Speed Tight *Brushed Full-On Luxtreme
cute but some problems
I purchased two pair of speed tights cozy. One black with a multi pink waist and a pair in inkwell with a color-blocked waist. I almost immediately jumped in and wrote a 5 star review when I first got them and tried them on-then thought I better wear them a bit for a better picture.
First of all they are very cute, fit is very nice and the fabric feels amazing. I love the pocket, the ruching, the pull string at waist. I wore my black pair 3 times before I noticed pilling on the butt from sitting in the car driving! I wore them to a barre class once and we did about 5-10 mins of work on the ground and I left the studio with pilling on the knees. I washed them once and the pilling is that much worse. I just do not see how any high priced and high quality pair of pants can start pilling simply from sitting in a car driving to and from the studio.
Because of this I am very hesitant to do much with my inkwell pair, they do now have pilling on the bottom due to two car trips. I adore how they fit and look but the fabric does not stand up to use (or sitting). As for use for running-the intended use. I will say they tend to stretch out and ride down. I am constantly pulling them up.
I love Lululemon and I hate to write a mixed review. I have been disappointed over the past two years with the quality of the brand. I am a Pilates instructor and Lulu has been my uniform and that of my clients. I have noticed a large drift away to the loss of quality in the clothing. Hoping it gets better or prices go down.

Cozy running tights
I purchased the "Cozy" running tights which I believe is similar to the Interlock Power Luxtreme. The fabric is not very thick but they are so warm! Perfect for running in 40 degree weather! I am 5'9" and the length is perfect and I like the ruching. No problems with falling down, no problem with pilling and I have worn them at least 5 times now.

Run for the pills
First of all the sizing for these pants is weird. Extremely tight in the legs. I had to go up to a size 10 and I'm normally a 6 but I didn't think much of it. So the waist was not a fitted as I'm used to to begin with but after 1 wear the waist started to stretch even more, so now I'm constantly pull them up. Also these pants started to pill almost immiditely in the crotch area, top of the tighs and some other random areas that dont get alot of wear, before even washing them. Its a shame really, I purchased these pants because I thought they would be pefect for many winter activities and I love the side pockets but now they look 10 years old

Daughter received gift pair of leggings. They were not the right size however were needed and worn...post wash the pants have pilled (numerable places), stretched and simply look like poor quality product. Being aware of the ongoing issues presented by the press, I took the pants for return to 2 different locations, Square 1 & West Mall...worst rep experience ever...they have no interest in customer satisfaction and/or helping customers...1 sales attendant after hearing our story actually said "I can help you however, only if you want to make a purchase"!!! Great customer service!!
Premium prices for this poor quality product and no customer satisfaction. The reps seem ill trained with limited people skills to offer any resolution.
I remain available, if your company has interest in resolving complaint.

The 2nd time I wore these tights I pulled the drawstring to tie it & the stitching came undone & the whole drawstring came out. So disappointing to not be able to use these perfectly good (and cute) pair of tights -especially because I already have & love a pair I've been wearing a pair for over a year.

Too bad you can't test run pants...
I was so excited to use my bday gift card to buy the Speed Tight. I already have the Astro Pant which I love. Problem with the Speed Tight is the waistband! The pants tend to ride downwards unless you cinch them tight at the waist. As a result, you get the wrinkly potato sack look around your waist and discomfort. During my workouts I often have to pause to adjust the pants upwards because the crotch keeps dropping downwards. Disappointed I spent over $100 on pants that behave like pantyhose :(

Pilling at ankles, pockets, knees
I got these pants about a month ago, I've washed them maybe 3 times and they are already falling apart. Disappointed with the quality

Purchased these in November and after wearing these a few times, the material has starting pilling at the knees. I love lulu clothes but am disappointed that these are already showing signs of wear especially with the amount of money that they cost.

Great Fit, Poor Quality
If I had to rank these on comfort and fit alone, they would receive 4 or 5 stars. I found them true to size and very comfortable to run in or lounge in. That's where the good part stops.
I have experienced the terrible pilling issues that others have. I thought perhaps others were being a little dramatic about it, that is, until it happened to me. After 2 wears with no washing I saw the beginning of pilling on all seams, including the one that goes along the top of my butt (I shouldn't have to be worried about whether my soft dry fit top will ruin my leggings!). I wore them once with boots (it's Chicago and snowy so you can't walk to the gym or yoga in tennis shoes) and the pilling along the front of my shins from that 15 minute walk was enough to prove that I can't ever wear these with boots again.
To be clear, I did see the reviews so I knew there could be this issue going into it. I therefore have washed these like they were porcelain dolls - hand wash, gentle detergent, only with lulu, hang dry - and still the issues. To make sure I wasn't making things up, I pulled out a pair of Nike running tights I have had 5 years, and they both show the same amount of wear/pilling. Except I've only worn my lulu's a handful of times and my Nike's like a 1000 times. Overall pretty disappointed because as I mentioned I really do love the fit and feel of these. But they are just too expensive given the quality issues.

The best run pant IMO!
I have nothing bad to say about this pant. The slightly brushed interior gives them a nice soft, and snugly feeling, but it's not bulky at all. They keep my legs toasty. I'm not using them in temps below 40 degrees F, so I don't know how well they'd work in lower temps.
They're completely opaque, and provide some compression-more so than the inspire or run day crops. The quality seems top-notch to me.
I love the side pockets which give me a place to put my phone if I end my run at the gym, and they have a rear zip pocket & slots in the waist for gels for longer runs. I do wish there was a strip of reflectivity at the top of each pocket, or within the ankle gathers (there was a pant in winter 2012 that had mesh gathers covering reflective fabric-don't recall the name).
Overall, they're my favorite running pant when it's too cold for the inspire or run day crop.
