This is an awesome hoodie. I have always wanted to get one and I decided to wait until the right one came along. I like the fact that it is an over-sized hood but the only complaint I have is the length of the sleeves. I am 6'2" with 36-37 arm length. It would be great to have some longer length sleeves for the bigger guys.

it's getting warmer
I really like my core hoodie, It's thick and warm and very comfortable. I pretty much wear it every day, it's kind of taken over and made me retire some of my other hoodies.
The core hoodie is a great all around hoodie perfect for pnw fall weather.

This hoody is well made. Some people have commented that the hood is too big but it fits my big head just right (it's also very warm). It has a tailored fit, that is it sits close to the body so you can easily layer over it. The sleeves and thumb holes fit me properly (just barely) though I can see how they may be too short for people with longer arms. The chest pocket is a good size, I like to put my iPod and money in there. This jacket is warm but not too warm so its good for fall temperatures and good as a mid-layer in winter. I give this hoody 4 out of 5 stars, the one star deduction because it wasn't as soft as I thought it would be (though the thick weave may contribute to the hoody being a bit more wind and abrasion resistant).
About the fit: I'm a stocky 5'7'' 185 lbs, 32'' waist and the M fits just right.
Thanks LLL for this cool hoody.

Great for bigger girls!
I've been lusting after a scuba for years now, but I'm a bit too busty (and have a bit too large a beer gut) to be able to wear a scuba (particularly now with the newer versions.) Now that Spokane has a larger store, I was actually able to see this hoodie in person in a wide variety of colours, to discover that this is as close to a scuba as I'm going to get.
It's lovely! I'm a 38DD, size L in most unisex shirts and was able to wear a L in the Core hoodie with plenty of room for layering long sleeved shirts. The thumb holes are great and I actually really like having the chest pocket for my cell phone.
The lone drawback is that the hood, while being lovely when you're not going anywhere and don't need to *see* out of it, is too large to be useful if you're going to try to walk, run, or otherwise try to ambulate with it up. I'll admit I'm a nerd who likes strings on hoods, and it's because I can cinch them when I need it to stay on my head. If the hood was smaller or had strings, I'd be uber happy.

It?s that Hoodie time of the year?
For me - Didn?t even know LLL had cool Men?s gear. Picked up this Black Core Hoodie because it was an all Black Hoodie! It?s the perfect hoodie because it?s stylish, fits well, but doesn?t show as too stylish when wearing on weekends at my local Cyclocross races. Riding a bike this time year I?m always pulling down my sleeves ? not any more, my new Black Hoddie has thumbhole?s?

Fits Great if You're Tall & Skinny
I currently own 4 Lululemon jackets. I normally wear Small. The Small Core Hoodie was too tight in the shoulders. The medium is more roomy, but too long in the arms. Fits like a parka, which I don't expect in a hoodie. Was only available in-store in black at both Atlanta locations (yawn). No holes for ventilation. No pass-through hole or clip for earphones. I still have a Pacific Hoodie from 4 years ago. The styling and thought that went into that jacket is superior.

I bought this hoodie for my husband and we are both quite happy with it - he finds it comfortable and I find it's quality is up to the standards we all fell in love with from the beginning.
With that said - - What The Heck?!?
The men's hoodie gets our beloved side panels? I am incredibly jealous of this, yea yea, jealousy works the opposite way you want it to. That aside, I'm sure there are many ladies that would agree that we miss the side panels from the beloved original scuba hoodie, and not only this, but the way you made the men's, it's a total upgrade!
Not only is there the ribbed panel that we remember fondly, but there is also a thin liner of material covering it on the inside, adding to warmth, and finally feeling closer to the original scuba's thickness. Feeling like a warm hug with a perfect fit :D You need to incorporate this to the current scuba with lined hood and you'll have a winner - btw, you would want to at least triple your usual production numbers, and do the same with the colour selection, cause these would sell out fast!

I came over to the men's side to see if I could find a hoodie that might actually fit and keep me warm. I'm 5'9" 137 pounds and the scuba hoodie for the ladies is ridiculously short, the pocket are so high I'm not sure what there good for cause it's certainly not for keeping your hands warm since the space is so tiny. I love all the pretty color there for the women but will be happy with a plain gray that actually is comfortable and keeps me warm. You guys even have thick warm french terry sweat pants that I am completely envious of.

Stay away if you are over 6' tall
Last three sets of these have had arm lengths way to short....... if I was to use the thumb holes I would break my thumbs. Another disapointment from Lulu in what seems to be a reoccuring problem with quality and design since taking manufacturing overseas. In the mean time I have my 8 year old hoodie made in canada that still looks like new and never once has it been "hung to dry". When you guys seem to figure it out I will come back in the mean time I will look elsewhere.

I love everything (well, almost everything...lately LL has changed their guys gear up and its a little too Mad Men, bring back the normal, or at least the sizes you used to have) at Lululemon:) I have and am wearing my Core Hoodie now, but what I like even more about this particular item is that it makes a great gift. The sizing is pretty consistent and it's a great way to introduce someone to Lululemon. Cheers to a great piece.
