What The Sport Short
Great running shorts
I sized up based on a few other reviews about tightness in the legs (my quads are a little bigger from running/weight training). The 6 in these shorts was perfect for me despite usually getting a 4 in crops. They rode up a little tiny bit while I did some hard speed work, but only a little at the start - once they got a bit sweaty they actually stayed put! They are extremely comfortable and the length is perfect: I don't feel like my upper thighs or butt are exposed but they're also not 90s-style, too-long shorts either. There's no muffin top, the waist band is very forgiving. And the true test? I sweat like a beast when I run and despite being very damp/downright wet at the end of my workout, the white/multi-colour pattern did not show any sweat marks! The fabric looks the same wet and dry and was not see-thru. Great purchase - glad I got these.

I bought these shorts because of the side pockets. These are the best shorts I've bought so far. The length is perfect so I don't have to worry about my booty showing at the bottom. And I love the pockets on the side. I'm obsessed with Lulu bottoms with side pockets so I can put my phone somewhere while working out without having to wear arm bands. I don't find the leg openings too tight at all, but I have larger hips and skinnier legs. I'm 5'7 and 135lbs. I always buy size 6 bottoms and these fit me true to size.

Great workout shorts
I recently started a new workout that is a lot of squats and lunges and my running shorts weren't ideal. But these shorts are perfect! I think the best part is the pocket on either side to hold my phone- and it doesn't fall out. The legs are a little tight so I can see why some people are uncomfortable with that but it works well for me. I'm a 6 in all Lulu gear and 6 in these as well, so I'd say they're true to size. And they make my butt look great!

booty enhancing shorts
Absolutely in-love with these shorts to the point of sweet talking my husband in to getting me a second pair as an early birthday present. The pockets are actually useful with no slip ups, very comfortable over all for either the gym or at home! I'll definitely be living in these all summer - thus why I need a second pair. The opening for the legs are a little tight, but the fabric is so stretchy that it wasn't a huge issue for me.
Definitely grab a pair while you still can!

perfect for getting my BQ!
These are the best running spandex shorts! I have tried so many brands (Nike, Adidas, Oiselle, Asics) in search of finding the perfect racing shorts for running. All the others seem to ride up and have no pockets! I purchased these last fall in preparation for the Philly Marathon and they were amazing. Over 26.2 miles they never road-up, amazing! All the pockets held my GUs & other essentials and everything was easy to access without breaking my stride! These were absolutely perfect on my marathon and I will be wearing them next year in Boston!

I'd buy another pair
As mentioned by others, the leg openings are tight. So I sized up one size and they fit perfectly. Problem solved. The pockets are great for running with my phone etc. and they don't seem to ride up at all once I'm sweaty. The fabric feels thicker than my older pair of LLL luxtreme capris which is great... no cellulite shows in these shorts :) I gave 5/5 because I will probably buy them again when I reach my next fitness goal.

I love these shorts. The waistband fits perfectly, they're stylish, the pockets are nice, and that's where it ends. I am a 4 in LLL and when these shorts arrived in the mail I was really excited. I tried them on the the darn legs were way too tight! They dug into my thighs! They are still okay to wear and I wear them, I just wish that they would make the thigh part bigger because it's very annoying.

I love these shorts so much that I just ordered another pair. After reading the reviews, I decided to I size up to an 8. I am regularly a size 6 or a 4 in lulu. Sizing up made all the difference in my waist and thighs (tightness referred to in the reviews). My legs are muscular but lean, and they fit beautifully. I love the thicker material they are made with and are perfect for a super sweaty Florida workout. They hold sweat and dry quickly...no dripping. The best part about these shorts are the pockets on each side that hold a cell phone perfectly. I feel comfortable enough in these to go to the grocery store/run errands.

your thighs will look like upside down muffins
I tried these on because I really wanted something in the bleacher stripe WHITE iris flower and was trying to get myself to like the black. i couldn't on many levels. The main being: you will get a reverse muffin top on your thighs - more like a muffin bottom. I am 5'3" and 110 lbs and these make me look like my body fat index is through the roof!
Going up sizes won't solve the problem, because then the waist is too big and they won't stay up.
Also the print is just not nearly as pretty as the white version for yoga gear. Lulu, please make some loose shorts or if making tight clothes, please make pants in the bleacher stripe/white iris flower print! This just looks too insect-like! It feels like a poor second option for runners, and you like your yogis better.

Mehhhh I want to like them
Firstly - I am always a 4 in LLL bottoms, 0/2 in tops, 6 in sports bras. Always. HOWEVER, in these shorts I needed a 6. Do not kid yourself thinking you can order your TTS in these, unless you're a runner or have big hips and comparatively small legs. I have a small waist, average hips, and muscular legs for my size. I do not expect all women to have my waist to quad/ham ratio. This does not mean, however, that I expected the sizing in these to be so strange.
It is as if LLL expects you to be shaped like a frog - teeny tiny in limb and thick in the body? I caved and got a 6, regardless of my reservations over the sizing, because I was obsessed with the pockets and like the idea of the length (not so long as to be unflattering, but not so short as to have my booty fall out during leg day.) That being said, they're loose in the waist and tight in the thigh. I didn't think this would end up being such a problem. But it is so much so, that they can give me a muffin top on my legs when they ride up (because they absolutely do). I have to express - I do not have fat on my thighs to be making a thigh-muffin top out of.
I love LLL, and I love the idea of these shorts. Longer than my butt-crease? Pockets? No liner? Wide waist band? WOOOO! The idea of these shorts makes me want to buy 100. The execution makes me cringe. Perhaps this is simply the way my body is shaped (which I honestly do not think is the case as two other prominent sportswear brands make shorts which I do not have this issue with), either way - I strongly recommend trying them on before buying and plan to try a size up.
