why we made this

We made this running skirt with four-way stretch fabric and built-in shorts so you can feel confident no matter how large you leap. The shorts have silicone grip on the hem so they don't roll up mid-stride so you're covered when you're out making tracks.

Make more! I'm 5'8" and finally succumbed to buying the regular length because I wanted the skirt so bad but darn I need the tall! I love the fit and the extra length would make it perfect. Had to knock off a star because of availability! Another reviewer said it right, you guys are leaving $$ on the table not making more of the tall length. Were out here, help a tall girl out!!!!!!!! Tall is ideal for golf Love that this comes in tall. This is more modest for conservative golf courses. I didn't buy it forever because I felt it had too much going on in the back. After seeing a few friends golf in it, I decided to order. It is great and the 4 way stretch is nice. Hope there are more skirts in tall in the future. February 20, 2015
Great multifunctional skirt! Love this skirt. Started playing tennis again and this skirt hits all of the needs: has a great ball holder, is long enough where my toosh isn't going to show when I'm running around the court (and I'm a leggy lady), and is cute to boot. I currently play indoors since currently the courts are snow covered, but can easily fit a pair of leggings or capris under the skirt for extra warmth. Overall: Grab it! You'll be glad you did. Perfect for All of My Activities I love this skirt! It's perfect for everything I do, and I love the tall option. A little more fabric doesn't hurt. I'm 130lbs and 5'4", and my regular 6 works wonderfully. The ball pocket is genius, too. I don't have a problem with it riding up either, thanks to the silicon grips underneath the shorts. Even if you don't play tennis, this skirt is a hit. January 18, 2015
Brilliant product - not enough tall colours Since I discovered the tall pace setter a few months ago I have been dreaming of the same colour assortment as the regular one. I am an avid tennis player and these skirts are absolutely perfect for the game - and flirty to boot! However I have had to travel extensive lenghts to visit various stores to pick up "what they have"- typically ONE skirt in 12 tall, and all three acknowledged that they seldom receive any selection of colours. The stores often do not know when an item present on the website will be available, and despite receiving the email newsletter, I often find that the 12 tall is sold out before I can even think of buying one online. So frustrating!!! I am not sure that I understand the marketing strategy behind it - there is now a black market for these where people are paying double and at times triple the money for the same skirt - I won't pay that for one skirt but I would definitly pay triple amount for three original Lulu different colour skirts! I too feel cheated for being an avid sportfan - my tall legs make me very athletic - isn't Lulu all about encouraging us to practice more sport??? January 3, 2015
All Pace Setter colors should come in Tall length This is a fantastically designed skirt. I adore it and have been purchasing it ever since it first came out. I even owned the predecessor, called the Speed skirt. I just counted and I have 21 different colors of this Pace Setter style hanging in my closet. I include this information not to show off, but as a testament to the fact that I know what I am talking about and that I am a loyal customer. To Lulu headquarters: Do you ever notice how the Tall sizes sell out much faster than the Regulars? If any Pace Setters ever make it to markdown, they are 90% of the time the Regulars. This is a chance to make more money Lulu - just make more colors in Tall! I know a lot of ladies like the Regular length, and I think Lulu should keep making them, but would it kill you, Lulu, to make all Pace Setter skirt colors in Tall as well? Frankly, it is terribly undemocratic that only select colors come in Tall. What, don't tall people deserve access to the same colors that shorter people can get their hands on? In the past 3-4 months alone, I have been waiting and waiting for the Tall to come out in these following colors, but they never arrived: -Bumble Berry -Prisma Multi Guava Lava -Flowabunga Black Angel Wing -Wheezy Check Multi -Dottie Eighth Gingham White Black (released last week & fingers crossed the Tall is coming) It is very frustrating to see a beautiful new Pace Setter color come out, and then wait and wait for the right length, only to have it never show up! Please make ALL Pace Setters in Tall as well! December 30, 2014
super short I love these, my legs are my best feature, but at 5'10" i am not confident enough in the grip at the hem that they will stay in place while I am instructing and dancing in my Jazzercise class, so I wear bike shorts under them. I wish the shorts were 2 inches longer and more form fitting. They are super cute and I get loads of compliments. December 1, 2014
Mediocre I love this skirt! It's super cute and I love the ruffles. The silicone grip on the thigh is really nice when running and the pockets are really nice. I didn't like at the top of the waist, it was really tight and made it hard to run. The bottom fit like a glove but the top was too tight. October 15, 2014
Love the look, hate the fit! I bought this skirt for my running and long walks, and I love the look especially the cute ruffles that are super flattering on the derrier! Unfortunately the short part of this skirt does not fit well for me. The plastic grips dig into my lower legs and there are times when it is uncomfortable to wear. I find if I am just walking I can get away with wearing it though. I love the design and the venting panels under the ruffles and would possibly recommend it with the caveat that you should definitely go to the store and try it on and see how the grips fit around your thighs before purchasing! Lovely skirt, but I have an idea ... I probably skew a little older and rounder than the average Lululemon customer, but I don't think I am alone. I see us out there at the gym and on the trails. I just bought my second Pace Setter skirt because I loved the first one. I love the pleats in the back, and the silicone grips on the shorts are wonderful, and I am very happily chafe-free :) However, the second skirt I bought (finally a pattern in size 10 that was not sold-out!) was not as advertised: the Petal Pusher pattern is 2-way stretch, not 4-way. I hope you guys can correct this on the website. The skirt fits differently, and I am not sure whether to keep it. Also, I have number of other running skirts, and a feature that I think is missing on this skirt is a pocket on the legs for runners. Maybe you could keep the ball pocket on one side and put a pocket with an opening facing up on the other leg. It would make this the perfect multi-sport skirt. October 7, 2014
