tight-knit, moisture-wicking, four-way stretch Full-On Luon® is a high-performance fabric that gives great support and coverage with a cottony-soft feel
why we made this
When we're jetting from our yoga mat to coffee to run errands and back again, we want pants that move with us and don't scream, "Hi there, I just came from yoga!" We designed these with a waistband that can be worn high on days when we want a little more coverage and folded low when we want to feel unrestricted.
fabric + features
a tight-knit version of our Luon™ fabric - Full-On Luon™ gives incredible support and coverage with a cottony-soft feel
Full-On Luon™ fabric is sweat wicking, four-way stretch and breathable
wear the waistband up for a high rise or roll it down for an asymmetrical low-rise
tuck your cards and keys in the back waistband pocket
I bought these because I wanted something that would keep me warmer during the winter. Unfortunately the pilling happened on the first wear and has only gone down hill from there. Totally unacceptable for a clothing item that costs so much. It's really too bad because the pants are flattering. Will not buy from here ever again unless major change to their awful fabric.

I ordered these pants and went up a size to accommodate pregnancy and they are way too tight. I was shocked considering I'm still in my normal size Wunder Unders. Really uncomfortable so I sent them back. Also, way too much of a flair for me considering they say they are straight leg.
Lulu, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the Astro Wunder Unders!!! It would also solve the problem that you do not have a maternity line, which is UNBELIEVABLE. You are missing out on a huge revenue opportunity!

SO after ranting and raving about Lulu Lemon to all my friends I started experiencing less than optimal problems with my pants.
It all started with PILLING!!! and then lead to threads in seams coming out!!
Not just in the thigh.. but ALL OVER. I contacted the store and they said to buy a fabric shaver- SERIOUSLY? I paid 100+ for these pants and you want me to shave them away? I then contacted head office.. I GOT THE SAME RESPONSE!!
I went on a bit of a splurge and bought a total of 5(3 of which are the astro pant) pants and three capri's- Why? Well I thought the quality would be up to par as I had had previous pants for 5+ years no problems!! Its embarrassing to even wear these out and about because I look like I have rolled in a bunch of fabric mini balls. Honestly, for a company that prides it self on quality and keeping their consumers "zen" I find this extremely unacceptable. I resorted to buying low cost athletic wear and have had no problems with them and NO PILLING! I have consulted old lululemon employees and they agree that the quality has gone down hill and that the pilling shouldn't be happening if I wash the pants in cold and hang to dry- With mild detergent and NO softner- which is exactly what I do!
Can't say I recommend these pants to any one anymore - how can I? when I can't even use the ones I have due to the pilling!!
Would have been nice to have better customer service.. Not just told to go buy something to SHAVE my clothing with.
So even if your 110 pounds.. and 5'6 Pilling will still happen!!

where's the "lulu quality" I so loved?
I have to say I have had my pair of Astro pants for barely a year. I never put them in the dryer and to be honest, because I wear my wunderunder so much (LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM) I hardly have worn these or washed them for that matter and they are pilling like crazy and stretched out to the point of me not wanting to wear them ever! I am 5'3" and 108lbs and a standard lulu size 4 in everything. These fit great when I bought them same as my wunderunders (I haven't changed) and after I'd say a grand total of MAYBE 20 wears, they feel like worn out old cheap work out gear of a no name brand and my boyfriend asks me not to wear them out of the house anymore because of how saggy and pilled they've become. I care for my lulu gear like nothing else in my wardrobe and after washing on gentle with only other lulu gear and hanging to dry, I expected more. My lulu's from 2002 look better than these do, and that is just SAD. I hadn't realized just how bad they were until I compared them directly to my 11yr old pair. I have to say, for $98 I would NEVER recommend these. It's just too much money for something that doesn't last or stand the test of casual wear, let alone exercise/yoga classes.

a sheer disappointment
I never gave into the whole high school yoga pants phase, but I recently started taking yoga classes, and everyone had recommended me to get a pair of lulus. I tried on a size 2 and 4 (I'm 5'4" 102 lbs) in the store and both looked pretty good on me, HOWEVER even the 4 was completely see through when I bent over. I had the same problem with the groove pants. I was really looking forward to getting my first pair of yoga pants, and I even saved up my money for them. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because the service was amazing, and I still have hopes that next season the material will be improved. :)

Really Nice, but wrong fit for my body
These pants seem to be very nicely made and I had wanted a pair for a long time. I liked that they were not as wide as the grooves and seemed very classic. The rise is described as medium I felt they were on the low side. They also seemed a bit short on me, but the talls may have been a little long (5'8"). There really was nothing majorly wrong with these I just didn't think they were that flattering for my body. I ordered a 10 which I wear in all lulu bottoms and I think they felt tts. Still very slightly sheer, I have honestly never owned a pair that were 100% opaque from any brand. When trying bottoms on I purposely wear full booty brightly colored obnoxious printed panties to get a full picture on sheerness. These are not bad but in certain positions I could see my underwear.

I can't believe I have not tried these pants before. They make my butt and waist look great. The fold over top is great for mom bellies. No muffin top in these either and not annoyingly tight to put on. I took my usual size in lulu tights which is a 6. No sheerness. I have not washed them yet so cross my fingers no piling. My new fav lulu pants:) I am 5'7 about 128-130lbs

I have wanted a pair of these pants for a long time. As a college student I'd been saving up for quite a while now and finally purchased them last month. After only two washes the pants are pilling like crazy. I've read the articles blaming this on body type but I am 5'6", 125 pounds and slender. I am very disappointed in this product, it let down all of my expectations. It's very frustrating that a product reviewed for "high quality" can be ruined after two washes (and I didn't put them in the dryer).

SO nice :)
I have never had a problem with sheerness issues with lulu lemon, I am a 4 in all my bottoms at lululemon and these fit just as nice as my Astros normally fit. I was soo happy to see that my pants were made in CANADA!!! finally! :) I don't mind spoiling myself the odd time at lulu and I am happy with my purchase, the pants are maybe 1 or 2 inches too long but it is not an issue as most of my pants are. I got the purple striped waistband ones and they are gorgeous in person! the full-on luon material is a bit thicker and its comfortable like my older pants.
for reference, I wear a 0 or 24-25 in jeans, whereas my waist is 26-27 inches and i'm 5'1

The new Full on Luon is very compressive and feels great on the skin. This is a huge improvement - no more scratchiness. However I feel like the material is very stiff. I'm a big girl and wear a 12. The fabric doesn't have much give so the waistband keeps sliding down my butt. When I wore them I was constantly pulling the waist up so my butt crack wouldn't stick out. I can't size up. I guess I need to lose some weight and then these will fit better. I'm a little disappointed.
