasn't sure whether it would look good on me. Went to the store today and tried it on. It looks great, I think. Got it in grey (size 6, 5'3", ~125lbs), and they're on sale at the store!!! Very happy about the purchase.

I'm running in this top
This is very cute. I'm 5'11" and weigh 150lbs. I bought the size 10 and it might be a bit big, but I would sooner error on the big side.
The descriptions don't say anything about running in this top, but why not? I am. When it's cold in the Midwest, it is nice to have a heavier top. This is not the type of top that I would want to wear around town. I am more of a Rag & Bone girl for times like that.

really cute and comfortable. Stylish and chic, still very comfy. Love it!!!

This shirt looked so cute online. I guess if you're a model and slender with really long arms it would be cute. But on me it looked terrible. I found that the sleeves were a little bit long and the fabric bunched up along my entire arm making me look like the stay-puff marshmallow man. The puff sleeves were cute but wish they had been not so poufy on me. I loved the fabric though. Very nice and thick. Would be very warm I would imagine. But alas this shirt is going back.

Finally! A top in WAFS!
Finally! I?ve longed for eons for Lulu to use the WAFS fabric (among others) for tops. It seems like WAFS (and many other prints) shows up everywhere... tanks... jackets... bottoms... headbands... but never short-sleeved or long-sleeved tops. And finally it has! I therefore grabbed this in cadet blue, and I love it.
The fabric is soft, thick, stretchy, opaque, and very comfortable. I found it TTS, but as the description says, it's a slim fit, so if you want more room, size up. (I?m 5'10", ~165 lb, and got the 10.) I was a little concerned about the puffy-looking sleeves in the website photos (hey, I lived through the ?80s and have no desire to go back to shoulder pads, big shoulders, etc.!), but in person, the detailing there is subtle and more ruffly than puffy. The shoulders don?t stick out or look huge (otherwise this would have gone back). The neckline is fairly high, which is good as I wanted this for cool fall days. The arms are long, which is great since I?m tall. The arms AREN?T TOO TIGHT!! (Yes I?m talking to you, long-sleeved Swiftly.) On me it hits just below the top of my hip. If there?s one thing I could improve on it, it would be an extra inch or two in length, but as I said, I?m tall. I love the cadet blue, this is one of my favorite WAFSs, and this top in this color looks great with dressy black pants. Overall I felt the top was quite flattering - feminine, but not girly. Very work-appropriate for me.
Overall: THANK YOU Lulu for finally making a top in this fabric! I hope we?ll see many more short-sleeved and long-sleeved tops in WAFS, prints, etc. Lulu prints are often so beautiful. It?s a shame to restrict them to tanks, bottoms, and jackets.

I was waiting for reviews, grew impatient when none popped up for a couple days, then ordered the lab city pullover in cadet blue to see for myself. SO GLAD I DID! This top is gorgeous and comfortable. I will wear it with the yoga over skirt, skinny grooves, jeans..... The puffy sleeves aren't overdone--just enough to balance my curves and add a feminine touch. And i can pop on a jacket over the lab city pullover, and the shoulders aren't too tight. The fit is tts: i'm 5'2" 119# and got a size 6, my usual size per the Lulu size chart. The sleeves are one cuff-turn too long on me as i have very short arms but turning the cuff once works and looks great. The dilemma? Do i need the black and soot colors?

Unflattering fit! Stay away!
This might be the most disappointing shirt that lulu has come out with. The material is great but the fit is absolutely horrendous. The puffs on the sleeve look cute in the picture but look nothing like that once the shirt is on. I ordered it in a 4 thinking it was the smallest size, only to find out that size 2s were available in store. Can't wait till mine comes in so I can go return it!!!

needs a niche
nice top. stretchy material. love the shoulder details - they are a nice feminine touch. i feel this runs a bit small. i go back between two sizes for tops and bought the larger of the two sizes. only 4 stars because i'm not quite sure where i'll wear this. it's too nice for working out.....maybe for to and from or casual-wear. but sometimes wearing stretchy material for casual-wear feels kind of weird. i just need to find the right niche for this top.
