Loop It Up Mat Strap
It's SUCH a simple design, yet it works so well. It holds my massive mat (bigger than the lulu big mat) without complaint, and it's comfortable on my back. When I wear a backpack, it sits comfortably over one shoulder as well. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well - no slipping, no digging, no falling out, no worries on a long walk back from yoga.

An ok strap, but not a versatile prop
I recently got this item as a gift and used it a few times before going back to my older lulu strap. With my old lulu strap there were metal loops where I could use the entire strap for an Iyengar class. This new strap is great for transporting the yoga mat, but lacks the versatility of a strap to be used as a prop during practice. If you are merely looking for a strap for your mat it would be an ok purchase.

Holds mat on scooter
I thought this strap was rather expensive, but it does what its supposed to do, and looks pretty too, so in my view is worth every cent. It holds my mat in place across my back on my scooter/moped going 60kph, hasn't ever slipped out. If you're thinking about it, just get one, you won't regret it.

Best Strap Ever!
I bought this strap in the zippy green. It is so fun and bright that it makes me super excited to head off to class. You can tell that the strap was made well and will last a long time. It makes carrying your mat so easy! You won?t regret having one of your own. :)

What a simple idea and it works so wonderfully for carrying my yoga mat around. I love it. My husband is certain he could make the same strap, just as integrally sound, BUT, he admitted he could not make it look as nice/cute. So in my book, it is worth the $18 to have something that is both functional and cute.

This strap stays on perfectly and the loop system makes it super easy and fast for me to put it on. Also I bike quite often with my yoga mat. The fact that it stays through all the bumps and humps on the road, makes it so worth it.
It looks awesome as well. Previously I have used a mat bag and I found the bag to be quite useless as it does not fit much else.

I was using a mesh bag which was awkward and time consuming. Prior to that, I was using a cheap no name strap which broke. Decided to try this strap for my purple Manduka mat. The groovy grape colorway is a perfect match. The strap does what it is supposed to do. Wide enough that it doesn't dig into the shoulder. As long as you carry by the strap, it stays put, but if you hold the mat to carry it, yes, the strap will loosen. Hence the few bad reviews. This is not a product flaw, just use the strap to carry it!

It's just common sense
I bought this to go with "The Mat" from Lulu in coral/stripe, not really thinking twice about it except "Oh, hey, I need something that will make toting around a mat easier."
Of course, that's exactly what It did. Maybe I missed the bus on this a long time ago, but since I ride my bike to yoga, I'd constantly be shoving the mat into a backpack and worrying that it would fall out. I can just sling this over and use it as a cross-body-mat contraption and it works fabulously. It can also be used as a strap for stretching out your legs!
Honestly, If you practice regularly and own a mat, this is a necessity.
