Rated 1 out of 5 by if you need it to carry your mat, don't buy this. It's very clever of Lululemon to market this as "2 in 1", but really this strap does a terrible job of holding a yoga mat. I was hesitant about buying it, but the sales person at the store convinced me to try it by telling me that Lululemon would take it back if it didn't meet my expectations (I was looking for one with velcro or something similarly more secure than a loop) so I bought it based on this fall back plan. The first time I tried it, I carried my mat one block to the studio and the mat fell out (yes, i tightened the loops before hand). That's not to mention that I had to re-tighten the strap every time i put the mat down (at home/at the car/at the studio, etc), which is a small concern, but a hassle considering this strap has one. job. to. do. I was dissapointed with this result, but wanted to give it another try. The next time, same situation, it came undone again. When I went back to the store, the sales lady told me Lululemon will not take it back, because it wasn't a "performance issue" and I had used it. ????? 1) How would I know that this item has a performance issue if I don't use it? And 2) what else would constitute a "performance issue" with a strap that's meant to carry a mat, which does not carry said mat. That's just backwards logic. Really disappointed with this 3) lack of "promise" regarding your products, lululemon. To anyone thinking about getting this: please don't, and save yourself the hassle - unless you need a stretching strap. January 25, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by don't buy this This strap is not good it keeps moving on the mat even if your holding it on your shoulders and its not to tight i see a lot of women at the gym with cheaper straps and they are better quality so disappointing ! January 13, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Won't stay on?? I bought this quite awhile ago but just recently started traveling with my mat. This strap won't stay on?? I have to be very careful with the way I carry it or it just slides right off. Not sure what would be better to use?!? December 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile & Discreet Excellent tensile strength, adjustable for all body types. Anti-chafing technology ensures no visible marks left on limbs. Cleverly designed to appear as an ordinary mat strap ? suspicion is the only thing that *won't* be aroused. December 17, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Useless My husband got me a yoga mat from Lululemon a couple of years ago with this strap. Its horrible. I cannot keep the yoga mat in the strap, no matter how I try and tighten the thing or adjust it. The mat is constantly falling out. I am going to start using the strap that I have on my previous yoga mat from Zeller's to hold the thing together in transit. Its extremely disappointing to have people pay these prices for products that cannot even be used! November 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by nice quality, too short! :-( I like the quality, look, and functionality of this strap but it is just too short. It doesn't rest comfortably on my shoulder and is way too short to wear cross-body. This makes it awkward if you are carrying other things and not useable via bike. November 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for to & from, not as a strap. I got this strap in a bright yellow-lime green colour in the WMTM section for $9.00 a few months ago. It works fantastic for a mat strap, easy on/easy off but being 5'9 it doesn't cut it for me as a stretching strap during practice (as it is too short for my long limbs!). Definitely recommend for a mat strap but get a different strap for stretching if you're tall like me! October 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome - best investment Though you feel a little weird about paying $25 for a strap it is actually so worth it. Your mat is kept wrapped up and neat and is easy to carry. It also doubles as a stretching tool and it's pretty. Thanks Lululemon! August 1, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by too short! i bought this strap when i bought The Mat. i have seen it in use before, and was super excited that i would be able to cross this over my body to easily carry The Mat. unfortunately, i haven't been able to do this. the strap is so short that i can barely wear it over my shoulder without The Mat hitting me. i took it back into the store to ask an educator to show me if i was maybe doing something wrong. she told me she has The Mat and the same strap and is able to wear it cross body - no problem. she said that maybe i just got a bad strap and would swap it out. when she put a new one on, same problem! she suggested that it's possible the design has changed, as the new straps are now shorter! this is functional in that it loops around The Mat, but totally not functional in the way i was hoping for/why i bought it. i have just been using a bag to hold it. :( *for reference, i'm 5'2" and petite, so it's not a size issue on my part.
