Get It On Dress 3.7 5 12 12
Perfectly pretty dress I love this dress! Super comfortable, you can dress it up or throw it on after a workout. The pockets are perfect and I think the fabric feels soft. I love the back slit. I had it on with a hot pink sports bra/black shorties and I looked great. I might need to buy another one because I think I will wear this one out!! I do think it runs about a size big. I also think it would be short for tall gals. I'm only 5'3 and it fits me perfectly in length, but having said that it's super cute with yoga shorts under it. I would like this dress in black and white. Please Lululemon. August 8, 2014
Decent - could be improved - still wavering I was drawn to this dress based on the first model "street-shot" picture. - Straight cut, hi-lo styling is chic - UPF 50 fabric feels cool on the skin - $108 MSRP is pretty good for non-fast-fashion - cuffed sleeves look good; uncuffed gives you reflectivity - pockets!!!!! That don't bulge! Now that I've tried it, all of the above have proven true, but I'm not sure I'm keeping it: - the waist is cut too boxy and adds 3 sizes to me - even on the model the middle looks sloppy, rather than 60's mod (possible w/ a stiffer material, but then that'd be warm) - I'm still not sure about exposing my bra out and about, regardless Could the designer have used 2 slits inside of one gaping one? I mean, the end of the slit reaches my low waist. As you move about, just a small amount of twisting your torso makes the slit gape. Someone could look in by standing behind you. Sure, the back is sexy but you're not just near your partner when you bother to put on a dress such as this, right? I'm not against exposure but I try not to force my nakedness upon bystanders in everyday public situations. A top from earlier this season has a series of slits down the sides of the body. Combined altogether that might have even been more exposure, but it's limited by the short length of each individual slit. I think this dress would have been more versatile if there were even just one closure in the middle of the long slit. I'm always sweating, and so wearing something underneath to combat the nakedness would defeat the cooling purpose for me. And showing the bra is not an option for me outside. I think the model photos should be updated to show how this is worn on its own, i.e. full exposure - right now the close-up suggests there's an extra layer that you'd get with the dress. Yes, this would be "fun" for one's partner/mate but I imagine most of us purchase a dress like this because it's capable of dressing for certain situations. So, I'm just really torn about the slit compromising that. August 1, 2014
wide open back I just wanted others to be aware that the back of this dress has a long opening. I couldn't tell from the pictures but, my entire back showed through the opening. The fabric was nice and it fit TTS but, I'm not comfortable showing all that skin and I didn't want to have to wear a tank under it all the time. I'm returning. July 23, 2014
Best Travel Dress EVER! I just spent a week in Turkey, and British Airways lost my luggage. Thank goodness I wore my Lululemon Get It On dress on the plane! I wore it EVERY DAY a gazillion different ways. It went from daytime to night time, beach to mosque, and back again. Washed it at night, and it dried quickly. Can't recommend this dress enough. Lululemon - make more dresses like this!!! July 18, 2014
multi use dress, great fit This dress looked very chic and great on my body. I ordered my usual size 4 & wore it out for a birthday party w/some strappy ankle heels. The slit in the back seems out of place at first but it ultimately kept me cool the whole night. This dress looks good on women with curves. I'm 5'3" and have a curvy, muscular body and the fit was perfect. I would recommend to the curvier ladies. It is sort of on the short side so be careful bending down. June 22, 2014
Perfect summer dress I bought this dress to be my summertime throw on. I love it! The flexible fabric is cool and so refreshingly comfortable! Love the pattern, and it's clean lines. The open back is very sexy and easily distracts my husband. Love it! I feel great about bicycling around Montreal in this. June 21, 2014
Cute and functional! I had originally purchased this dress because I need more workout-to-happy hour type looks. I realize I was drawn to this dress so much because I actually already had one in my closet exactly like it! The print and fabric are great and the cut out in back looks super cute with an energy bra peeking out. The only thing to note is while the back is a very appropriate length, the front is slightly too short for my liking. I would have kept it but for the nearly-identical dress I already owned, so back it went for me. June 21, 2014
Great summer dress to keep you cool I was hesitant to purchase after reading some of the reviews, but I love this dress! The material is great. Keeps it structured so it doesn't look like workout gear, but feels like the rest of the moisture wicking fabrics. The slit in the back is great. I plan on wearing with a lacy bandeau exposed. My arms are usually too big for tops, but the stretch in the fabric allowed me to get a size that fit my body-- not just my arms. I did size down, but I liked it a little shorter and slimmer, and the arms and chest look slightly tigher than the model's fit. If you like it to fit like that, keep your regular size. Loving the &go clothes! It makes it easy to be comfy in Lulu and still acceptable to go out and about! June 18, 2014
Very flattering, mostly Cut: I have broad shoulders and the dress has a slimming cut through the neck and shoulders. The rest of the dress is pretty straight, so if you wanted a more fitted look, this does not fit the bill. The dress looks best with the sleeves rolled as in the first photo. I really like the length of the dress and that the back hem is lower than the front hem. But, the rounded corners make the dress look a little like a night gown instead of something to go out in. I like the slit on the back of the dress, yes, it is somewhat revealing, but not too revealing and makes the dress cooler on hot days. Fabric: The fabric is somewhat stiff, but still comfortable. The burlap color is more a navy-white than a black-white as in the photo. I have not washed the dress yet so I can't comment on how the material holds up. Fit: I wear a size 4 in Lulu dresses and the size 4 in this fits well. Overall, I think it's a nice dress for summer and the cut and pattern make it look more formal. June 15, 2014
Looks really cute on! I wasn't expecting to like this but it was very pretty on the body! It runs big so size down.fabric is great. It was a nice drape and is a great go to dress. I would probably have preferred that the back and front were the same length but it does add a bit if a designer edge. I also would have preferred the sleeve length to be shorter. June 15, 2014
