Scoop Neck Tank *Light Luon
I hope this top becomes a staple again because the Scoop Me Up Tank is awful (ugh I wish I could return mine). I love both the Luon and the Luon Light versions. I think Luon is nice when you want to wear something a bit more lightweight. This is a must have top for girls with boobs. If I want to run in this I have to wear a bra, but that's honestly the case for most tops. For a size reference I wear a 32DDD and I'm a size 6.

Love the Scoop Neck Tank in the Soft Pink Color
First, Lulu, PLEASE keep making tanks and sports bras in the soft pink color this tank is available in. I just spent my last paycheck on several items in this color, knowing it comes and goes. I watch for it and snap items up when they're available in parfait pink/soft pink, etc.
I LOVE this scoop neck tank. It fits beautifully, is very slimming, and supports without being too tight. The neckline is gorgeous and works well, without strangling or being too constricting. I can run without bouncing all over the place (I'm a 36D), and I'm held in during hot yoga inversions as well. It's great for working out, of course, but I've taken to wearing this and several other Lulu tanks out for errands or just lazy weekend days to lounge around in......soooo comfortable, and I look good! Thank you Lulu!
I have never had the pilling issues with any Lulu tops or bras or tanks that people talk about in reviews here. Perhaps it has to do with how people are washing them? I put all my tops in mesh bags and never wash them with cotton (as a Lulu rep in a store suggested to me when I first started buying Lulu), and I've never had an issue. I find Lulu quality top notch, though I agree it is very expensive. I've had to curb my addiction.......BUT, if you continue to make sure you offer clothing in the beautiful pale pink color, I'll have to cave.........

Fan of the old LUON Scoopneck
I love that Lululemon brought this tank back. I bought my first Scoop Neck Tank a little over a year ago in black and a printed black/white, and I love them. So when it came online again, I had to order one more for this season. I just received it (in inkwell paisley), and the cut and style are still great: great coverage of my 32D chest, with no sideboob and the thick straps don't dig into my shoulders. Length great for my 5'0" frame.
The only complaints I have is this: No removable cups, and Luon Light is horrible. If I never got my original Scoop Necks from before, then I would be happy with this top. The new luon light has a swimsuit feel to it, and it's very thin, as many other reviewers have complained about. I thought that maybe it's because of the printed material? But I have an old printed luon top that is just fine. Oh, Lulu. I love your brand, but I'm finding better pieces for less money through other brands. Please bring back the original Luon for your classic tops. Thank goodness for the Power Y in the original Luon (online only). Maybe create Scoop Necks in the original Luon only online??? I will buy those in multiples, I promise.

Thank you for bringing back this tank!
The scoop neck is my favorite tank! Thank you for bringing it back. My only complaint is that I would prefer it be made in regular luon instead of luon light. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The fabric is definitely thinner and less supportive than the scoop neck I purchased a year and a half ago. Please continue to stock this tank on a regular basis, it is a classic lulu item! I have been waiting since last holiday for this one to make a return and am so happy it did! I bought 3.

Make all Scoop Necks in FULL LUON
Please make all scoop neck colors in FULL LUON...I was so happy to find the Black Scoop Neck Top in LUON in my local store..didn't realize that all my previous colors/design were in Luon Light...please, please make more colors/designs in FULL LUON - available in stores.
My first Lulu top was a Scoop Neck Top and it was started the addiction...please also make it a basic - not a seasonal..glad it came back for fall.
Love the design, don't love the sheer fabric...very flattering to full bust, shoulders..striiking cut for back..
Gave high stars to the design and keeping it a Lulu basic - with FULL LUON...big difference in fabric quality.

Loose in the waist
I'm usually in between a Lulu size 4 and 6. I ordered a size 6 in this one as I read previous comments about it being tight in the neck. The size 6 fits really well around the bust, and I didn't have to adjust it as many times as I do my Power-Ys. The top is loose around the waist/hips for me, so when I do inversions it flips itself over and exposes my belly. Something for ladies to think about when doing inversions.

