We wanted an all-sport short to keep us covered while we're doing squats, lunges and practising asana of every kind. We made these out of Luon fabric to have four-way stretch and to wick away moisture when we work up a sweat. A reversible design means getting dressed in the dark is a snap.

our signature Luon™ fabric is wicking and soft against your skin
the wide, smooth waistband won't dig in
stash your cards and keys in the hidden waistband pocket
the gusset is designed to keep your lady business comfortable
chafe-resistant flat seams help keep sweaty skin free from irritation
fit + function
designed for: yoga, cycling, volleyball, gym - everything!
This was my first ever Lululemon purchase. I was looking for shorts that I could wear for kickboxing that didn't ride up my legs when I moved. After wearing these shorts for 1 hour, I was extremely annoyed at how often they rode up on my leg and how often I had to discard my gloves to pull them back down my leg.
Judging by their return policy it looks like I have to keep them since I had to try them before deciding that they weren't for me.
Positive aspect of them is that aside from them riding up, they feel cozy, just sadly didn't meet my expectations.

I bought three pair of these. I'm not sure if all three are going back or maybe just a couple of them.
First, I LOVE the length and there are some super cute colors out right now. The rise is a little higher than the others, which I like.
Now...the bad. Camel toe. To be honest, I've never really focused on that before or really worried about it either. Perhaps that 's because I haven't had it with ANY of my other Lulus. I own about 15 pair of Wunder Unders, have several pairs of the In the Flow Crops and a couple of the running styles. Trust me when I say I know what size to buy and not to pull them up to my armpits. It could be that some people are prone to getting camel toe and others are not. But with these adorable shorts, it is Camel Toe City.
However, there is a solution, which is why I'm considering keeping at least one pair. A panty liner. If you wear undies, just attach it a little farther forward than you might otherwise. It did solve the problem for me. I just need to decide if I want to do that every time I wear them.
Lulu, please fix this problem. There is such a need for slightly longer/higher bottoms for those of us who are maybe a little older!

Holy Camel Toe!
I have been waiting for this short to come in different designs and textures and was delighted to see the heathered black. I ordered it online and when it arrived I tried it on and it felt really comfortable. UNTIL I looked in the mirror and saw the dreaded camel toe in full view. I see from the reviews that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Sadly I will be returning this item back to the store.

these feel amazing!
Picked these up in store yesterday. I love anything with the herringbone pattern so was thrilled to see these shorts. I usually wear a 6 in bottoms but did go up to an 8. Wore these to a class today and they stayed put and felt great!

Fit varies with fabric
I have purchased this short in three of the offered fabrics/colors. Two of the three fit and wear beautifully, one rides up and shows camel toe with a bit of movement (Wee Stripe Black/Heathered Black/Brisk Bloom Black Soot/Black). I purchase them for yoga and am very pleased with the two that work.
I absolutely love the Heathered Herringbone/Heathered Black White/White/Black pair for winter. The Herringbone is a thicker, loftier fabric that provides a bit of extra warmth.
I imagine the other colors with the plain black pant would fit and wear, on me, the same as the Black/Twiggy Printed Power Purple/Aquamarine pair that I purchased.

best purchase eve
I have 6 pairs of these shorts and i absolutely love them. I suggest if you are getting camel toe that you are hiking them up to high, or buying the wrong size! they are amazing :) I need more colors :) Please come out with more lulu

Love. No camel toe.
I was reading reviews on these shorts out of curiosity (I own 6 pairs I've collected over the past two years that I love.) I was surprised to see so many comments about camel toe. I immediately took out a pair of mine that has a diamond gusset and a pair with a triangle one - I never realized I had a difference until I read reviews.
Neither give me camel toe. UNLESS I pull them up extremely high, in which case, both do. I'm guessing people are pulling them up way too high?? let them sit naturally.
I adore these shorts. I crossfit and they give just the right coverage. The legs ride up if I run but I'm not a runner, just sprint occasionally if my workout of the day calls for it so I'm okay with yanking them down quickly if I have to.

Oh Ho!

Yep. These are THE shorts for Crossfit
Best shorts for CrossFit, hands down. Fit great, but not tight around the waist. Don't ride up. Not shear. Just excellent. I've tried Nikes, Reeboks, and Adidas but these just make all the other spandex I've worked out in over the years look like they didn't have a clue.
Bring back the brightly colored solids!!!!

great for dance
These shorts are perfect for dancing (I do ballet and contemporary). They are comfortable and I love the length, compared to the boogie short. These aren't so long that it looks weird but aren't so short my bum is falling out. They are tight enough to wear for ballet classes as well as in an emergency!
Flaws to an otherwise perfect pair of shorts; the dreaded camel-toe, which is common in dance shorts, and the stitching on the hem on the leg has started to come undone for some reason, which I find surprising for lululemon.
I prefer these shorts rather than the shorts from ivivva simply because these ones are longer.
With performance season coming soon, these are great for under costumes. I also suggest going to the stores to buy these because the waistbands are prettier.
Overall, I adore these shorts!
