why we made this
This tank's thin racerback straps allow for open, unrestricted movement in the shoulders while the body-skimming fit is a welcome feature for those of us who have set our intention on a handstand. Just because we're inverted, doesn't mean our tank should be.

One of my go-to tanks!
Power Y is one of my go-to tanks! Supportive enough to get me through a great spin class or my favorite hot yoga class. I love the fit and comfort of this tank. I can be in-between sizes, so I am still trying to decide which size is the best fit for me, but I have a bustier chest so just want to ensure the girls are supported yet covered.

The perfect tank!
It's the perfect tank for all occasions, wearing it on its own or layering it underneath.
Love the thicker material (compared to Luon Light), it's so comfy that I can wear it all day long.
It also stays put even in inversions and won't ride up! <3

I just adore the Power Y Tank in Luon and Luon Light. It is so comfortable, flattering and cute. It wicks my sweat so well in heated vinyasa classes and while running.I am 5'9" and love the extra length on these tops. My favorite color in this top so far is the bleached coral, which is just the most beautiful color. I would love to see it in guava lava as well!

Power Y Rocks!
This tank top is both comfortable and stylin!
but it is a little annoying cause it is so long especially for small girls! but you can still get it hemed as i have learned!

I much prefer this over the light luon power Y. It is just a wee bit snugger or maybe it's just the thicker material that makes it feel that way. The bottom doesn't slide up in flow class and the chest doesn't slowly slip down like with the luon light. The raspberry stripe is such a cute colour... not a single complaint!

New and Improved Luon Power Y!!
I am officially a convert. I had tried on the luon power y's in the past and always found them to be a little too short in the torso. When the luon lights came out I bought a couple of those but despite the better length, the fabric tended to stretch out (especially in the straps) and was sheer in the lighter colors. I decided to give the luon power y another shot and ordered it in white, in my usual size 8 (I am 5'10", 145 lbs and 34D). I cannot say enough great things about this tank. The white luon is gorgeous: thick and smooth and completely opaque. The best part is that the length is the same as my luon light power y's. Best of both worlds! Absolutely love this tank and will be buying more in luon. The only negative I would add is that the cups that came in the tank seem to be a little bit misshapen. I've had this happen lately with some energy bras I've bought as well - please fix this issue as we don't want lumpy looking boobies!

Fabric Feels Terrible In Surge Color
I was in one of the stores near me trying on Fluff Off Items and noticed the Surge Power Y had, just recently, quietly appeared on the rack.
I went over to buy and when I reached out to touch it, I was shocked. I love power Y's and own plenty in both the heavier weight luon and the lighter weight. This fabric felt almost abrasive to me. Not even remotely close to soft. I believe there's a problem here.
I did not purchase.

Fits bigger than Luon Light
About a month ago I purchased my first Power Y tank, which I absolutely love. I was wearing it so often I went online to order a second one and saw that the Power Y tanks come in both Luon and Luon Light, something I had not noticed before. I realized the one I had was Luon Light, and it was perfect, but I wanted a colour that was only offered in regular Luon, so I ordered it.
Turns out the regular Luon in the same size 8 fits much roomier through the middle/waist area, almost baggy. The Luon Light size 8 was more fitted and the fabric is softer and thinner--more what I was after.
I am sure this is a great product but wanted to let others know it fits slightly larger through the middle than the Luon Light. The chest area seems to fit the same.

I have 2 power-y tanks, and now I can buy more. I stayed away from the luon-light tanks because of the bad feedback. I am so glad I can stock up on more if this great tank!
I wear this tank for everything from yoga, to hot yoga, general gym activities, and as an under cami for other tops. Seriously, everything!
As for size reference: I am 5'3 117 lbs and a 32DDD(!). The top section can be tight, but everywhere else it fits great. I can't wear this top alone, but with a sports bra underneath, it is perfect.
Lulu seems to finally be turning things around, and I am very happy.

I recently lost weight, and now I fit these! (Before, my boobs would only fit in a ta-ta tamer.) And oh, I want one in every color. I can wear it under my mail carrier's uniform (which is a horrible poly/cotton blend) and it's just the right amount of support and is comfy next to my skin. Then when I get off work, I can either put a t-shirt on over it, or wear it by itself if it's hot, and I feel and look great.
The thick material is supportive and soft without feeling too delicate, and is wonderful at wicking sweat. It's on the long side on me, but I find I actually like the extra length.
I do wish the straps were a tiny bit longer, but it's not a deal-breaker.
