Metal Vent Tech Short Sleeve
Loving them !
I think these shirts are awesome. Awesome for working out, bodybuilding, cardio etc. I love how the shirt breathes so that your body can cool down. The anti-stink really does work! Awesome too that they have variety of colors which is great for the summer. These are by far the best workout shirts that I have ever encountered. I've had numerous amounts of gym shirts by other brands (not mention any names) but tones of pit stains, shrunk over time and dis-colored after washes and none of that happens with these shirts. I would love to grab a white one but after trying it on at the store you can see my nipple and chest hair. I would like to see this changed in the near future because I would much love to get a white one, it goes with a lot of shorts and pants. I guess I could wear an under-shirt but I personal don't like to wear them underneath. I should note that I'm not a very hairy person either. But other then that these are phenomenal shirts!!!

Great tech shirt! No chafing!
Until recently, I was only vaguely familiar with the Lululemon brand, and had no idea they sold men?s apparel. But after I chafed a couple times under typical tech shirts, a teammate suggested a Metal Vent Tech t-shirt. I was skeptical. I had found a solution ? Band-Aids and waterproof tape. To go without them would be risking blood-stained shirts and painful showers. Besides, $64 for a t-shirt seemed ridiculous. It also seemed worth a shot.
I?ve taken a few short training runs in my metal vent, and recently ran a hot, humid 9 miles, conditions that certainly would have caused bleeding without bandages.
Here?s the low-down on the shirt.
It fits perfectly. Folks in the store helped me find the right size, a large, which is smaller than I usually wear because most smallish shirts pinch my pits. This one didn?t. It moved with me, not against me. And because it fits well, there?s not a lot of excess fabric soaking up sweat, flapping with every stride. It?s long enough for my tallish frame, fits snugly but not tight, it?s lightweight but substantial and it looks damned good.
During the long run, the shirt breathed well, better than other tech shirts. It purports to dry quickly ? it did, but don?t expect it to dry out during a run. But because it?s lightweight, the added sweat didn?t bog me down. Two weeks before I ran a half marathon in a tech shirt that seemed to weigh 10 pounds halfway through the race. I seriously doubt the Metal Vent Tech will have the same problem.
Most importantly, there was zero chafing. None. I went out with bare nipples and came back sweaty but intact.
After the run it did dry fairly quickly. The fit stayed true, the shirt didn?t stick to me like some other tech shirts, and it actually lived up to its promise of combating odor. I?ve hand-washed the shirt a couple of times, just because I wanted to wear it before the next load of laundry would be done. Rinse it, wring and shake it and hang it up, and it?s ready to wear in a few hours.
So, what?s wrong with the shirt? My first beef is with the price point. At $64 it ain?t cheap. Drop the price 20% and I?d buy several Metal Vent Techs.
The second issue is common for all garments sold in the U.S.: I wonder what the conditions are like for the ladies in overseas factories who sew the seamless shirts woven with Silverescent fabric. I?ve watched the very well-produced Lululemon video purporting excellent work conditions in Sri Lanka, but I?ve also read news reports about labour struggles in Cambodia. Maybe the conditions and pay are better for Lululemon?s garment vendors. If so, tell me about it, ease my conscience; I?ll run faster. Lululemon athletica seems like a socially responsible company. I?d like to know how much of the $64 price goes to wages and improved working conditions, and how much goes to high-end retail space and corporate activities. I sweat because I can; garment workers sweat because they have to. So, what?s the story? I hope it has a happy ending, because I?d love to wear more Lululemon products.

Great quality, sizing not consistent
After seeing Dan Bilzerian sporting one of these shirts on Instagram, I decided to go into my local AD to get fitted by a specialist. I usually wear a medium in everything (I'm 173cm and 75kg) but the medium was a little snug so I reluctantly opted for a large. Since the store didn't stock the color that brought out my eyes, I ended up ordering from the e-commerce site. When the shirt finally arrived, it was slightly baggier than I had remembered but figured it would shrink a tad after a good wash and dry. The first time I wore the shirt, after about 45 minutes of some intense calisthenics and sweating, this thing grew to about two sizes larger and was flopping around on me like a fish out of water. I was slightly disappointed because of how much I had spent on this shirt but everything else about it seemed spot on (color, feel, styling, quality, etc.) I have since passed the shirt on to my chubbier little brother but I highly recommend that anyone who is in between sizes go with the smaller size as this shirt will expand with activity.

Great Shirt But Not For CrossFit
Bought this shirt about three months ago and have loved it ever since. I use it for CrossFit and running. I noticed that after the second month it started pilling at the chest and under arms which made me pretty sad. It is a really comfortable shirt but the metal tech fabric is way to delicate to be used for any exercise where the shirt would come into contact with something hard i.e. floor, barbell, etc... I'd only buy this shirt if you're going to run in it and even then I'd keep a look out around the underarms.

Best Running Shirt
I'm a 30 year old guy that runs 25-30 miles per week. I like shirts that aren't too tight and that wick sweat. This shirt is perfect. It's incredibly comfortable due to the soft fabric and the way it wicks sweat. Another great feature is that it has minimal seams so there is no chafing! There are no seems down the sides and they incorporated mesh vent panels without adding seams. It is incredibly comfortable to run in. I would highly recommend it to any runner that likes to run in a normal t-shirt.

. About 6 weeks ago my 28 wear old son Was telling me all about lulu, I told him no way I will spend $64 on a shirt for the gym. A few days later he took his mother and me to the Orlando lulu store, I tried one on and that was all it took. I now 6 weeks later own 14 of these shirts.

Hands down my favorite item! The fit is perfect, not too big, not too tight. Being over 6 foot other work out tees fit too short, and these are great in length. Highly recommend it.would love to see more colors and possible prints?!

I recently purchased this shirt for my boyfriend. It is a very nice quality shirt with some really neat features.
The Silverscent is a nice feature for most men because it does not get as smelly after throwing in your gym bag. The loose lightweight fit is ideal for when you are working out and you don?t want your shirt to stick to you. The loose fit also allows for movement while you are active. This shirt has great moisture wicking and it also dries fairly quickly.
It is important to pay close attention to the washing instructions and follow them very closely. When it comes to washing delicate fabric like this you don?t want to take any chances.
When designing this shirt they definitely had the end user in mind, men that live active lives. Overall great product and I would purchase another shirt like this.

A recent convert from Nike Dri FIt, this shirt blows away any of the competition I have tried. Beyond comfort, I was most shocked when I left it sweaty in my gym bag for two days and it came out stinge free. Please note it does run long.

I bought this shirt for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. But yesterday I noticed it has a whole in it. I am so disappointed. I buy a ton of women's clothes and haven't had a problem. I bought him an outfit for Christmas hoping to convert him to Lulu so he would understand why I buy so much. This for sure made him doubt the quality :(
