Tracker Short II *2-way Stretch
Awesome Run Shorts
I love these shorts. They are perfect as running shorts. They are long enough to reduce any inner-thigh chafing, without being too long for a running short. I have three pairs in various colours/patterns and think they are so cute that I usually wear them as a summer short, and conveniently don't have to change when I go for my run. I have relatively lean and muscular legs, and do not find them to be too baggy, although if you prefer tight shorts or short shorts than these may not be for you. I find them to be the perfect fit for running in high temperatures, they are so breezy! The waistband is also very comfortable, and if you hang dry them as I do the band maintains it's shape. I usually wear a size 4 in Lulu pants because I often find the fabric stretches after a few washes, but I take a size 6 in shorts and my usual 6 fit great and has stayed that way.
Side note: I have tried to wear them to hot yoga and they did not work as the material does not have much give and often restricted my movement until I pulled them up.

Good staple short in your workout wardrobe. The only reason why I got these though is because they came out in a really pretty watercolor print, otherwise I would have gone for the 4-way, luckily the 4-way has a really pretty yellow color that I'm gonna buy! Great CrossFit shorts with nice coverage if you don't like the Speed Shorts.

I do not like my legs, but I really wanted to get a pair of shorts for this summer. I decided to give these a try and actually found that I LOVE my legs in these. I am 5'6 140 lbs, have very strong legs, and purchased size 8....I think I could have gone down to a 6 without any issue. I purchased the inky floral first and then went back to purchase the wheezy check. They are supper adorable and I can't wait to wear them more! I did not feel any threads or anything that would cause alarm on these shorts. They are supper cute, grab them before they are gone!!

My go-to shorts for CrossFit
I have 5 pairs of these shorts. The first 3 pairs I bought early last summer and one pair did have the pokey things in the waist, which I removed and they are better but still feel scratchy. My solid black pair I purchased last summer have faded quite a bit and they are now significantly lighter than the waistband, not super happy about that but I still wear them. My two newest pairs seem to be fine in the waist band department, I guess time will tell!
As far as fit goes, my typical size 6 (5'7" and 135 lbs, pear shape) fits great. They are great for doing crossfit in, good unrestricted movement but decent coverage for squats and ab mat sit ups. I love the liner inside, doesn't budge and eliminates any wedgie problems. Overall, I will keep buying this style.

Shorts are great, but...
OK, I really really love these shorts EXCEPT the reviews about the fishing line-like material poking out of the waistband is no joke. If it weren't for that, I would gladly say they are the best shorts in the history of shorts! Hopefully Lulu finds a way to make them with a different material to eliminate that issue because that plasticy string poking out of the waistband really ruins a great pair of shorts. The saddest part is that I bought them before I moved overseas. So now I am out of the country with two pair of shorts that I can't return and an itchy feeling waist. Super bummed about that.

Great shorts for strong legs!
I love these shorts! My first pair about 6 months ago did have the waist band pokey things. I clipped the pokey things out, and they have not come back. The last 2 pairs have not had the pokey things. If you are looking for a short that is flattering on strong thighs and tush get these. Heck...not all of us have size 2 legs, so I am glad Lulu made these.
One recommendation I would give would be to raise the waist band up, making it lay higher on the waist, so it stays on our midsection. I size up, I am a 4-6, but I get an 8 on these shorts...I am 5''6 and 140 lbs with muscle. I size up to be sure my legs get freedom during squats. Only problem is I can't seem to keep the waist up, and after having babies my tummy still needs some coverage.
All that being said, I like these best over all the other short options at Lulu....if you don't have stick legs get these!

these shorts get a bad rep. these are hands down my favorite running shorts. I have 4 pair btw the 2-way and 4-way and have never dealt with the waistband issue. the shorts hold up and look cute post run too. my only wish is they would make better/more colors. not a fan of the prints

I love these shorts. I'm 5'11" and they are a great fit!! I trail and do boot camp in them. Totally great fit and style. Love how the waistband hugs & hides my muffin top :). PLEASE MAKE MORE IN HOUNDSTOOTH!!

Thankfully I bought these before I read the reviews (came here to buy a second pair! bought the first pair in-store) or I wouldn't have bought them. I became paranoid of the plastic-pokey things that everyone keeps talking about but haven't had a problem yet. After washing I've been hanging dry and so far so good! I LOVE these shorts. I've always had a problem with built in underwear riding up and these have been amazing. They look great too. I had to wear them to pick my son up at school once (as a rule, I don't wear work out gear except to work out in) and every single person I knew told me how fabulous I looked (maybe I should change my stance on workout gear!). Not that I feel the need to lose weight, but if a product is going to make me look great and have people gawk at my butt- these are worth every penny!

another vote against on the waistband
Count me among the many lulu loyalists that wants to buy more of these but can't because of the waistband issue. Like a previous reviewer, I'm tired of the generic customer service responses to complaints that lulu has obviously heard over and over again and being treated like I'm the only one every time I have a problem. I agree that there's no substitute for providing quality control the first time - not even a more flexible return policy.
I don't get why this hasn't been fixed which in my book is another mark against lulu beyond the initial waistband problem. Just how long does it take to stop the current assembly line and start a new process? How can you continue to sell products you know are faulty? I think they're cruising for another lawsuit.
Though I really wish I could get another pair thanks to the great colors these shorts are coming out in, I keep remembering how mindless this company must think we are. You're not just losing buyers for this item, you're losing customers altogether.
Not buying another pair of these until there's some kind of statement made - either in the description of the item or elsewhere - that the company is willing to admit the problem and has come up with a revised, fixed, version.
