Boogie Short *Full-On Luon (Roll Down)

Tight-knit and sweat-wicking with four-way stretch, this high-performance fabric gives incredible support and coverage with a cottony-soft feel

why we made this

When our yoga teacher cranks the studio's temperature way up, sweat stops evaporating. These high-rise shorts leave a lot of leg exposed so our sweat isn't trapped against our skin. Made of wicking and breathable fabric, they give us just enough coverage and we still have a place for our heel to grip in Tree Pose.

fabric + features

  • Full-On Luon® fabric is four-way stretch and sweat-wicking

Boogie Short *Full-On Luon (Roll Down) 3.5 5 23 23
my "go to" shorts I am shocked at all of the poor reviews on these shorts because I absolutely LOVE them! I prefer the roll downs over the originals, but I roll almost every pair of pants or shorts down regardless if they are intended to be or not. Perhaps that why I love these so much. The full-on luon is like butter and makes the shorts so comfortable. I own several pairs of each style, but did have to size up in the roll down. April 25, 2015
lost respect for lulu This is the third pair of bottoms from lulu I have bought in the last year that have pilled and looked like they are ten years old after having for less than a week.. i love the fit of these shorts but the material? absolute garbage! i washed these before i wore them and they came out of the wash completely pilled and looking like ive had them a million years...and i wash all my lulu separately! such a waste of money! I sadly will not purchase another pair of bottoms from lulu again unless the old material makes a come back! My new shorts from winners are 100 times better quality and a quarter the price! Extremely disappointed! April 23, 2015
Worst shorts ever. Save your money guys. Usually wear a size 4 but had to size up to a 6 which seems normal from other reviews. I previously owned a pair of Boogie Shorts and loved the pattern but they would ride up whenever I moved to much during my CrossFit workouts so I turned them into stay-at-home shorts until the seems started coming out which I then returned and exchanged them for the olive green roll down ones hoping that the Luon fabric would not made it roll up so much. These are worse then the last ones. Once I got them in the mail, I tried them on and immediately hated them. I give up on Lululemons shorts. March 27, 2015
Not life changing shorts. I was really excited to get these shorts because I wanted some tight shorts that did not ride up while doing yoga. Well that was a bust. I'm usually a size 2, but had to get a size 4 because they run small. The print is okay, but you can definitely tell it's stretched out when I wear them. However, the worst is that the bottom of the shorts roll-up. I had to keep rolling them down during my work-out. And when I wasn't working out (sitting and reading) they would roll up anyway. These are not functional in the least bit. They run too small and roll-up. I expect better from Lulu when I'm spending so much money. March 19, 2015
Not Up To Expected Quality I own several pairs of boogie shorts, but this pair enticed me because of the roll down feature and I loved the flower print. I tried them on at the store and although they felt good and comfortable. I wore them to my first workout today. First, they kept riding up so high, that they were equivalent to underwear length. It was extremely distracting and made my workout uncomfortable and dissatisfying. Out of all of the Boogie Shorts I own, none of them roll up, especially this bad. And the worst part is that when they would roll up, they have that unsightly awkward white color on the inside, that makes it even more obvious that they are riding up. It was extremely embarrassing. I have an athletic figure, so I know that it is not that my thighs are too big, but the shorts themselves. They also gave me this ugly unflattering crotch line, that I regretted buying this pair of shorts. Although they are lightweight, they were a burden to wear and be seen in. I wouldn't even wear them in the house because they ride up even when I'm walking. Very disappointed in the quality, especially since Lululemon always has me with high expectations due to their usually high quality clothing. I doubt I will buy another pair of Boogie Shorts again. much better than the boogie After years of really trying and wanting to like the original boogie shorts I am SO GLAD to try these and actually like them! They stay in place much better I guess bc of the higher waistband. I use them for weightlifting not yoga, so the extra coverage is so nice when I'm doing squats etc. while the boogies would drop down way too low! Love these; please make more colors! March 11, 2015
Nice look, good feel, but not fit any body type I'm 5'7 (128 lbs) and I normally wear 2, but I had to exchange these shorts for size 4 as the pattern in 2s looked stretched out. They feel and look good, the waist is nice, nothing is tight etc. My only complain is rolling up. Oh, so annoying. The do ride up in the back (and I should say again they are not tight at all on me), but I hope not enough to expose the bottom of my butt and they do roll up in the front, which I find even worse because the white wrong side of the shorts shows up. It doesn't happen all the time, but Warrior 1/2 and anything with similiar movements will cause it. I'm not returning them neither exchanging for a larger size just thinking that may be those with very lean hips and no butt might not have problems with it. I have other pair of boogie in full on luon which I think works a little better. May be its shorter in the front and thus they don't roll up so much. March 3, 2015
Yes and No I do love the fabric and how they cling to my body better than many other brands I have tried. However, they tend to bunch up in the crotch overtime. It isn't too horrible, just slightly annoying. I do have a question though: Why do you make the horizontal seam in the back so low?? It cuts off the top of my bum and leaves me feeling like I have less curves. I bet if you raised that horizontal seam, more women would feel as though their hard-earned curves were better showcased February 25, 2015
Oh so wonderful! I'm in love with these beauties! I am usually a size 6 in pants, but I size up to 8 for shorts when I do yoga because they still fit snug to my bum, but give a tiny bit of room around my waist and thighs for the more stretchier poses. The regular boogie shorts and hot hot shorts tend to give a bit too much room around the waist after a few washes and hang to dry, but these fit perfect rolled up or down. Some might feel they are a bit short, but for a petite one like me with no bum they are great. I did find them shorter than other regular boogie shorts, but it did not bother me. The stretch in the material is perfect for all poses and the garden party smooth silver pattern is so pretty for shorts! Maybe a bit much for pants, but I love them on shorts. Make more colors please!! February 24, 2015
More Please! I wear these every single day for HIIT and weights. I'm tall and high waisted so I keep the waistband up and they're perfect. The regular boogie shorts are too low for me. PLEASE keep bringing out more colors, Lulu! I'm 5'9", straight build, size 4 bottoms. I haven't experienced any sheerness, riding up or riding down. The last thing I want during an Insanity workout is to feel/be aware of my clothes, let alone have to stop and adjust my shorts. February 11, 2015