Inconsistency of material among same named tanks
I tried this on in the store and the design is great. I am usually a size 6 in the tanks, and I tried on the size 6 and it fits well. It covers up my breasts (my cup size is between D and DD) well without pressing them hard to cause pain. And there is no spilling. It fits just right. This Scoop Neck Tank hugs my breasts way better than the Scoop Me Up Tank II does. However, I am confused with the inconsistency of materials used among the batch of Scoop Neck Tank in store.
I really like the design. However, I am really confused with the material. I looked at the ribbon tag on a size 4 black color, the tag said the body is made of 87% Nylon and 13% Lycra, while a size 6 black color has the tag saying its body is made of 92% Nylon and 8% Lycra. And I've compared all the lulu items I owned and noticed that usually the thick old luon is made of 87% Nylon and 13% Lycra, while the new luon light is made of 92% Nylon and 8% Lycra. So that means the size 4 I was holding in the store is made of thick old luon and the size 6 is made of luon light....... but the price tag on the size 6 tank didn't say it's luon light. It said it's made of "luon" without mentioning anything about "light", and the name is just "Scoop Neck Tank" on the price tag. There is no indication of anything about "light", but this size 6 does feel the same as luon light.
So I bought those two tanks of size 4 and size 6 back home to compare. I stretched them and noticed that the size 6 is more sheer than the size 4 (so I think my obeservation is right, size 4 is really made of thick luon and the size 6 is made of luon light). Then I come online to look at the description, and see that the name here did indicate that this scoop neck tank is called "Scoop Neck Tank *Luon Light", so I guess lulu is really intending to make the scoop neck tank with luon light this season? But then I read further down about the description written on this web page and then the material is listed as "luon, coolmax", it said "luon"! Not "luon light"! So what's up with that???? .....LuLu, what are you doing with this tank? Did you make up your mind whether you want to make the body of this tank out of thick old luon or the new luon light? Or did you actually make 2 different batches, one is having its body made of thick old luon, and the other batch with the new luon light? And then the 2 batches were mixed together and get distributed to the stores, and customers now are in their lucky draw to see which one is lucky enough to grab the one that is made of their favorite fabric? It's very confusing! It's confusing because I want the old thick luon, and I am "lucky" enough to be able to come across one size 4 that is made of thick luon BUT I am actually a size 6! I bought the size 4 only for the purpose of comparing the materials between the 2 tank tops, but I can't really wear the size 4 because it doesn't fit me (too small). So I feel that I am in a lucky draw, that I am gonna go back to store tomorrow to see if I can find a size 6 with a tag saying its body is made of 87% Nylon and 13% Lycra. I am wishing myself luck.
I selected "yes" for recommending this item to a friend because I like this tank based on the design. But the inconsistency of fabric is not an appealing thing to me. Seriously, I am holding a size 4 in black color and a size 6 in black color, they are in the same color, but they differ not only in size, but also in the material used on their bodies according to the ribbon tag. It's really really odd to me.

I'm glad I tried this tank on...it's true to size, very flattering, and of course comfortable. I paired this tank with my pace setter skirt, and it's awesome!

I have quite a few different lulu tanks, but this is my first Scoop neck, so I'm not familiar with the any earlier versions. This version, I love.
(1) Looks/styling/fabric. I love the midnight iris print (still wish it was black inside instead of gray, though), and the tank in this color looks great. Although it's luon light, the fabric didn't feel at all thin or fragile to me in the midnight iris print - unlike some lulu tanks I have that I feel I could poke a finger through (yeah striped CRB I'm talking to you). The styling is slimming and flattering on me. The tank feels very solidly constructed - no worries that I'll rip it as I stretch it to get it on and off.
(2) Fit. I'm 5'10", ~165 lbs, and got a 12. This tank feels the most secure to me, containment-wise, of all my lulu tanks - everything is held firmly in place, and although it's fairly low-cut, I don't feel any danger than anything will spill out the top. I especially love that the straps ride very high on the shoulders, basically at the neck (this placement is very visible in the close-up neck photo of the model). For me this is a very comfortable place for the straps to be, and it lets my shoulders swing freely as I run. It's almost as if there are no straps - I can barely feel them. If you prefer your straps lower down on your shoulders, this tank might not be for you. The torso length is great, just about mid-hip on my loooong torso. It's a slim fit, but not strangling-tight.
(3) Performance. I got this to run in outdoors in the summer, and it's great for that. It's the most supportive lulu tank I have, and as I said, everything is held firmly in place - no bouncing. (I'm average-chested, neither flat-chested nor particularly busty, and I strongly prefer a built-in bra - this one works well.) The strap in back is mesh, which is cool, and the high straps make for cool shoulders as well. The luon light fabric also keeps things cool as well. (I hate being hot and sweaty when I run! It's unavoidable, but this tank helps.) The tank doesn't ride up at all when I run.
In summary, this is a great running tank for me, and I hope to see it in more colors, particularly more intense patterns.

I USED to love this tank
This tank used to be my absolute favorite Lulu tank!! Seriously, I have at least 10 of these! First off, Lulu, shame on you for making what was once one of your "signature" tanks only a "seasonal" tank. Whatever "seasonal" means. It's like making the Power Y "seasonal!" Like seriously??? Then, you decided to bring it back (in truly terrible color choices.) I bought the Blue Moon last night and boy can I tell you I was disappointed. The fabric could not feel any worse, any more fragile, thin, and un-compressive. Nothing about this tank reminds me of my old, well-loved Scoop Necks! Also- I asked the educator at my store what fabric it was now made of -- Luon Light! And it feels like Luon Light too!! So, tell me Lulu, why does the website say it is still Luon?? Hm... And one of the other reviewers made the same comment and you still said that it was Luon! Fix the website (and your attitude about customer feedback), fix the tank, and STOP messing around with well loved products! Your quality was finally looking up a bit...and now I'm not so sure. You may think that you have your customers wrapped around your finger and that they'll keep coming back for more. Trust me, they won't.
