The perfect* workout shirt. This shirt is awesome. Light weight and breathable. Does not stick to you when you sweat etc etc. Wicking = Amazing. Long enough to cover your rear when doing squats or something of that nature. My only grievance is that I have WAYYYYY too much blue lululemon! I have been buying your clothes for years and as I look through them I see the same thing. Blue. Grey. Black. Please give us more colours. There is 5 shades of blue in this shirt online right now. I would love to see some green (still 'Manly') Or even 'Flash' for some ecxitement in my wardrobe. I would buy several mens products in more vibrant colours! Rant over. Buy the shirt! April 16, 2012
Amazing ... but disappointing for yoga! I thought I would be the only one but checking out the lower rated reviews I see this is a common issue. This shirt is amazingly comfortable, in fit, in design, in purpose... but it's simply too short for yoga - guess that's why they say it's for running - I just preferred this in design and comfort to the yoga shirts. I'm not a overweight but any posture requiring straight back, raised arms, open chest, backbends will have this shirt too short riding above the waist or back exposing your abs or back - unless you're deliberately trying to show off your six pack. In short, it looks like I'll have to continue wearing existing shirts that are long enough. Despite all the pluses, this one minus turns it into a disappointment simply because of a few inches in length. =( April 9, 2012
LOVE This Shirt! "Especially for hangover Sundays" the quote on the inter-seam says it all! This shirt is has great fabric and is loosely fitted. Great for the gym, a run, or just going to the grocery store. My girlfriend looks great in lulu but I never thought I would wear lulu until now. I have the heathered black and heathered blue tropics. New fit The fit was awesome, the fabric was better. Now it is short, wide and fits the general public rather than "athletes". I consider myself slim but fit, the small is so short on my it exposed my stomach. I love lululemon, I mean, seriously love it. Please change the fit. p.s. the shorts waist is too big now too with the new sizes. March 2, 2012
Not quite back to it's previous splendor! The cut and fit are off with fabric and construction quality no where near what it was when produced in Israel. For years the Metal Vent Tech was my favorite shirt. It didn't matter if it was sleeveless, short or long sleeve, it was the best. Then they changed the cut completely making it a square shoulder which peeked awkwardly and wasn't flattering or comfortable. In lululemon spirit I, and others, gave strong feedback sharing my/our disappointment with the new cut. Our prayers and meditations (:-) were answered with the seeming return of the original cut. The bliss was short lived. I purchased several of the new shirts and I honestly never wear them. I've worn them once or twice but the cut makes my chest seem droopy and my shoulders and arms dis-proportionate. I went to a store in Seattle because I saw a bright yellow Metal Vent Tech online. About a 3rd of the shirts I saw on the hangers had a ripple in the seam on front of the shoulder. These ripples created diagonal waves from the neckline to the armpits when worn. I might be able to get past the fit if the fabric felt as incredible as my first 16 shirts. Alas, the fabric feels cheap and when damp even rough. There is plenty of opportunity for improvement and I am hopeful they will address these issues so I can add to my Metal Vent Tech inventory! Namaste February 28, 2012
Bad design change Just received my new Metal Vent short and long sleeve shirts, and as already mentioned, the design was changed, and they are now too short for me to wear. I'm right at 6'6" and the shirts don't even reach the top of my waist. Anyone 6'5" or taller will have this problem. Hopefully they won't change all the shirts this way February 3, 2012
Disappointed...Cut and Fit Has Changed I just received another Metal Vent Tech SS (Heathered Sapphire Blue) and it appears that the cut and fit has slightly changed. The shirt is slightly tighter and shorter than my previous four. I suspect this is due to use of another vendor for the production. I will be returning it because it is tighter in the arms than I would like. The shirt isn't bad, but if you are ordering what appears to be the new heathered colors be prepared for a slightly different fit. February 1, 2012
Beats Competition! I've been wearing Nike dri-fit legend shirts (sleeved or sleeveless) shirts to the gym. Issues with those shirts have always been that they are too snug particularly at the neck and chest area. And the dri-fit material clings to the skin when its wet. I'm always fighting those shirts to get comfortable on the treadmill, stretching or lifting weights. The metal vent tops solves all those issues. They fit well, very light weight, and very comfortable. Not just a decent looking shirt that pretends to function. January 13, 2012
Great but better as V-Neck Great shirt, I own 6. I also have a couple of the v-neck version. For hard workouts, the v-neck is more comfortable. Please bring them back. December 1, 2011
Poor Quality :( I purchased this for my boyfriend to wear to the gym. And its only been hand washed two times, I ensure to wash all my lulu togeather and hang to try. But the silver fibers are falling apart... I don't mind paying for lululemon because it is very good quality. But the material in this shirt should not be fraying in the middle especially only after two washes! November 2, 2011
