Wunder Under Pant *Full-On Luon
Wunder under pant
I have a lot of Lulu merchandise but the quality of these pants were extremely poor. They stretched and had terrible pilling after the first few wears even after having followed Lulu washing/air drying directions. For the money spent I am very disappointed.

I've heard about lululemon from friends for a long time. So about a month ago I decided it was time to finally give in and give them a try! One of my friends said she's had a pair of her pants for years, so I figured it was worth the hefty price tag! At first I was in love with my first pair of Wunder Unders and they fit me like a glove. After the second time wearing them they were stretched out so big and I constantly had to pull them up which is totally frustrating when you're trying to exercise! I thought I may have gotten a size too big or something. Then a week or so ago I noticed that the stitching had come undone on the bottom of the pants! I washed them properly and followed the care instructions exactly. I'm very upset that paid so much for such poor quality pants. They definitely don't live up to the hype.

I love the feel of the fabric - so nice and thick. However, I'm very sad that after a couple of washings following Lululemon's directions, they pill up (see picture). I want to purchase more pants but am concerned about the fabric pilling again. Is this normal?

Beware of Altering
My wunder unders were my first lulu purchase. They were all everyone was talking about so I thought, hey let me give them a shot! I wore them twice before hearing about lulus free altering so I immediately went to get them hemmed (they were a bit long on me). The sales associate had me try them on so she could pin them at the area I wanted them to end at. When I went back to lulu the following week to pick them up I held them up and they looked fine so I thought nothing of it. When I put them on a few days later they were basically crops! Safe to say that was not what I had wanted. Im a very upset customer now because my 82.00 leggings are now useless (not a fan of the awkward length on me). All I can say is that you need pay attention if you get them altered. Dont get me wrong, most lululemon stores have fantastic customer service, i just wish i had gone to one of those for my hemming. It's now money out the window on a pair of leggings I had really enjoyed when I had first purchased them.

I finally invested in a pair of the famed wunder under pants. I loved the fit, and the design, but within a couple weeks they began to pill on both sides. I was so disappointed! I love how they fit, but couldn't be more frustrated by the poor quality. Definitely not what I would expect from lululemon.

my first lulu pant
I have several pairs of Run Inspire crops and love them. I teach spin classes and those crops are pretty much the only thing I can wear and sweat a ton in without feeling like I jumped in a pool afterwards.
However, when I was in my local lulu the other day, a pair of these were on sale in the print I had been eyeing for months. So I bought them...I was hesitant to wear them to spin because the material is much thicker than the Run Inspires. I was also worried that they would fall down/not stay on my hips for the whole ride because I'm between a 6 and an 8, and they only had an 8 in stock.
Well...I taught an hour long class this morning and they were PERFECT! Stayed in place, were comfy, and after the workout I didn't feel all sweaty.
My only complaint is that I wore them a few days before I worked out in them and one of the seams started to come undone...a loose thread was hanging. Kind of annoying since I just wore them around the house and this happened. But I know lulu will gladly fix them if I take it back!

Honestly, this is the first time I have ever written a review. I read them all the time, whatever I am researching, but have not felt the need to take the time to add my opinion until now.
I have been a devout yogi for over 12 years and a Lululemon fan for almost as long. I still have one favorite tank that is going on 7 years young that is just now showing it's age. It has washed & worn to perfection.
My concern seems to be with the recent rash of negative comments regarding Wunder Unders. I began wearing these glorious pants years ago. I wear them to work, run errands and always at hot yoga. Along with many of my peers, I strayed during the "sheerness" years and bought another brand. You can't blame us, really. However, no one else does it as good as Lululemon and I patiently waited and kept checking the web site for new products/materials.
Last year, I purchased my first pair of Full-on Luon Wunder unders. LOVE. THEM. It's like wearing the softest buttery material that glides on, handles the sweat, cools quickly & looks brand new wash after wash. Not only have I purchased 2 pair of capris with this fabulous fabric in the past month, I've also introduced my 16 year old daughter to the gloriousnesss that is Lululemon.
In all my years, purchases & workouts, never has a seam unraveled or have I experienced the quality issue of piling.
For any of you that are on the fence or wondering if these are worth the investment, I can't recommend it more. The sheerness issue has been resolved with the Full-on Luon & I speak from a 3time a week hot yogi perspective. You will want to live in these pants and may end up comparing everything else to this quality, as I have found myself doing countless times in dressing rooms all over Texas.
These opinions are all mine & unsolicited. Trust me, you won't regret a penny spent on items from Lululemon. It's worth it.

Oh where, oh where did my Lululemon go?
I have been a longtime Lululemon believer...converted so many friends to the reasoning that it can make sense to invest in a $100 pair of pants. But I am so sad to say that the quality has noticeably deteriorated.
I went in to replace my well-worn 3 year old Wunder Unders and to may great disappointment, I discovered that the material makeup of the pants has changed...the main difference I noticed is that the material is thinner. I experienced sheerness and didn't feel the same hug that my old classic Wunder Unders provided.
I never thought the day would come, but I sadly left the store without buying the pants I intended to replace and instead went over to Athleta to buy their Chaturanga style pants (the closest thing to the good old Wunder Unders)...still not as good but better than anything I could buy in the current Lululemon.
Lululemon, please go back to doing what you did so well. This loyal customer wants to return.

not satisfied at all.
i spent quite a bit of money on these pants because the fabric was originally probably the best of all leggings and yoga pants that i've ever worn. i'm also a big fan of the fit of these pants. however, the reason i'm leaving this review is because i'm experiencing major pilling and seam unraveling in my wunder unders. this is making me very upset especially because i expected these pants to last longer for such a high price. i haven't had these pants for more than 6 months and they're already falling apart. with such bad pilling, the fabric that i originally fell in love with is no longer soft looking and the flat seams that originally gave the pants a flawless look have threads sticking out and is completely gone in some places. i really hope that this problem is addressed and fixed right away so i can go back to loving lulu.

Everyone in my class had them and the scuba hoodies were everywhere but i couldnt afford that back then. I was so excited to get my first pair of lululemon pants. That i got two pairs. The fit was amazing and the sales staff were so helpful i felt so happy after i went home with them.
Then after a few weeks of wearing them a few threads were coming loose i thought it would be alright. Then they were fuzzy around the croach and inner legs. If you pay 100$ for a pair of quality pants this isnt the result your expecting. Plus at the counter the women cut my tag off my pants and i was like what if i want to return them well now i can't. i don't think i will buy anything from that lululemon store on st-denis anymore.
I wouldnt recomend getting a pair even if you have the money.
