Run: Speed Short *4-way Stretch
saggy and nearly pornographic :(
I wanted to love these shorts. Highly recommended by the Crossfit community I jumped on a pair of jungle print during WMTM in September.
My go to shorts are the Reebok Core - a similar style to LLs speed shorts. Sadly, these LLs are defective, unwearable in public and cannot be returned.
Defect: The back of the shorts is extremely baggy (think: like a little tutu) - it seems where the vents are, on the right hand side they were improperly stitched which causes the fabric to flare out in that area and show under-butt skin (see photo of the gap)
Where is the stretch? These shorts are so wide in the legs and baggy in the butt that any inverted positions causes the material to slide down revealing even more under-butt. My only savior was the built in liner :(
Comparing my shorts to other speed 4-ways they are clearly not the same item at all.
Crossfire and yoga shorts they are clearly not

Favorite crossfit shorts!
I like the way i can move in these shorts while working out the most! I am 5"2' about 115 lb and i wear a size 4, which works for most of the 2 way stretch, but in the 4 way, they tend to sag which bothers me...

Love Love Love
I wear these shorts both running and weight lifting and really love the way they fit on my waist. They do not slide and I never have to adjust them, and no akw. bunching in the front.
When buying speed shorts check whether they are two or four way stretch. I find I like the fit better for a 2 if they are four way stretch and 4 if they are a 2 way stretch. Just my two cents. :)
I'm 5'3, 26' waist, and 115 lbs. I tend to wear lululemon size 2 or 4.

Make more please!
I love these shorts, I have 3 pairs already. Can you make more size 4's in boom juice?? I've been to every store in my city and check online because I love the colour.

Quality control with sizing :(
I have been supporter of lulu for a decade now, however I am getting more and more frustrated like many of your reviewers, with the sizing of control issues. Why should a size 6 fit like a 4 or a 4 that fits like a bigger size continue to happen? Or that the bum fit or length is different in the same short just a different pattern or colour? I find this happening more in these speed shorts than anything else.
I do not live in a centre where there is a lulu store so I have to shop on-line mostly, which I do at least once a week. It is beyond frustrating when I can no longer count on the company to send out properly sized items in a style they have had forever! I love this short and own over 10 pairs, but the last 4 or 5 months the sizing has been so inconsistent for someone who is consistently a 6 top and bottom in lulu (5'8 and 130 lbs) Can you explain how this happens for some shorts but not others? I have never had so many issues with having to return items that use to be a sure fire bet of good fit. Frustrating when your product is not cheap ... which I am okay paying for if the fit stays consistent and the quality stays high!

These make all legs look amazing
Up until I discovered speeds I avoided short shorts. After the first try on I realized the detailing and fun patterns pull the attention off my legs and onto the shorts. These have been fun to collect through the years as the colors and patterns keep changing. The four-way stretch ones are more forgiving if you find yourself doing more activity than just running. Great for day to day wear as well here in Tampa FL where it is generally hot outside.

Boom Juice-Horrible design flaw/defect
Sadly, changes have been made to these shorts and they aren't good. (Where is the qualify control??). I purchased these in "boom juice" which is beautiful vibrant color. I was so excited when I first put them on, because contrary to other reviews, they fit the same as all my other 4-way stretch speed shorts, the leg openings weren't wider and the bum wasn't saggy. And then I caught a glimpse of my bum in the mirror and to my horror, it appeared that an additional, unnecessary inner "seam" had been added to the design and even worse, something else was giving the rumply appearance of a shirt tucked into the shorts! Upon inspection, the problem is that there is 2 inches of extra fabric above the stitches that create the vent holes. And the fabric falls down causing what looks like a seam across the bum and because the material is so thin, the extra fabric sort of rumples up! I tried to pulling the material up but it just falls right back down and it looks awful. Unlike the other review, the stitch isn't too low, causing the rear end to sag, the stitch is just right, the problem is that piece of fabric is too big or they forgot to trim it down after stitching it in.

My favourite exercise shorts
I first bought these in black. I find the short length flattering and amenable to any sort of workout without showing too much. I run, do boot camp, TRX and even hang out in them. I love these so much I have since bought 3 more - another black to replace my first one, a blue and now this floral ghost bumbleberry/inkwell which is the most beautiful print - as good in real life as on the screen. These are my favourite all-round exercise shorts! I am 5'4", 119 lbs and I wear a 6.

I am 5'7, 130 lbs and got the size 6. Very comfy, no chaffing during my runs, and I agree the fabric is very breathable.
I have a 30 in inseam and the shorts are a little shorter than I would like, but meh, still love them anyway. I'll try a 4' inseam short next time. I got the cool Japanese star print (which they don't seem to have anymore) and I love it! I think the bumbleberry print isn't flattering, which sucks because it's so pretty to look at but when I put them on...yeah not so cute. I second the vote for more solid colors as well as more fun prints.

Love! but market wrong?check your tags!!
I absolutely love these shorts, when I tried them on it seemed like the 4 was a little big, but I figured they might shrink. When I went home I realized after I ripped off the tag that the tag on the outside said size 4, but the inside tag said size 6, which explains why they seem so big. I'm concerned that they will be too loose now when I am running, but can't return them because the tags are ripped off..
