Rated 5 out of 5 by HarrisonLou a basic tee - just that
Simple tee that fits well and lasts. long, lean torso. 6'5 and a large fits just a tad big. medium is nice and snug. recommend them.

I love these t-shirts, fit great and very comfortable. I might slightly prefer the metal vent tech shirts, but they're both great and these look are better with jeans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Beerleaguestar Sooo close to perfect
I love these shirts, I have a few of them and as far as comfort, I'm not sure there is anything better out there. They stretch, wick, breath etc just perfect for my day to day lifestyle. Biggest problem, mainly with the crew necks is the waved neck that makes it look cheap after a few months- I believe Michael Jordan called it "Bacon Neck". I wash them exactly how they are supposed to be cared for but it doesn't seem to matter. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the V Neck however.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sandrizzy Depends on your Body
If you have an athletic build that's a bit top heavy (v-taper back, broader shoulders etc.) and a slimmer waist the 5-year basic tee may not be for you. Its just that - basic. I'm 5'8, ~165lbs and tried the medium and while it fits great up top, its fairly baggy and boxy around the torso. Its definitely not a fitted t-shirt.

extremely comfortable and great athletic fit! it's a must have and my go to tee. need to restock xxl crew and v-neck tees in basic white, grey, navy and black. I prefer the older version of the 5 year basic tees over the newer ones that are either heathered or have a crazy design|pattern. Keep it simple, go back to the basic colors and keep the sizes in stock. thank you in advance for taking my recommendations into consideration

It seems like these shirts are cut for men with a frumpy build and a beer belly. I have a V shaped athletic upper body and they make me look like a pear. I donated them to goodwill. Total waste of money!

I love these shirts. Over the last few years I've accumulated over 20 of them. They fit extremely good and are very comfortable. The stretch is perfect. I'm 6'0" and weigh 180 and wear a large. I wish they would make these in solid black again and start to get away from every color being heathered. Thanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Thom6 Love the product but not durable
I purchased my first (and probably last) 5 year basic tee a little less than a year ago. I started noticing that the colour didn't seem quite right a few months ago and then figured out that it had become sheer and the colour difference was because you could see my skin underneath. Very comfortable but unfortunately does not seem to last. I always wash my clothes in cold water so this shouldn't have happened. If you really want the tee, I would recommend getting a dark colour (mine is mint green and didn't age well) to avoid such an inconvenience. The tee also lost some of its collar shape which I was also disappointed about.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TXbyc A basic T indeed
Great selection of colors for this relatively basic T. Would consider it a "slim fit" as it fits in-line with their other products and has a bit of stretch to it.
For the relative price and sweat wicking ability, I tend to prefer Metal Vent T's, but have a few of these that I like. They feel like a soft cotton T.
6'0" / ~185 lbs.
