Tracker Short II *4-way Stretch 4.3 5 62 63
One of my favorites I've purchased several pairs of these and I really like them for my more "athletic" legs. Nice length, I've never had a problem with the waistband poking. However, I have one pair I bought late summer that the waist band is starting to bunch and roll oddly. It has nothing to do with the drawstring so I'm not sure what the culprit is. I can still wear them but they aren't as comfortable, so this really bums me out for a $60 pair of shorts. The pattern isn't available any longer and I particularly like it so I'm not sure what to do with them. January 24, 2015
Love these shorts! I just bought the coal swirl, black shorts. I love them. I did not find any issues with the waist band. They are so comfy. I just did a x train class and they were great. No hiking, bunching, pulling, nothing. I would like to see more colors in the 4 Way stretch though. I wear a size 4, and these fit fine. Looser fitting though. January 17, 2015
favorite shorts! These are by far my absolute favorite shorts that I own! The 4 way fabric has the right about of give in all directions. These are my go to shorts for running, CrossFitting, squatting, or just running errands. January 12, 2015
athletic yet fashionable Awesome pair of shorts!!! Can't wait for new styles for spring and summer!! I love these shorts they are so versatile i'm able to wear them when I work out, run and teach. I teach Phys Ed. so I am able to get away with wearing a nice athletic pair of shorts. January 7, 2015
DIDN'T FIGURE IT OUT!!! I have had these shorts for a while now and never felt compelled to write a review about them until I read the one from the Messiah-I mean the person claiming to have "figured out" the pokey things. For reference, I am 5'6", 150 pounds, always a size 8 in lulu bottoms. I like the compression better of some size 6 running pants but I don't need the world to see my butt through those too sheer fabrics. Personally, I haven't experienced the pokey things, but I am going to go out on a limb here and say don't size up just to make up for Lulu's poor quality! I have these shorts in an 8 and I find that they are kinda baggy in the crotch (see the pic-I'm not packing). This problem would only be worsened by sizing up. My problem with the fit is that it seems the waistband is smaller than the fabric it attaches to, if that makes sense, causing the bagginess. If you wear a longer shirt it isn't noticeable though. I don't like to run in most running shorts because I have big soccer player thighs that sometimes chaffe when I run. These are a bit longer than the Speeds so I don't have that problem, but that said I would not recommend a long sweaty run with these. I went on training run for my first ultra and after about 12 miles the fabric had wrinkled and started to rise up, causing the unbearable chaffing. I ended up waddling home! These shorts are fine for lifting; the four-way stretch makes for unrestricted squatting and cleaning. They are fine for shorter, faster runs. And they look cute (minus the saggy crotch!). But for $54 they aren't anything special. I do like how they don't have the underwear showing gap that the Speed shorts have though, but again for the price I'd expect that. Anyway, my advice is to stick with your usual size. Your pants shouldn't be out to stab you or make you feel like you've put on weight! December 8, 2014
I FIGURED IT OUT I have figured out the pokey things every person who comments complains about. I have at least 10 pairs of these shorts and the 2-way stretch. I live in these shorts, they are amazing and wonderful and love everything about them. Then I got really sick and stopped working out for at least a month, when I put on my trusted shorts, I finally felt the mysterious pokey things everyone had complained about. I thought everyone was NUTS but figured it out. I had GAINED WEIGHT AND NOW I FELT THE POKEY THINGS. When I lost the weight, they fit me perfectly again. GO UP A SIZE. It's just a number. It does not define you. These shorts fit better a size bigger. It's not worth the price of these shorts if you are too concerned about the number you buy. Go up one size = no pokey things If pokey things appear = you are now a bigger size The pokey things occur when you literally stretch the fabric so much that the elastic is coming out of it, that is not a good fit. so_disappointing I also have experienced the issue with the waistband having threads that poke me in the waist. It has made my workouts miserable. I've returned the shorts and am waiting for a credit but by gosh, when are you going to figure out what is causing this and correct it? I am anxious to buy a new pair, but don't want the same hassle. The only shorts I wear to workout I've been shopping at Lululemon for a few years now, and I always hated how their workout shorts were typically short and tight. I have an athletic build and I feel comfortable with a looser fit around the thighs. If you are the same way, these shorts are made for you! I'll be honest, I've bought three of these and I constantly have to do laundry because these are the only athletic shorts I wear. Perfect for cardio, weights, and just running errands. They are unmatched. I never write reviews for anything, but I want people to know how amazing these shorts are. Stop hesitating and buy them!! November 9, 2014
Lovely flattering shorts but waistband 'bites' These shorts provides a flattering yet modest fit for those of us who work out and have quads/thighs. I still love my speed shorts but these have a longer coverage and the waistband sits nicely on the waist (not too high nor low, just right). I bought a second pair recently in curious jungle print because they are SO CUTE AND PRETTY. But I got the same plastic threads that pokes me on my left belly issue. It hurts and i have to tuck my top in to prevent the 'bite'. I love the shorts so much though! The previous tracker did not have this issue. November 4, 2014
Would have at least three more if they make size 2 I own a pair of Tracker short from a year and half ago, and I just love it. I wear it all the time. With the new colors out, I would have gotten the pretty inky floral, rocky road and manifest fuel green as well. However, I could not, because you guys don't make/let size 2 come any more. Why? Don't you see small girls like Tracker shorts as well. By the way, your smallest size (4) would fit me at the waist, but the huge leg opening almost look like short skirt. November 4, 2014
