why we made this

This tank's thin racerback straps allow for open, unrestricted movement in the shoulders while the body-skimming fit is a welcome feature for those of us who have set our intention on a handstand. No need to tuck this tank in, the Power Y stays put.

love! Very flattering tank. Fits well. Love the cups (yay, no bra!). My only complaint, the online selection (and in stores) is limited. When will there be a wider selection of sizes and colours? May 12, 2012
Love! This tank is amazing for yoga! I am 4'11" and a 32C and I bought a size 4, which fits great. It is hard for me to find tops to practice in where my chest isn't falling out in the middle of class. This tank is able to provide sufficient support and I am able to breath and work up a sweat while feeling comfortable. I'm not sure if it would provide enough support for high impact activities such as running (esp for women with bigger chests), but probably would work for other low to medium impact activities. I already ordered another one and can't wait for it to arrive so I can wear it to my next class! May 9, 2012
Great versatile tank! I love this tank! this is my second, I just got it in the Flash color and wowzers it is bright!! but I love it! these tanks are so comfy and I love how I can wear it without a bra since it has the cups, great summer piece, I will buy more!!! May 7, 2012
Y cause its awesome I treated myself to another tank and have been very happy with the Y tank. Im 5'4 145 and the 8 fits perfect. I am also a C/D cup and do not have to wear an extra bra when running with this tank. It just fits great and I will be buying more colors. May 7, 2012
Great top, not so much quality I absolutely love this top, I bought my first one (Pink one) a week ago and loved it so much I immediately ordered another one in black online. After wearing the pink top only once the bottom seam started to come apart. I washed it one time and did not dry it, this shouldn't happen for the amount of money you pay for good quality yoga clothes. Then when I got the black top, same size, it fit bigger. I didn't think I needed to try it on considering it was the same size as my pink one. So I didnt try it on before I took the tags off. Only when I put it on to go practice did I realize it fit differently. Anyway I love this top so much and I see all the girls in my yoga classes wearing it I just wish mine didn't begin to fall apart before I was able to enjoy it, and maybe Lululemon just needs to be more aware of the sizing being the same. Not a bad tank when it comes to the support of a 34b in the removable cups. It does dig into my arms right by my armpits at a size 6, and the size 8 is too big. May 5, 2012
please make a tall version! I have been wearing versions of the power Y since I discovered LuLu while living in Seattle ('06-'07). I was very bummed when the price went up to add bra cups (I don't need them and don't like having to pay for others to have them). My favorite version of the power Y is from a few years ago where the length went to the low hip. The longer length works better for those of us who are tall and enjoy practicing arm balances, inversions and twisting binds. Never have to pull down or adjust my older power Ys. I would typically prefer the size 10 but have to get the 12 to have a little extra length but it still isn't enough. I have tried many different styled tops over the years but always go back to the power Y. Please, please make a longer version with a wide array of color choices!!! May 5, 2012
Oh boy...sooo sad I love this tank and I have it in five different colours. Since I saw the porcelaine blue colour in the stores, I couldn't wait to purchase the power y in this colour. I am so disappointed to see it in a floral print rather than a solid or heathered colour. Love the blue but the print will not compliment my body shape at all. :( May 1, 2012
good support up top, if you need it This is a nice, basic tank. I think that it is overpriced for what it is, because you can get very similar tanks of many other brands that cost less, but if you need one with slightly thicker material and better support up top, this one will probably be worth it for you. I am a 32 nearly-A under normal circumstances, and am currently very pregnant so my boobs are bigger than they've ever been (I'm MAYBE a 34 A/B now) and for me this tank is still total overkill, especially with the cups in. Actually, it smashes me flat. If you are like me, and normally don't need to wear a bra to go jogging, you don't need this much armature. I prefer something with a little more give that doesn't bind the girls so much. May 1, 2012
