Pace Breaker Short
Agree about the rolling
I also have experienced the waistband rolling all the time. I wear a large and it is a good fit but the waistband does roll all the time and it makes it quite uncomfortable. I don't know what can be done about this.

I have 4 pairs of these shorts and for the most part, I like them, but I don't love them and wish I could exchange every pair. What I don't like is how the waist band is designed. It's awful.
Unless you have the body of one of the models the waist band will roll over, so if you're a little bit soft in the mid-section, count on it - and I'm not a huge guy, 5'10 180

The Wayne Gretzky of shorts
Yes - The Wayne Gretzky of shorts, also known as "The Great One".
These shorts have redefined what shorts should be like. I've purchased 4 pairs and can say without a doubt that I will purchase more. I have a medium athletic build, and am involved with every sort of indoor/outdoor activity available. So if it's the gym, soccer field, hiking trail, or library you're blazing, these shorts will undoubtedly become your favorite...
Definitely worth the purchase price. I will lament the day these are discontinued. Here's to hoping they become the "levi's" of shorts and enjoyed for generations to come.

Great for large thighed people. Don't go swimming
While Lululemon describes these shorts as generously cut, as someone with large thighs, I think they're perfectly cut. I've worn small and medium sized shorts from Lulu before where they fit like tights, these feel like they were made for me. I bought small and medium, neither are baggy for me, the difference is negligible, I usually wear a Lulu medium top (occasionally small). The liner is barely noticeable, I can move around and not be constricted.
The material is thin and stretchy. The hip pocket holds my phone (iPhone 5) nicely with minimum jostle. The blue shorts have a blue liner, the red shorts have a black liner. The black liner shows through if it gets wet; nothing really noticeable until the lower part gets wet and you see the contrast between the fabric and skin.
I'm about 5'6, the small shorts end above my knee, just showing a curve of the quad muscle. The med shorts are slightly longer, landing above the knee, below my quads. The medium is looser overall, while wearing it, I can fit my fist into the leg opening loosely. The small is snugger around my fist.
The tight checkered pattern made me think I ordered pajamas when I opened the package. But, I got used to it soon enough.

Love the print!
I love the print! but fit is way too big and buggy! would have loved it with trimmer fit.
