Here To There Dress
Love this dress!
I had originally passed on this dress when I saw it in stores earlier this year, but thought I'd give it a try this time around. So glad I did! I agree with reviewers who say that this is for shorter gals (I am only 5'3", so it works for me). I'm usually a size 2 in Lulu, but this dress in size 4 fits perfectly (32"-23" for reference). The fit and flare style is flattering and I love that you can sweat in it without worry (I walk to work and in the summer that is a helpful feature)! I ended up buying all 4 colors (black, biggie dot, bordeaux, and grey), so clearly I love it! I will say that I don't love the unfinished hem, but because of the fabric, it doesn't look unfinished (if that makes sense). Make more colors, please!

Small through the bodice!
This dress is "out of stock" no more because I'm returning mine. My Lulu size is consistently 4 for bottoms, 6 for tops, so I ordered the 6. As soon as I took it out of the package I noticed how SMALL it looked. The bodice is very tight -- so tight I couldn't get the zipper past my rib cage. I am small busted, 5'4" 124 pounds. I would def size up on this dress!

Not for curvy gals
I'm an hourglass/pear shape and skater silhouettes are usually my go-to for dresses. I loved the shape, bordeaux color and fabric, but the box pleats are just NOT flattering if you are curvy from the waist down. The pleats puckered and made the skirt look too voluminous. Without the pleats I think it would have been perfect! Sadly had to return.

The most amazing piece from Lulu
I tried this dress on in my local lulu store and was totally smitten. The dress is amazing, very well made, flattering cut and so simple and elegant. You can dress it up or down and literally wear evrywhere. I am 5'7" 34c and normally 6 in lulu tops and 4 in lulu bottoms.this dress in size 6 was fitting perfectly, though I tried size 8 (it was in cute white polka dot) and it was good too, depends if you prefer tighter or loser fit. As soon as paycheck arrives next week I am heading to buy it.

Cocktail dress in athletic fabric
I love this dress and while it is pricey, you could easily wear it to a more formal event where you would wear an even more expensive dress.
Cut: I love the cut of this dress. The reverse racerback is very flattering on most body types and the tight bodice that blooms into the pleated skirt slims the waistline. I love the way the pleats lay and find that they nicely conceal my post-baby poof. I love the zipper detail in the back. And as a bonus, the zipper itself is a nice sturdy metal (instead of some of the cheap-looking plastic zippers lulu sometimes uses) which has a pleasing aesthetic.
Fabric: The fabric is stretchy and comfortable and since the top part of the dress is cut slim, the material clings nicely and moves with you. While I like the look of the raw hemline, I agree that for the price, they should have at least put some kind of backing along the bottom hem. I have not washed it yet, so I can't say whether or not the material frays.
Fit: I am between a 4 and a 6 in lulu tops and found the 6 in this to be a perfect, body skimming fit. I am petite and found the length to be just right for me, so I could imagine the skirt being too short if I were taller.

I wanted to love this dress but it is going back. For the price...
it could be cut different. I am actually a bit longer in the waist and while it looks cute on some shorter people it did nothing for me. I think this would be a great cut if it was a drop waist and then the pleats. It would make it feel less like one would be exposed if they bent over. The cut on the top is tight, could loosen this up? it is not the fifties any longer. However with that being said it has the potential of a great angle in the shoulder area if you are muscular. I like to lift weights!

My husband absolutely hates it when I wear my lulu stuff when I am not working out and with this dress I get the comfort of lulu without him getting upset. I was lucky to snag one in burgundy. Please make this dress in more colors other then black.

Made for 5ft 9 and under :( NOT FAIR for 5ft10& up
I LOVE this dress yet it is another product that is not made in tall. I thought because it was a dress I could get away with it..... sadly, NOT. I tried keeping my hands in the pockets to make it fit longer in the bodice but how do I go anywhere and function without my hands? I will do almost anything to pull off something cute, but can't figure out this one! I contacted headquarters to see is I could purchase a bit of material to make alterations but that was not an option. Uggggggggh!!!!!!!!!
Most of my friends are shorter than 5ft 9, so I would totally recommend this dress to them. Being 6ft is hard when you see cute items on LuLu and they are not in tall :/

This dress was unflattering on. The pleats didn't lay properly, the unfinished hem looks cheap and the stitching makes the seams pucker up and down the entire chest on both sides. The zipper feels cheap. The bottom half has so much material and it was too long. I am 5'2" and it went down to my knees. I felt like a frumpy old lady. I received two and they are going back. What a relief because they are far too overpriced. I really wanted to love this dress.

Great dress but $40.00 more then 3 months ago
This is my second review since the first one didn't go through. I wonder if this one...
Anyway the dress is great, awesome fabric, could be little bit longer (I am 5.6, 126lbs, got size 6). My husband bought this dress for me in a store since I can't make any purchases from lulu web side. My account was blocked because I sell MY (some old, some new) lulu clothes on ebay and they told me I was not allow to do that. Unfortunately with prices going up all the time that's what I have to do to buy new lulu clothes (plus I lost 15lbs so some of the clothes don't fit me anymore). This dress is the perfect example, $40.00 more then 3 months go. Why? Because fall is coming (that is an excuse given here)? Common lulu, seriously?
