Skinny Will Pant *Full-On Luon
Wanted to like these but...
I live in an area without a store (much to my chagrin), but found the "regular" Luon Skinny Will pant at a Partners store and loved them (all except the color). Thinking "Full on Luon" would be better, I made the mistake of ordering these online and was greatly disappointed. The full on Luon material is so much stiffer, they weren't even comfortable to try on... I couldn't imagine running in them. I am an average size and body shape (size 8) and the waist and crotch just fit very weirdly. I didn't do a sheer test since there was not much point - they were going back no matter what.

wanted to love....
I got a pair of regular luon skinny wills in a size 4 in black and have been so pleased with them. I snoozed on inkwell and have been regretting it ever since. When these came out in inkwell in full-on luon, I was so excited to give these a go. When I tried them on in a size 4, I could see right through the pants with the bend test. I sized up to a 6 and it was loose at the top. I know there's a draw string, but I missed the compression and fit of the 4s I had grown accustomed to in this style. PLEASE bring back the inkwell in the original luon, I would buy them in a heartbeat! I have to keep sizing up to accommodate this full-on luon and it's leaving me with a loose waist!

favorite yoga pants
These are my first pair of Full-on Luon pants I ever bought because I was so skeptical from the negative reviews and ratings about sheerness. I decided to finally give them a try and I am happy I did. The pants are not sheer whatsoever. They are very comfortable and stylish and I love the high-rise option. Great fit and great buy!

more stiff and less stretchy
I got a black skinny will from last year 2012 and I loved that one. And the one from last year is still in good condition so I compared this full-on luon one with the one I got last year. They are both black and of the same size 6, so it's easier to compare. So after comparing them on my body, I think I don't like this full-on luon one as much as the one I got last year. This full-on luon one is more stiff and less stretchy, so it doesn't hug my hip area and crotch area well (but the size is not an issue, it's the stiffness of the fabric), while the old one from last year was hugging my hip and crotch areas very well. They both are of the same thickness. And I am sure the size is not an issue. So I returned the full-on luon one. I regret not buying more of the old one last year......
I feel that this full-on luon fabric is knitted so tightly that it is lacking stretchiness. Why can't you make something that is stretchy but also thick enough not to be see through at the same time?

She's not crazy; these are sheer
I've been a happy customer for several years and I was willing to give Lulu a second chance after their fabric issues, so I was really hoping the first reviewer with her photos of crazy sheer pants was wrong, or that she was just wearing the wrong size.
So I ordered these and the Skinny Groove in the new Full-On Luon material, and at first I was pretty happy with both, as they passed the downdog test in my bathroom. But after another reviewer mentioned child's pose, I tried it in sunlight, and low and behold (!), both pairs were suddenly every bit as sheer as the first reviewer's photo indicated. I could read the tags.
For reference, I'm 5'8," 123 pounds, and do power yoga regularly. I was wearing a size 6, which is slightly generous on me, as I wear size 4 jeans. I have several other Lulu size 6 pants, and I tested these against a pair to double check. They absolutely stretch to be more sheer than the old pants.
I don't think I'd be as annoyed if the founder of Lululemon hadn't said last week that "some women" just can't wear his pants. I guess from now on "some women" is me. :(
Better try a crow or child's lose, just in case it's you, too.

I am very happy with this purchase. I love the fit and the material, they are not sheer at all, i even try them with white underwear and nothing shows. I order my regular size 6. Thanks.

Love, Love, Love!
I love these! I've never been too fond of how wunder unders look on me (I think its because my ankles are quite small so they make my thighs look bigger), but the Skinny Wills are tight all the way down but loose and bunchy around the ankles so they are really flattering! I also love the pockets, i can put my phone in one and keys in the other and dont have to worry about only being able to fit one in the small waistband pocket like other lululemon pants.
The full on luon is thick, so I really feel like I'm wearing pants and not leggings. In regards to sheerness, mine are not sheer at all, it all depends on getting the right size. Don't be afraid to size up if you need to, these pants have a drawstring at the waist so you can tighten it if need be. My last pair of lulus was the Tadasana pant, and I've been looking for something similar and i found these and i'm in love!

I bought these last week, stoked to try out the new luon. I'm usually a size 2 in pants, but find the size 4 at Lulu is most comfortable for me. I weight about 125 and have fairly small hips/bum - if I go up another size, the waist becomes too large. Got these home and gave them the good ol' child's pose test - holy cow can you see right through them! I'm so disappointed to see all the comments about how the new full-on luon is much thicker and not the least bit sheer. Needless to say I returned them right away, which is pretty disappointing since they were incredibly comfy and super soft. Can't say I'm too confident in buying anymore Lululemon...

These are thick and cottony soft- opaque with compression; not sheer. I received the black skinny grooves and these feel softer and thicker. Nice job Lulu!
