We wear these pants on our way to the studio (and in class when we forget our yoga shorts).
why we made this
We designed these pants to keep us comfortable on the way to and from the yoga studio and gave them two-way stretch and a drawcord at the hem so we can cinch up the legs and turn these pants into crops to practice in them in a pinch. The inherently-wicking Swift fabric helps us stay cool and dry.
the Swift fabric has two-way stretch to move with you as you squat and lunge
cinch the continuous drawcord at the hem to shorten the pant into a crop
the wide waistband has an elastic drawcord for comfort
stow your essentials in the deep hip pockets
go ahead, jump around! the hidden key pocket is designed to keep 'em secure
Very comfortable, but waistband bends!
The pants are super comfortable, but the waistband bends after the first wear! I'm a little disappointed to spend this amount of money on these pants to have the waistband bend and not sit right.

Perfect, comfy, loose at ankle. Took a size 6, and usually I am size 8.

comfy and practical
These pants are comfortable and extremely practical. Great to and from. They wear well, however some pilling has occurred near the waist band, not sure if this is from sweaters? But overall great pants, can't wait to buy a second pair!

I am so sad about the drop in quality! My waistband is starting to curl and not lay flat. Just like the other complaints. These pair were given as a replacement for my other pair where the stitching on the waistband was coming undone. This replacement pair felt different and fit bigger. I could tell the quality was inferior. I was hoping the waistband would not curl like the other reviews. Please go back to the OLD waistband Lulu! I have not purchased so many items over the past year due to complaints about quality decline.

I am greatly disappointed with this product! At first I loved the pants, they're comfy, have a slight stretch to them and just move really well. But that was short lived, the elastic in the waistband has started to curl and roll under. I've spent a fair amount of time fiddling with it trying to fix it and get it to lay flat but I've deemed it hopeless! For how expensive these pants I'd expect a lot better quality - this is ridiculous! I've only washed these pants once, I washed on delicate and laid flat to air dry, so there really shouldn't be an issue with the elastic!
Paying extra for "quality" seems to be a complete waste since Lulu's product is FAR from quality. I plan on only buying headbands from lulu, I will look elsewhere for my athletic attire. FYI, Nordstroms carries pants that are VERY similar to these and cheaper! At least there you get excellent service and you can make returns anytime, unlike Lulu's pathetic 30 day, tags attached and receipt required policy!

One in every color!
I absolutely LOVE the studio pant II and have to restrain myself from buying them in every color. The workmanship is high quality and the fabric is the perfect weight. I have two pairs so far and they are my go to pant for just about everything. Light-weight and comfortable, yet stylish enough to wear around town. I do not go on any trip without bringing them with me . . . I might just have to go and purchase another pair this weekend!

while these pants are seemingly fantastic, the service offered for hemming isn't. i fell in love with these pants when i saw them on the manikin (cool ankle drawstrings!), and then fell in love with them again when i saw them in the mirror- except when i looked down and realized my feet were swimming in extra pant length (i'm 5'2").
"no problem," i thought, "lulu always hems my stuff and it always looks great after!"
when i inquired about hemming, the guy working the fitting rooms said it wouldn't be a problem, except i'd lose the drawstring, which was the whole reason i wanted these pants! when i expressed my concern, fitting-room-guy said the length isn't a problem because i could just pull the draw strings and roll them up my leg. i let him demonstrate on my pair.
wearing the tight drawstring up behind my knee was uncomfortable. then they slid down again and i was walking on the hem of my pants. and they didn't look the same either way. when i told him i wasn't convinced, he suggested i send them to get hemmed and they would send the drawstring back for me so i could re-hem the pants and put in the draw string.
good thing i don't know how to sew.
it's hard for girls with short legs to find pants that fit nicely, and the hemming offered by lulu is a fantastic service that makes the high cost of pants worthwhile. i feel like there is a large percentage of people who have short legs that would love these pants but won't be able to rock the style because we won't get the drawstrings unless we find a seamstress/someone who can sew, are willing to pay more and deal with the headache. i'm now left with the familiar feeling of being short and wishing i was at least 5'6".

I have 3 pair!!!!
I imagine this is part of the dress code in heaven! I'm 5'2" and have to hem everything - so yeah I had to hem these ... no biggie. Love, love, love these.

Received my studio pants *unlined today after having friends rave about them (the older style). I was so excited to put them on and live in them!!! I am sad to say I should have listened to all the reviews and kept my money for something more worthwhile.
I made sure to measure my inseam etc to get the right size (the nearest store is 4hrs away) well these pants are WAY to big! Im 5'6" and these pants are easily 6" too long, no biggie I told myself I'll just use the drawstring....but to my surprise no drawstring came on these pants!!! Needless to say lulu will be getting these back!!!
Im so disappointed that I will think twice before ever spending my hard earned $$ here again

Ignoring some of the other reviews about the waist band, I went ahead and purchased these. I have worn them a total of one time and the waist band flappd forward, Im afraid of what washing them will do to them. The quality was not what one would expect for the price paid. Very disappointed.
