They are OK for the first 5 minutes of a run....
Alright Lulu,
I have been on the hunt for another pair of crops since I purchased my first pair 2+ years ago...now those were quality crops! They held me in and kept everything tight for my long distance runs/ high intensity sprints. They were thick enough to wear in the cooler fall and spring months without feeling like the wind was whipping through to my underwear...
So I thought I could be this fortunate again with my recent purchase from Lulu, silly me.
I bought the Run: Inspire Crop II and wore them out for a short 3-5K run, well they only felt snug and held their shape for about the first kilometer, after that it felt as if I was wearing a pair of old leggings.
-They have very short-lived compression (their shape and compression stretches out with any sort of use almost immediately)
-They are VERY thin ( I could absolutely feel the wind on my butt and it felt like it was going right through the pant)
-And sadly the seams on the lower part of the leg near my calf have started to unravel. This area has zero friction!! Why?!
After Spending $86 on these crops I am very disappointed and will have to make the 2 hour trek back to the closest store, or pay the return shipping.
I would really like a return to the old quality material/style so that this kind of customer dissatisfaction is a non-issue

Random Holes in Fabric
I used to love these crops, they fit great and I can use them for both running and yoga. I work as a personal fitness trainer and can also use them while walking around and training at work.
About a week ago I noticed that there was a hole in my most recent pair, which I purchased several months ago. It wasn't in a seam, but was on upper thigh, or quad. I was really upset, so I took the crops back to the store.
The sales person I spoke with was very condescending and said that they were athletic pants, which meant they shouldn't just be "worn around". At $86 a pop, I expect to be able to wear these crops for virtually anything! She also said that since it wasn't on a seam she couldn't do anything about it. I have always taken good care of my lulu crops, washed and hung to dry, etc. and it baffles me that they would just spring a hole!
Needless to say, I will not be getting another pair and am going to be looking around for another favorite pair of crops. I will also not be recommending these pants to any of my clients any longer.

See-Through and Stinky!
The reviews say it all...these really are ridiculously sheer. I try to pair them with thong underwear that is less likely to show through, but especially in the bum area, whoever is working out behind you can see it all! They are not slimming nor do they assist with compression; it is more like wearing pantyhose.
On top of that, I find that they stink...I am constantly washing them. I didn't have that problem with the Wunder Under's, however those are now only available in heinous colours so holding off from buying another pair of them.

Sheer!
Loved the fit of these pants, but had to return them. I brought them home to try them on in better lighting, and realized they are sheer. I got the black ones and tried them on with a black thong and you could clearly see the tag and underwear with any bending. For $86, I guess you can?t get pants that you can run in AND squat in. Ridiculous. Even the girl at the store said, ?If you do anything besides running, they will be sheer with bending.? I tried sizing up, but the next size was big in the waist, so the size isn?t the problem. If you get these, wear a long shirt!

Good But...
I do love these pants for running although I feel like they can't be worn to the gym since the butt is see through! The material is really light which is great for running but when it comes to squats try a different pant!

too sheer for me
I remember when I bought these, the sales person asked me if I was a runner. I'm not but planned on wearing them to Pilates and Cross Fit because I didn't want extra fabric getting in my way. And I loved them until I heard someone in gym talking about Lulu running pants being sheer. Yes, I froze! Could they have been sending me a message?! I went home and I did all sorts of tests, bending this way and that and yes, they are too sheer for me. I was a huge Lulu fan but I'm now more cautious on Lulu pants. Sorry Lulu, but I feel so embarrassed.

Stuffed Sausage
I am a thin woman. 5' 10" 120 pounds. I ordered these online. Wow. My behind and upper legs look like a stuffed sausage - lumps and all. I have had loads of capris and yoga pants but nothing quite looks like these. Fabric seems super thin and I think is part of the problem. Yes these are going back....and the fact I have to pay for return shipping is irritating. I should have listened to the other reviewers. I am just too far to easily shop in store.

Dont tie your shoes in these!
i finally broke down and decided to try these pants ... got home, tried them on in better lighting and they were completely see thru in daylight (could see the tags through the material) ... i took them back to the store - the woman told me that you arent actually supposed to bend over in that type of pant (WHAT??!), and that i needed them in a larger size (basically it was my fault that they were see thru) despite the fact that the "pants specialist" had put me in that size and told me the 4 was too large. Not worth the money for a pair of pants i cant even bend over to tie my shoelaces in! If you make a mistake - own it... dont blame it on your customers.

Pleasantly Awesome
I tried the Inspire Crop II because I needed a pant to transition into for Spring running. I am used to wearing another brand that is uber compressive, and was unsure about the feel and fabric of these crops. However, after several runs I've found them comfortable, flattering, and effective at keeping 'chub rub' at bay. Plus, I don't feel like I'm wearing a girdle!

Sheer, cheap, give me a break here.
I have been trying so hard with lululemon. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt on their steady decline of quality. Trying over and over to find new items that I like. After these, I am officially done with lululemon.
I am assuming that they think that we are stupid, and will not notice their insane lack of quality. I bought two pairs of these, one in the wee stripe, and one in solid black. First off, there is ZERO compression with these whatsoever. They stretch out during a run. Secondly, the sheerness, especially in the black, is borderline insane. These things are like pantyhose level sheer. I returned the black, and kept the wee stripe, because they were not sheer, but, get this, the colors don't have the mesh behind the knees! Look at the photos. You can clearly see it. We are expected to pay close to $100 for running crops that Lulu can't even design consistently. Also, after 4 wears during 3-5 mile runs, the seams are coming out!!!!
I used to be proud to wear lulu items, but, now, I am ashamed. It's almost laughable to think that people out on the trail with me in their department store running clothes don't have to worry about these things. Save yourselves some time ladies, go to Athleta. These pants, and everything Lulu has recently been releasing, are just junk.
