This top is awesome! The material is great, it fits great and is very stylish. Easily the best Lululemon shirt I own. I would highly recommend this.

Very nice, need to try on first!
I like this sweater a lot the fabric is comfortable and the style looks nice. Just one problem is that it fits pretty tight (a little too tight). I ordered a small and I am naturally a small in most if not all Lululemon gear. I am 5'9 135lbs (kinda lanky). It sucks because i ordered it off the internet and I could not try it on, thinking to order a small it would fit and there is no Lulu store near me. I highly recommend trying on the shirt for sizing before committing to buying since it is $100

Not just for men :-)
This review is for women who might be considering getting this top for themselves, not for the men in their lives... so, men, if you want to click ?Not helpful? on this review, don?t worry, you won?t offend me! :-) I knew the women were unlikely to ever get to see the gorgeous phantom stripe deep zinfandel/deep zinfandel/soot combination in anything, so finally I decided to order the men?s Core Crew in this color combo for myself. What a great surprise!
Fit/styling. I?m 5'10", ~165 lb, and ordered the large. The sleeves on that come down about an inch below my wrists, and the top in that size is upper-thigh-length on me (completely covers my rear). Because it?s a guy?s shirt, it isn?t fitted at all, at least not how women would define fitted - it falls in a straight line from shoulder to thigh. It thus has almost a tunic appearance on me, which I love. A medium would have probably looked more like a top. Sometimes guys' shirts can be tight in the chest area, but this one fits well over my chest without stretching out there (I have an average-sized chest). The neckline is probably where this top looks the most ?masculine? - I often wear a scarf over it to give the top a more feminine touch. The lulu women?s zin/orchid scarves (I have two, one in rulu and one in wool) both coordinate well, color-wise, with this top.
Fabric/color. Love the soft rulu - not as thick as some of the women?s rulu, but still soft, warm, and completely opaque. The purple/black combo is every bit as gorgeous in person as it looked online. Purple and black are my two favorite colors and make up most of my wardrobe, so this combo made me very happy.
Performance. As you would expect from rulu - it wicks, it?s soft, and it?s breathable. The mesh under the arms is great for ventilation. In the dark purple/black combo, the mesh is also not very obvious, which I like - on the women?s side, a lot of the underarm mesh stands out, which makes it harder to wear some of the women?s tops to work. I?ve worn this Core Crew to work quite a few times, without feeling like I?m strutting around in obvious workout gear. It?s a good running shirt if it?s not too cold (for me, probably no colder than about 35-40F if I?m wearing it on its own).
Overall. I?m not a girly girl, and I?m tall, so this top for me was a very pleasant change from the feminine styling of the women?s side (although I have, um, plenty of those cute clothes as well). I?m very glad I got it. If you too like a change from girly clothes and don?t mind the un-fitted style, you might like it as well.

Man, Rulu is really something. I really don't know what to write except to say that this shirt is as close to perfect as can be. It's super soft, light, breathable, moister wicking, and has ample stretch. I also love the dark blue with micro black stripes. It's so cool!
A bit of caution: I'm a stocky guy and this shirt is quite fitted (almost like a next-to-skin baselayer), you have to be a bit more careful when putting it on or else you may overstretch the shirt. I cringed the first few times I absentmindedly put this shirt on and heard the seams bulk. Ouch.
About the fit: I'm a stocky 5'7'' 185 lbs 32'' waist and M fits great.
I will buy another one if new colours are available and are to my liking. Thanks LL for this really awesome shirt!
