Namaste Yoga Tote IV
I got this bag and let me tell you... The interior pocket is amazing I put everything in that pocket. I am not sure what all these other reviews are talking about saying that there is a lack of interior pocket. They should inspect their bag a little closer and they will find a pocket. Namaste!!!

Lovely Bag, But Missing Interior Pockets
This bag is lovely and perfect for The Mat, even when i just bunch it up to get home quickly from the gym. The water bottle pock is pefect and I can even fit in a hand towel and my gloves (rowing). I didn't notice until today that the interior pocket is indeed missing (for reference I have the surge stripe tote). I was looking for a secure place to put my ring (in case I forgot to take it out), and was disappointed that it was missing a feature.

Also no interior pocket
Just received this item in the mail today. I really need a yoga mat with several well-placed pockets. I like the outside pockets of this bag. But like the previous reviewers, mine also doesn't have an interior pocket. It's rather unfortunate because I'd really would have a yoga mat bag with an interior pocket.
Also the pouch of the outside zipped pocket flaps on the inside. Perhaps there is a way of sewing that to the side so the pocket doesn't flap around in the bag?
I do, however, like the mesh grommets. The strap is substantial and of good quality, but the zipper is lightweight and feels a bit cheap. The length of the bag is also a bit short, and it took me a little while to shove my regular-sized mat in. I'd prefer that I could put in and take out my yoga mat without having to think or struggle at all.
For the price the bag is mediocre. If Lululemon could make a yoga mat bag that's slightly longer with an interior pocket and better quality zippers, I would purchase it. But not this bag.

Just Received In the Mail, No Interior Pocket?
Looks great but I haven't tried it out yet. Upon inspection, like the two previous reviewers, I do not see an interior pocket...

Where is the interior pocket?!
Like the previous reviewer, I was so excited to finally receive this bag. However, the interior pocket is nowhere to be found on my bag either. I ordered mine in the midnight iris pattern/colour combo, and I love it, but one of the main features for me is the interior pocket for my keys, credit card, phone, etc. What should I do next?

love the concept but where is the interior pocket?
I have been chasing this bag with the water bottle pocket since I saw it once online months ago, but it was soon gone. I didn't want to settle down for the one without water bottle pocket, so I went to four different Lulu stores but none of them had it in stock. Then I saw the mesh version online, but wasn't really crazy about it (I want my mat to be protected from the weather). Then last week - surprise - my local store had a small batch of the Namaste iv, in black!
I was the happiest person ever, and didn't wait a second, bought it right away. Used it the same day and I love the concept of this bag.
It fits my lulu mat, a yogitoes towel, a small towel, and, of course my water bottle.
However, I expected it to have one interior pocket to keep my things safe when I carry the bag on my back (as per the description), but there is no pocket inside...! The exterior pocket is too exposed to be used for important stuff such as wallet, keys, and phone, especially if one lives in a big city and has to take crowded public transportation...
Now I have to carry another small bag when I go to the studio, which kind of defeats the purpose of the namaste.
well, I wish I had checked before leaving the store. Almost perfect lulu, but please change the description on the website!

Hmm. I wanted to like this bag, I really did. It's the right size for me (I actually have the older version without the external bottle pouch). But this is the same fabric and, more importantly, the same strap material as mine.
The strap looks good but it's sooo slippery. My bag just slips right off my shoulder. The only way I can carry it is cross body, but the strap is only just long enough for this.
That said, I can fit a small hand towel, water bottle and The Mat inside the bag. It's a great size and looks good. But it's just not so great for carrying...

just what i was looking for
I'm the kind of person who walks to and from yoga without changing into/out of my workout gear (maybe I'm a slob but I only live 10 minutes from the studio and I shower as soon as I get home, I swear). that being said, I wanted a sleek, lightweight bag that would hold all my essentials - mat, studio card, iphone, house keys, water bottle - without any other bulky compartments for a change of clothes or shoes, like some other lulu bags.
I jumped on this bag as soon as it was released. the previous namaste yoga tote was nice, from what I saw in stores and on other people, but it lacked that water bottle drawstring pocket. with this one, everything has its own neat little slot, so I can just sling the bag over my shoulder and stroll home hands-free without awkwardly lugging my mat in a non-mat-shaped bag.
I see only two areas for improvement: 1. perhaps make the drawstring pouch a bit roomier for those who do hot yoga and need to bring a towel (although you might be able to squeeze it in the main bag compartment if you have a very thin towel and a very thin mat). 2. move the card/phone pocket so that you can unzip and access it without taking the bag off your back. kind of annoying to have to completely lift the bag off and lay it on the ground if my phone rings or when I need to get my house keys out.
otherwise, this bag is perfect for those who don't want or need to transport their whole lives in a bag!

My life in a bag
I was holding out for a pink Namaste Tote with the external pocket and it finally came out!
I used this last night for my evening of Spin and Yoga - I managed to get my spin shoes and water bottle in the external mesh pocket, while my iPod, Clif Bar and key tags were easily accessible in the internal pocket.
