Studio Pant II *Unlined (Regular)

Strong and light, this fabric is woven to stand up to watever we throw at it - we love it for its no-bulk, no-nonsense performance

why we made this

Our Studio Pant is such a partner to our practice during warmer months that we gave it a quick-drying liner so it can do the same when winter rears its chilly head. The outer layer has two-way stretch for major comfort and the inner layer is wicking to help keep our temperature regulated when we exit the steamy studio.

Best Pants Ever Please make more of these pants Lulu! I have several pairs in size 4 and lost some weight and now need size 2. I recommend these pants. They are light weight, flattering, and wear well. I've been wearing them for several years. The only ones i had a problem with piling was a black pair of lined. Washing them with other fabrics may have been why. Great pants! January 26, 2015
On the Fence These are loose so I'd recommend sizing down. I'm a size 4 and I got a size 2. I'm so-so about these pants, I have them in the cadet blue color because they never have inkwell in my size (online and in stores, bummer..) Sometimes I feel these pants and sometimes I don't. I wish they weren't so baggy on the feet though that's my only complain. I feel like they don't make my bum look that great though, they're meh. I love the idea of these pants though. I'm still gonna get another pair in inkwell if I can get my hands on them. January 18, 2015
waste band falling apart I am very disappointed with these pants, I just purchased them just before Christmas and the waste ban is coming undone, and the thread is fraying in multiple areas. They are such comfy pants but the quality of the pants is poor. January 12, 2015
So disappointed... Lulu, I love your studio pants and I also have about 7 pairs of your studio crops. Unfortunately, there are all kinds of problems with the waistband, where before there wasn't. I purchased these in Black and in Soot and both of them rolled and the threads were coming off the waist. For $100 pants, this shouldn't be happening. I'm so disappointed as I just love these. Now, I have two pairs of pants that are all bunchy underneath on my waist. January 9, 2015
Love these! I do love these newly purchased pants. I just don't understand the waistband folding down part? Does anyone have a solution for this? I feel like it will become super annoying and won't look nice after a few wears. January 9, 2015
Disappointed I love the weight, fit and style of these pants. I purchased them two weeks ago and the threading in the waist is already unraveling. I have not even washed them yet. I am so disappointed. These pants would easily be my favorite go-to pants for both the gym and around town but I can't see them holding up. I expected much better craftsmanship from Lulu. Disappointing I didn't think twice about buying these pants back in August, many of my friends recommended them. I loved them for months but was quite disappointed to see that the stitching in the waistband has begun to unravel. I wash all my Lulu products by hand and have never had a quality issue before, but for the amount of money I paid for them, i expected more! January 4, 2015
love them and want more but... I absolutely love these pants. I have 2 pairs of the unlined ones and wear them quite often. I would love to purchase more however.. The site has been sold out for what feels like an eternity. These pants fit bigger (normally a size 8, fit a size 6) which is nice and I love the fact that you can cinch them up at the bottom, works great for me because I am only 5'2". Would love to see more pants available for purchasing as well as colour. Does anyone know when some more will be available? January 3, 2015
Not for short people... I was never able to afford purchasing lulu items (and still can't) but decided to treat myself. I had my eye on these for awhile and decided to try them on. They were a great fit, very flattering - my fiance loved the way they looked, and very comfortable and they are definitely practical for my job (I work in recreation). However, they were too long for me (I'm 5'4, a size 8-10, and approx. 145lbs). And before you ask, I tried on the regular length, not the ones targeting "tall". I inquired to the girl on whether or not they could be hemmed and was told that it would take 2 days for them to be hemmed - albeit, free of charge at lulu, which is certainly generous. Unfortunately my "local" lulu is 4 hours away and I was only in the area for the day. To me, it didn't make sense to buy them, if I they didn't fit properly and I couldn't wear them right away. Sadly, I decided not to buy them and walked out of the store empty handed. Maybe another time... January 2, 2015
Would be 5 stars except plastic threads poking I own a few of these, and I love them. I've been wanting a pair of inkwell, and I finally got them as a gift for Christmas. I put them on, and about 4 hours into wearing them, I felt something poking into my waist. I took the pants off, and sure enough there was a sharp plastic thread--like fishing line--poking through the center of the waistband and a few more poking through the top of the waistband. I took them back, and exchanged them for something else without any trouble. I can't understand why plastic thread would be used to sew something inside of the waistband. December 31, 2014
