This is a great-looking top and is so comfortable and versatile. But, I purchased it on sale at my local store (final sale) in heather gray before seeing the reviews about washing problems. I wore it as many times as I could before washing it just in case it went poorly. I finally washed, by hand, in the sink with cold water and woolite. I carefully reshaped to dry flat. It's mostly okay, but the back seam went a little crooked, which doesn't bode well for subsequent washes. A tank that can't be washed is pretty disappointing.

Have the quality issues been fixed?
I bought this tank in white, light grey and dark grey. I loved the fit when I first got them, long and just loose enough. Sadly, like other reviewers said, the side seams changed after I washed them and I had to return the white and light grey to the store. It honestly looked like I wasn't wearing the top properly, because the seams no longer hit my sides but had somehow moved to the front of the shirt and were uneven. It was odd.
I'm just wondering though, I notice that you took new photos of this tank for the website. Does that mean these quality issues have been fixed? I loved the tank so I'd like to get it if it's going to hold it's shape. Please respond!
(Also, I didn't find that the dark grey colour twisted, but it did shrink in the dryer. Since it was my fault for putting in the dryer I decided not to return it as defective merchendise, but really you shouldn't advertise that these are dryer safe because they do still shrink.)

Super comfy versatile tank!
I bought the cadet blue stripe first, and after it came I ordered the heather grey! It is super soft and moves wonderfully with you. I have them both in a 10 and find them to fit quite loose, although not in a sloppy way. The side flaps do fall a little strangely on my hips, and I find the back to be just slightly too long to wear under a hip-length sweater or something, but it is still a great tank to wear anywhere or for yoga!
I was worried about the other washing reviews but I washed the cadet blue with all other lulu stuff, cold water and delicate cycle, and hung to dry and it is still perfect! I washed the grey the same way except I put it in a delicate wash bag and after being hung to dry, it too looked perfect!

Not worth the money
I bought this top a little over a month ago and instantly fell in love with it. It is so soft and cozy. I washed it once and hung it to dry, the bottom bunched up a tiny bit, but I decided it was nothing that bothered me enough to return it. I washed it again and the bunching has now gotten worse and the seams do not line up properly. It looks like a rag. So disappointed in the quality of this $50.00 tank top.

LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE!!!
I was hesitant to order this on-line because I wasn't having much luck with Lulu tanks lately, but I'm so glad I did. I'm more of an apple-shape and I hold weight in my mid-section and upper body so this tank top is perfect. I got the heathered black and I feel like it slims me down without it being over-sized. Also, thought it was a good deal so I'm gonna order more. I think it's great for casual wear with jeans, etc.

Washed and still loving it
I love the concept of this top. Love the lightweight and oversized design, and the length! Perfect for my less sweaty classes. I was definitely weary of purchasing the top based on all the reviews, but went for it anyways. After seeing the responses from the Lululemon team, I knew if it didn't work out, I could just return it.
Love the fit - definitely go down a size though. Wore it, washed it (cold) and low tumble dry and ta-da! It's still looking great, no pucker to the hem - it's all good. (I bought the heathered black). I love this top - will definitely be buying another colour.

Try on if you have hips
I wanted to love this and I think for some, this will be wonderful; however, it did not work for me. I have a 24" waist and 37" hips and the difference on me created the flaps on the side of the shirt to stick out funny. It is really stylish and can be worn in so many ways, but it just wasn't for me!

Great idea, poor fabric
Bought this tank to layer over a sports bra for weight lifting, looked and felt great until I washed it. The seams went completely crooked, now I have a twisty misshapen rag. :o( Thank goodness for the GEC because I am sending it back for a refund....I always wash my stuff in cold and lay flat to dry so I think it's this fabric as I also had the issue with the Dhyana short sleeve shirt. Would definitely not buy this again, they should pull these because they are really poor quality. Glad that Lulu stands by their product though! Very appreciated!

Cadet Blue Stripe survives washing.
I've read a lot of reviews that say these tanks twist when washed. I purchased the Cadet Blue stripe, washed it twice (on gentle cycle, hung to dry) and the tank has held up. I can understand how the solid colors might have problems though if they haven't been sewed on the bias.

When I received this tank in the mail, I was thrilled with how soft it was. It hung beautifully and looked so flattering. But don't be fooled!!! After one wash, this top looked like a 20 year old dishrag. I ordered the charcoal gray color and after I washed the shirt, it appeared super faded, pilled and OLD! It was also grossly misshapen and no longer hung right. The neck area looked odd, and the entire top was twisted to one side so that the two slits at the bottom were lopsided - one hung over the front of my thigh, the other hung on the side of the other thigh. After reading other recent reviews, I see mine isn't the only top with this problem. And for almost $50 this is absolutely unacceptable. I've had Target tops last way longer for much less. I'm starting to notice a quality issue with several of Lulu's products lately - I certainly hope they rectify the issue or I'll be shopping elsewhere. For this price, the quality of a workout top should be top notch, not something that resembles a Walmart special.
