5 Year Basic Tee
I love these shirts. Over the last few years I've accumulated over 20 of them. They fit extremely good and are very comfortable. The stretch is perfect. I'm 6'0" and weigh 180 and wear a large. I wish they would make these in solid black again and start to get away from every color being heathered. Thanks!

Love the product but not durable
I purchased my first (and probably last) 5 year basic tee a little less than a year ago. I started noticing that the colour didn't seem quite right a few months ago and then figured out that it had become sheer and the colour difference was because you could see my skin underneath. Very comfortable but unfortunately does not seem to last. I always wash my clothes in cold water so this shouldn't have happened. If you really want the tee, I would recommend getting a dark colour (mine is mint green and didn't age well) to avoid such an inconvenience. The tee also lost some of its collar shape which I was also disappointed about.

A basic T indeed
Great selection of colors for this relatively basic T. Would consider it a "slim fit" as it fits in-line with their other products and has a bit of stretch to it.
For the relative price and sweat wicking ability, I tend to prefer Metal Vent T's, but have a few of these that I like. They feel like a soft cotton T.

Best casual T I've ever owned
First I'll start off by saying that I live in Canada but no where near any lulu stores but I get out often enough to visit various stores across the country at least 3 times a year and when I do I try to pick up one of these shirts.
I bought my first a year and a half ago and it was life changing. Now I own about 15. The fabric is soft holds its shape and doesn't sag at all and at 6'2 215lbs I find this shirt perfect length if not longer than most of the tees I owned before. I can easily raise both my arms and not show skin haha.
I wash it on cold and hang dry ALWAYS even though it says it's pre shrunk and can handle the drier. I prefer to heir on the side of caution and like the feel of air dried clothes anyway.

The 5 year basic T's are my favorite shirts, hands down. I love a couple of the new ones, they look awesome, HOWEVER, they are SO short! Not sure why they changed but I had to return then because if I moved, they were showing my belly button. I hope they go back to the more normal length, a couple inches longer and I am back in.

Too short. Way too short.
I'm only 5'11" athletic/muscular build and the bottom of an XL rests right at my belt-line while slouching. If I stand up straight with good posture, the bottom of the shirt rises nearly to about halfway between my pants and my belly button!! Seriously?? Raising my arms to a 90-degree angle on both sides lifted the bottom of the shirt above my belly button.. I don't understand why these shirts are made so short, the sleeves included.
I wanted to fall in love with these shirts, especially since the fit is now more tailored than the previous generations - which was a huge incentive for me to finally be happy with this product. However, I'm still disappointed in how short all of lululemon's shirts are and will not be purchasing anymore.
If these shirts had a couple extra inches of length, with a little extra length in the sleeves as well, they would be perfect!

Shirts getting shorter?
I've noticed that my new shirts (all styles) are shorter than previous versions. I still appreciate the craftsmanship of the clothing, but as a tall guy, it was nice to have well-fitting shirts that were long enough!

I pretty much live in my lulu gear and when I first bought these t-shirts they where amazing. They are cut well and the fabric feels amazing.
However its coming up a year since I bought the first one and unfortunately they are coming apart. My oldest tee has lost the shape around the collar and the fabric is "pilling", this one also has shrunk and the fabric has taken on a crunchy feeling. The rest are coming a long nicely as well. Each one seems to be doing a different thing which may have something to do with the dye for the colours. The common problems though are either the fabric turns hard or it becomes thin and loose which causes it to "bubble" which leads to saggy patches. I'm following all the washing instructions to the letter but clearly these things aren't made to last which is a real shame given how much i loved them at first. The white one is not yet 4 months old and it can be seen where it has "bubbled". The blue and white one is my oldest one and you can see how the collar edge has lost its shape and the "pilling" which has occurred.

My go to!
I love the fit and comfort of these T shirts! They fit so well and are the most comfortable shirts ive ever worn. I love the fabric, online this looks like just a basic cotton t shirt but trust me its not... You will get complements on how nice the shirts looks on you because its tailored so well to accentuate your body really well. Not too tight and not too loose... Love it! The only reason why I give 4 stars is because the quality control seems to have gone down on them. I have had one fall apart, the store was great and exchanged it for me though so there is no reason to worry due to their great quality promise.

These used to be my favorite t-shirts, by far. Over the years, the quality has just turned to rubbish.
I have one that is roughly 5 years old now and I use it as my reference tee. Super soft, fits perfectly. It's starting to pill up a bit now, but I still wear it more often than I probably should.
The 5 year tee they've been churning out the last couple of years are not of the same quality. The material is markedly different, and I've non-stop trouble with the collars going bacon-neck on me after a few washings.
Most recently, I purchased (gift card) another one, being somewhat hopeful of a change in quality, but I've found another strike. The shirt I just received is 2 inches shorter than any of the others I own. It's ridiculous. It also feels like the same material, so I'm guessing the collar will go down the tubes soon also.
