Hiking, biking, working and traveling - we do it all and we want gear that keeps up with us. Engineered with an athletic fit, tailored details and durable Ascent fabric, these pants take us from our morning commute to an evening hike and everything in-between.
fabric + features
made with durable, moisture-wicking Ascent fabric
hidden zipper pocket designed to hold your cards, keys or cash
roll up the right cuff for hidden reflectivity
the panel between the legs intentionally moves seams away from special cargo
Great pants! No only are they physically flexible, but they are extremely versatile went it comes to sportswear and can work as a crossover for business attire. Have held up well through washing and drying also.

I own three pairs of Mission Pants and love them for work and play. I was hoping that these would be just as comfortable and versatile as the Mission Pants. The silhouette and cut with the looser bottom hem looked great, but the material is hard and has a shiny, cheap polyester feel to it. I returned the pants. Hopefully, the next version will have a nicer feel to the fabric.

Compare to the Mission Pant II, this has a thicker fabric and looser fit. This has become my go-to for business casual settings.
I would definitely recommend this pair of pants. There's one small complaint - the hemming service is free at the lulu store. However, seems like all pants can only be hemmed with the sport stitching option. If the store offers the dress pants hidden hemming so I don't have to take it to the tailor, this would be perfect.

Perfect pant for a difficult brother
My 26 yr-old brother is getting ready for his first European vacation and wasn't able to find "travel" pants that didn't look like REI-style cargos so I dragged him two hours to the nearest Lulu to try on the Ascent and Mission II. For reference, he's about 6'4" and has a slim but strong build. He usually wears a 33" or 34" waist and 34" inseam and the size 34 Ascent fit perfectly.
The Mission II were super tight and the material was thin enough that you could see each wrinkle in the pockets, but the Ascent was PERFECT. Seriously, no tailoring necessary, even on his long frame. They're the perfect weight for traveling in the fall/winter, will dry easily, resist stains and wrinkles, and be comfortable for all-day wear in a variety of situations. He was super pleased (and surprised) and we walked out with the pants in two colors. Lulu, you've got a new fan.

Great pants in spite of some shortcomings
Great pant overall, and I wouln't hesitate to reccomend to anyone. I own a pair in the light beige colour and will get a second in omething darker. I chose them over the Mission II pant because I have legs coming out of my waste and the Missions don't really have room for those legs....more of a hipster look. Anyways, the Ascent pant, while still a little bit snug, is a much better fit, and even though they are a bit fitted, they have a good amount of stretch and look great also.
I wear these pants to work. I manage a fitness centre and love that they look professional, can wear them to meetings, tuck a shirt into them, but still spend time on the gym floor to show technique, spot members, etc. Not a bad pant for golf either.
I also like the extra zippered picket for change, etc. Overall I am a big fan. However, while I love these pants and would not hesitate to reccomend them to anyone, I say this in spite of a few things.
I don't have massive thighs, but at 6', 200lbs, and a fairly lean body comp., I have a bit of muscle on me. Were my legs to be much bigger, they might be a bit tight. As is, especially with the light colour, the outline of the front pockets is visible through the pant a lot of times. Not a dealbreaker, but at over $100, I think I am paying more for good material and customer service than I am for a perfect design.
The other issue, which some reviewers have mentioned is that they do get a little narrow at the bottom. The fit is almsot great, but at times I find myself adjusting the bottomes.
In general I am happy, and like I said, I will be grabbing a second pair, but try them on before you by them, and pay attention to those front pockets, because if you have a decent set of legs on you they may be fitting a bit snug

Great pants if you want slim fitting. Too slim for me - could easily see the outline of front pockets on my thighs. Would like a wider thigh, cuff, & more secure pockets for wallet, phone & keys.

good, but still room for improvement
I like these pants, but I agree with earlier reviews- the cuff needs to be opened a little more. Great quality material and they are definitely great as casual or business pants. I'm 6'1" 210 lbs. Lulu, not everyone wears the skinny stuff!!

Works great for the office/evening wear.
Perfect fit (after hemming of course). Much more functional than black jeans. Glad to see Lulu bringing back non-slim fit pants back.

Way too small
I typically wear 31-33in jeans and am 5'11 170. I have muscular legs being a former baseball pitcher. I felt like a matador when I tried these pants on. Way to tight.
The fabric was good and can see the potential, but once lululemon branches out of the skinny fit pants, you will hit a whole new demographic.
If these fit like your kung-fu pants, I may have bought a light and dark pair for golfing and casual business meetings etc.

The Perfect Pant
I've never worn a more perfect pant. It dresses up easily for all but the most formal occasions and down for casual rest and relaxation. An excellent choice for an active or well-traveled business professional.
