Groove Pant *Full-On Luon (Tall)
I want to live in these.
I bought these pants months ago and was a little nervous about the reviews I'd read, especially in comparison to the price... I have to say, my expectations were far exceeded, thank goodness! The first thing I appreciate is that these are available in tall sizes... I'm 5'11" so it's nice to not be victim to the high-watered yoga pant for a change. Also the rise is perfect for me... I'm not the skinniest but these fit nicely (I sized down 1-2 from my usual size) and they never roll down. The fabric, which was my big fear, turned out to be fine. It's fairly sturdy but vey comfortable. In the months I've had them, they've survived my W/D (I usually wash them in small loads with like colors/fabrics and I was the pants inside out ALWAYS). No visible signs of wear yet. Maybe very slight pilling? But I'll say much less than my other pants (of any fabric), if at all. Overall, I'm very pleased with these pants. I would live in them if I could... I've bought a couple pairs since and honestly could never have enough. Glad I took a chance on these in spite of some of the criticisms.

why all the complaints?
I am confused by all the bad reviews of these. The quality from Lulu the past couple years has been inconsistent lately, but with these I find I actually like them better, and while maybe now quite as soft, they are totally opaque and seem like they will hold up much better than regular luon. I frankly wish I could replace all my old grooves with this material! Please come out with the Cadet blue in tall!

I just bought these pants two months a go and they are ALREADY showing little BALLS on the hips!!!! I've only washed them 3 TIMES!! And no I didnt wash them with fabric softener. I cant believe I spent over $100 on these. And they did nothing for me at the store I got them from because I cant find my receipt. I am a long time customer of Lululemon and I just dont feel like they care about us anymore.

I have a pair of original groove pants which are amazing. A few months back I invested in another pair to "grow in to" during my work out off season. I started wearing them and they are horrible, fuzzy, they have way less support that the originals and its devastating. I had found the perfect product but now the new fabric is nothing like what I fell in love with. Please bring back the original fabric!

miss original Canadian-made lulu:-(
My lulu groove pants from 9 years ago look better than the ones I bought a couple months ago. There is simply no comparison in quality. My old ones made in Canada have it and the new lulu pants don't. There are all sorts of fuzzy pieces around the inner thigh on the new pants.
I won't be buying any more sports bras either. I have the Ta ta tamer in two sizes but neither one fits properly. I am a 34 DD and have never worn a more painful bra. Both the 34 and 36 DD have tight, thick, and inflexible bands. But the worst part is how the cups do not cover whole breast. Instead, that seam you see that lines the cup, cuts the side of your breast.

I ordered 2pairs one plain black one with the blue stripes. One pair too short the other right length but too big. Very disappointed as I have 6 other pairs that are all the same, not impressed.

Wow - i expected higher quality!
Wow - lulu quality seems to have really gone down in the last few years! My previous few pairs of groove and boogie pants lasted for at least 3 years of regular yoga and about-town wear before showing serious signs of wear, and my newest pair, which I got about a month ago, is already showing thinning/weird fabric stretches and flaws around the crotch, after my normal use... And yes, it is totally the right size/fit too!
Really too bad, since the design and fit of these pants is almost unsurpassed, but I can't very well get a new pair every few months - completely unenvironmental, never mind the cost!

Love the pant hate the sheerness
I purchased two pairs of these in the last week (sizes 10 and 8) and tonight when I did the sheerness test they both failed. I am so disappointed because I LOVE these pants. When I compared them to my grooves and tadasanas from a few years ago, the material composition on the labels is very different. When I pull on the older pants, they are strong, thick and you cannot see through them. The new pants are thin and very see through.
Don't know what to say. I thought this issue was resolved. I wear size 8 in these pants. My size 8's of the past are perfect. Even if the newer size 8 was sheer, when I sized up, it was no better. Can we go back to the old fabrics? There were no issues with movement, sheerness or durability back then.
Sadly, I am returning both pairs of pants.

Much improved fabric
I own 11 pairs of groove pants. My excuse...I am an instructor and teach most days, but wear these all day any day.
This is the best fabric of any of my pants, other brands included. I have older pairs with the older style that are well worn and just beginning to pill, yet the groove pants are always the go-to pants. I can tell an improvement on the fabric with Full-on-luon. Despite other reviews saying there is a still a sheerness or CT issue...please try one size larger and that all goes away. As goes with anything stretchy, if you wear it so tight and stretch the fabric to the max, it will eventually show through.
I could wear a 4, as I do with the run skirts, I prefer a 6 beacuse it hangs slightly longer, yet I still get a good fit. (I am 5'11")

I bought these online and they shipped about a week later. I've had faster shipping but not complaining. I got them and was a little disappointed that there was no lulu logo on the leg but I was being my curious self and turned them inside out and saw that they reverse from having it on the bum to the leg! I think lulu should advertise this because a lot of people thought the logo was only on the bum and decided not to buy them because they wanted the "brand name" and not the comfort... well I actually like the fit better inside out then regular but I still do love the choice of doing both. thank you to the genius who invented the reversible logo!!
