Kung Fu Pant 2.0 (Regular)

why we made this

It doesn't matter how good we are, it's impossible to do a deep lunge in a pair of jeans. We developed these pants with our Luon® fabric because it's sweat-wicking, four-way stretch and breathable. After all, we want to be able to move freely after our yoga practice.

Kung Fu Pant 2.0 (Regular) 2.7 5 10 10
Better than the original! I really liked these pants better than the original Kung Fu pants--they're great for the slimmer leg and less bagginess. I don't see the problem of the other reviewers in issues with not enough room in the legs, and my thighs are definitely not skinny. I would say, though, that Lululemon needs a better pair of pants for guys who do activities like yoga and pilates, because we need a slimmer leg--maybe even a mens legging? Are you listening Lulu? I may be the only guy in my barre class, but I still want to look good. September 3, 2014
2nd pair after return and there is still pilling These pants are not worth the money, pure and simple. I returned my first pair a few months ago because of pilling. The second pair has done the same, again around the crotch. Not worth the money for apparent complete lack of quality. I highly recommend against purchasing these pants. September 2, 2014
Please Get Rid Of The Pocket Flaps. I haven't tried these on, so I can't comment on the fit, but when I saw "2.0" I thought to myself "Oh sweet, maybe they got rid of those useless, silly-looking back pocket flaps!" Nope. I have one pair of black Kung Fu pants. I would love to get more, but those back pocket flaps stop me in my tracks every time. August 31, 2014
Seams the Same I was informed by the GEC that Kung Fu Pant v2 is supposed to be slimmer with seams moved to reduce chafing. I tried on the heathered black version in-store but did not really notice any difference. (I did make sure I was trying on KFP 2 by checking the hangtag.) The leg is still baggy for me but I suppose the slimmed leg is more pronounced in the TALL version of the pant. I would still recommend this pant but lululemon should have a dedicated slim fit luon pant and a classic fit Kung Fi Pant. However, I do wish the front pockets were secure (maybe not with zipper or buttons but that's for the designers to innovate). I nearly lost my wallet/card holder when I was sitting down since it slipped out way too easily. August 29, 2014
Best Pants I Ever Bought The fit of these pants is perfect for me, I wouldn't change a thing. They are extremely comfortable great for lounging around and wearing in the gym. I cannot compare them to the previous version 1 because I have not worn them. I do like the slimmer more athletic fit for myself and my gf says they look amazing. Its a win win for me, will definitely be buying more! August 26, 2014
a huge leap backwards - major disappointment The thigh and seat were reduced drastically so now these are like the "Skinny Jeans" of Kung Fu Pants. Those with masculine legs will not fit into these unless you were going for skin tight on your butt and thighs. The Kung Fu Pant I were far superior to the new version. Please bring back the original Kung Fu Pant. August 19, 2014
Fit regular folks better than version 1 I read the earlier reviews and almost didn't try them. The original Kung Fu were ok fit and I decided to buy based on reviews . I just thought I try the 2.0 version while they were looking for additional colors in 1.0 (they are almost out of stock). What a revelation, much better fit, and I am 250lbs. These are great and I do not have very thin nor tree trunks for legs. 2.0 it is! August 14, 2014
1.0s were better Like previous reviewer(s) have said, too restricted in hips & bum area, and the smaller leg opening not cool. It's fine if you guys want to accommodate those who want a more snug/slim fit, but at least have some pants that are still "baggy". Just like some people cannot pull off skinny jeans (because they have a butt and leg muscles), some people need looser sweatpants. August 13, 2014
Bring back the old version, please! I own 8 pairs (yes 8)of the previous Kung fung pant. This version is similar with one big difference. The leg opening is about 2 inches smaller than the previous version. Now I understand the whole slim fit fad but there are other men's LL pants that are slim in the leg already. I hope to see the regular specs come back on these pants as these are my daily drivers. If you like the whole carrot shaped leg look then try these out but if not let's hope LL brings back the previous style. August 11, 2014
BIG QUADS BEWARE I've bought 2 pairs of the original Kung Fu pant for my boyfriend and he loves them. He is a consistent size Medium across all lulu pants and underwear. However, the new "tapered fit" of these pants definitely does not have room for a booty that squats. He already has one pair of these in black and one in fatigue, so when I saw that the new 2.0 version was in "heathered black", I thought it would be a great new color, since he wears those other pants all the time. However, these pants were super tight on his butt and quads. Sorry he squats heavy weight and doesn't do hot yoga because there is no room for his badonk in these. Maybe you could try sizing up, but then you risk the waist being super lose and falling. Men don't want to think about their clothes that much, especially when you're paying this kind of price. They just wanna pull them on and go. I took some comparison pictures just so you can see how tight the new fit is. The heathered black is the new 2.0 kung fu pant. The black is the original kung fu pant. Both are size Medium. He already has a lot of trouble finding jeans, I guess we must go elsewhere for comfy sweatpants... Already took these back to the store.
