It Was Love
I went to LLL to try on shorts since it's already heating up in AZ, the gal in the dressing room suggested a skirt - I basically gave her a heck no, and explained that I'm not a running-skirt-person. Turns out I was wrong. I humored her, tried on a skirt - and it was love. My friend asked the following evening how my run in my new skirt went and 14 hours after my run I was still wearing it. I didn't want to take it off. :-) I purchased a tall for more coverage (I'm 5'6) and feel like if you're not actually tall you may be able to size down. I tried on the regular skirt and my usual 8 fit, but in the tall a 6 fit better. I've had the skirt for a few weeks now and still love it; I will totally purchase additional colors in the future.

Love this skirt. This is my third one and I love the baroque blue color. I am 5'4 and 115 lbs and the size 4 fits great. I order the tall as I have young children and the extra length is great when I'm chasing them all day.

Looks so cute!
I usually buy yoga gears at Lululemon.
This was the first time for me to buy something for tennis.
At tennis court, I am the most fashionable person, nd so many people asked me where did I buy the skirt.

love the tall version
I am 5'7 but with a short torso so the regular version of the pace-setter is too short for me. I have been trying to get the tall version but the colour choice was always limited (black or white). Finally the cadet blue came out, bought it and love it. The colour is greyish and would go with pretty much everything. The skirt is very light and breathable with perfectly lined shorts. It will be great to wear for golf in the summer.

Love this skirt but really wonder why it isn't made in a size 12 - the regular length one is. I wish they would change this.

Another disappointing week for the tall girls
Yet another disappointing week for the tall crowd. You brought out yet another bright color in the regular length pacesetter this week while us tall gals are left with one semi bright royal color and black, black, and almost black woohoo! Come on people tall girls like spring time colors too! From what I can see you have gotten this comment by a billion customers how about doing something about it. Isn't that called good business?

This was my first time trying out the tall version of the skirt. I am not tall, but wanted the extra coverage. I am pleased with the skirt! I just wish there were more color choices....the tall selection seems quite limited compared to the regular version.

Love this skirt! BUT....
Love the Pacesetter Run Skirts! I have at least 10 of these. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the new baroque blue colour. I have been waiting for many years to see this shade of blue in Lulu's lineup, and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! Here is my BUT: every single skirt I have has shorts which are the same colour as the skirt. This new baroque blue skirt has blue and black thick stripes on the shorts, which I see in the photos now that I am specifically looking for that. However, I didn't see the stripes in the photos so I was not happy when I received my pkg. I did just read a review that mentions the stripes, but alas, I didn't see that review prior to ordering. The person who mentions the stripes in her review apparently likes them, but I'm not a fan. The stripes are so 80s, and are reminicent of that "huge bodybuilder dude in the striped pants" look. However, in an upright position the shorts won't show much (hopefully) so I'll keep the skirt just bc the blue is so amazing.
I have to say I prefer the 4 way stretch for actual workouts, and the 2 way stretch for casual summer wear. The 2 way stretch doesn't seem very comfortable when working out (I'm a gym girl as opposed to a runner) and the skirt usually ends up around my hips. It only takes a second to pull it down but when having to do that repeatedly, it gets distracting.
I'm always a 6 in these skirts, and I always get the tall version. I'm 5'6" and 132 lbs with average length legs, but I'm curvy. I appreciate that the tall skirts finally seem to be coming out in more colours, but the colour options still lag far behind the regular version. I think the longer length of the tall version is better and more respectable for those of us who are a little older, but still want to look good in a flattering way. At my age, I find those regular skirts on the verge of being indecent, but they look great on teenagers.
My biggest BUT: this skirt is called the Run: Pace Setter Skirt. Which indicates to me it was designed for runners, so why is the pocket on the shorts upside down??? I realize that this skirt has been hugely adopted by the tennis girls, but that pocket could be so much more useful to those of us who run or go to the gym. Unless you play tennis, it's useless. If the pocket was stitched at the bottom, then we could ALL make use of it. Just saying...

Thought I could no longer wear skirts!
I gained weight, and have been feeling quite self conscious in skirts, also being tall almost everything seems like a mini on me. I'm 5'11, 175 lbs, bought this in black, size 10 tall, and LOVE it! Long enough, breathable, soft, stretchy, comfy, slimming, just lovely. Great for not only running but for my long dog walks/hikes as well, very comfortable shorts underneath that you barely notice. Great essential piece!
