Rated 3 out of 5 by javagirl Don't order Static black!!!! Otherwise, good item
I have worn the racer back for years and it is a good, snug tank and a nice hip-length. I ordered the static-black color for Christmas and it was awful. The material seemed different and the inside color of the tank was white. The material kept rolling up showing the white inside. None of the other cool racerback I own do this. The online description did not mention or show any white. I returned the item via the online system and STILL do not have my credit. It was received last month and they are supposedly backed up. Must be a lot of people returning items like this one.

Looks like I am another "inconsistent fabric" casualty... I should have read the reviews before buying. I ordered this in heathered menthol awhile back and I absolutely loved the fabric/fit/feel of that tank, so I ordered two more, in cool breeze and raspberry. The fabric for the second two shirts is a lot more dense, not very breathable, and cheaper looking. I'll be returning them shortly...

I love these tanks for yoga, spin, and weightlifting. They are simple and fit well. I don't run in them because of the longer length (I could get them hemmed but I like them long for other things, so I just wear swiftly tanks or a looser singlet for running). As other reviewers have stated, different patterns and colors can have different feels and fits, so try before you take off the tags! I haven't had any that don't work for me, but that moment could come!

First off, I would agree with most people saying the fabrics are inconsistent so DON'T order online. Go to the store so you know what you're getting. I have this in Bordeaux and the heathered green color and they are AMAZING! So soft, so comfy, so perfect. However, I just got dramatic static in the mail and it's junk. I was excited to wear it so unfortunately I immediately took the tags off and headed to the gym. That's where trouble begins. The fabric is slippery, like a cheap swimsuit material, and so when I was doing an aggressive HIIT workout, it kept slipping and sliding everywhere. I'm a bigger chest (32DD so the top was see-through ish in the bust but perfect in the stomach/waist area, size 4). It started to skooch town in the bust so a large portion of my sports bra was hanging out--not cute. And then the bottom rode up so my stomach was exposed. So upset that this one wasn't as big of a hit as the others and that the opportunity to return isn't there.

I have the heathered bordeaux and I absolutely love it! It's so soft and the colour is gorgeous. Perfect for any workout or layered under my favourite soft cream cardigan for day-to-day wear. I've had no issues with wear and tear and the length and fit is perfect for me. I have no fuss with it. I wear a 6 and I'm a B cup so this is fine to work out in with a sports bra underneath - obviously bustier gals may want a tank with more support.
I'm seeing reviews about varying fits and fabrics so I might hold off on ordering another online until I can get in a store and try them on. Would definitely buy another. I think the price is right as well, I've paid upwards of $30+ for Nike tank tops that I'm not as happy with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by annamac Everyone should own this tank!
I don't know what took me so long to buy one of these tanks but I cannot say enough good things about it! I'm generally a 6 or an 8 in lululemon tops but decided to go with the 8 for this style as it is a little more fitted. The fit is so flattering, it stays in place no matter what I'm doing, and it's fitted enough that I'm not swimming in the top but it's not so fitted that I feel self conscious. One of my favorite things about this tank is that I tend to sweat - a lot! - no matter what kind of work out I'm doing and I've found that other tops kind of just hold in the moisture and are soaking wet by the time I take them off but cool rackerback is completely different it stays dry and comfortable the entire time!! Will absolutely be repurchasing!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by BirdNerd2014 lovely colour but see through
I ordered this in the colour ray and it is really vibrant and pretty however the fabric itself is very very thin and it shows EVERY little lump and bump. It is not a forgiving top at all. I thought I would try my first Cool Racerback because usually I wear the Swiftly Tech tank and love them. I love that the CR is lower in the front than the ST but overall my $5 discount tanks are comparable to the ray CR so I will be returning. Please make more items in the ray colour!

This top is Great, it fits in all the right places. I have about 8 of these tops and I have never had a problem or a pull of some sort in any of them. They are a great fabric and they never become see through.

I just recently purchased a bunch of these tanks in a variety of colours. My black one is all stretched at the bottom and my white on has a hole on the seam. These tanks have really gone down in quality.

I've heard many negative reviews about the cool racerback regarding the fabric consistency... and they're all true! The fabric is not as thick/have the same quality as it once did before. I have one I got a few years ago (i'm not much of a CRB fan and rarely wear that one though) and i'll compare it to the recent ones.
That one is nice and thick and still looks brand new. My sis got one a few months ago (a magenta color) and I tried it on for fun and noticed how dramatically different it was the second I put it on! It was buttery soft and almost felt flimsy and extremely, extremely thin (half the thickness of the older CRB) How is this considered light luon?!
Okay well later i saw one in heathered cranberry and loved the color and wanted it but knew the decline in quality. I went to the stores to feel it and see if all of them were that thin or maybe my sister's was just from a bad batch. Nope, the cranberry one was just as thin, if not even more buttery and thinner! I was so disappointed in the quality decline.
Recently i decided to purchase one in black in hopes they'd have many in stock from before the quality decline (i heard they have a heavier inventory of basic, popular colors) and yeah, my black CRB is much thicker than those other two. The black one almost felt like the one i got a few years ago.
It's so weird how inconstant the fabric can be. Bottom line if you're iffy on getting one because of the fabric thinness, i'd suggest getting black because it seems to be a color that still is thick as CRB from previous times.
