My favorite shirts I've got five of these shirts now and absolutely love them. I agree with other peoples concerns that they can fade relatively quickly after repeated washes, but aside from that - the comfort and overall fit is perfect. In my opinion, this makes up for any issues with eventual fading, but others may disagree. I'd like to see more colors/designs for summer. I like the white w/brown stripes V-neck, but wish it was available in the basic tee instead. Looking forward to seeing more options. May 23, 2013
5 year basic tee the first 2 I purchased fit great and that's why I bought the second. slim fit, slightly snug in the shoulders and chest but doesn't look muscle headish (i.e. not skin tight). A couple months later I purchased four more and the fit is very poor. The collar scallops because it's so big and the shirts fit more like an XL for big guys than the L that's on the tag. they don't have that athletic fit of the first 2 I purchased which leads me to believe suppliers were changed along the way. I can't recommend this shirt until they get the fit back the way it was. May 13, 2013
Love these SHIRTS!! I picked up one of these shirts to try out. Having really enjoyed Lulu products in the past, I thought I'd give the 5 year tee a shot. WOW! I wear this thing 3 to 4 times a week and no need to wash. It's well worth it and fits and wears great. I've picked up a few more since. I highly recommend. May 4, 2013
So sad about the XXL sizing change I bought a new 5-year basic shirt for my husband. He has many and looks great in them. However, the fit changed. I understand why the XXL is now wider in the waistline for a general population man that has a little extra around the middle. However for your men who are lean and muscular, now there is a new problem. It's so hard to find a great shirt that fits a narrow waist and a muscular wide shoulder girdle - and previously Lululemon had the proportions NAILED and perfect. The old XXL was the perfect answer. Not any more, unfortunately. Now with the new proportions, it's sloppy and baggy around the middle while still fitting through the shoulder girdle. Maybe we now need an XXL slim option. The XL is too narrow in the shoulders. March 20, 2013
So comfortable...soooo faded after 1st wash This shirt is super comfortable and fits well in all the right places. I followed the washing instructions and after the first wash the shirt looks like I have owned it for 5 years. Very disappointing after spending $54. I expected better quality. March 9, 2013
Yea the tall guys! I love these shirts (the older versions) but I agree with the comments about the shirts being too short! Shirt length has suffered greatly with the latest style changes to the point were they are so short at 6'5" I can't wear my favorite yoga shirts (or purchase them at least). Please! Please! Bring back the longer shirts (and shorts for that matter), both the torso length and the sleeve length on the short sleeve t's! Since you guys will do alterations it shouldn't be an issue if things are a little bit longer and need to be shortened, but for those of us of the taller variety we don't have an option to make the shirts longer. Fabric quality I absolutely love Lulu clothing for my wife and myself. I recommend all my articles of lulu to everyone that listens!! I own kunfu pants, several different core shorts, hoodies of nearly every style you've made, golf tee, 5 different shorts etc etc. Well I recently ordered 2 5 year basic tees less than 2 months ago with a pair of blue core shorts. The shorts are absolutely incredible my fav workout shorts to date!! I love how the shirts fit how ever both necks have started bacon necking after only wearing the shirts for less than 2 months.... very disappointed in the quality of these 54$ tee shirts March 4, 2013
Nice Fit, but does not wash well I purchased this t-shirt for my husband in the summer. He loves it and it looks great, but it is starting to look bad from washing. I was it with woolite on gentle and delicate in the dryer, but it looks really worn. Its too bad because otherwise it is a great fit. February 5, 2013
call it the 2 yea tee Love the fit/style of the 5 year tee but a bit disappointed with the longevity of them. I have several of these tees and wear them on their own and also under a uniform. They perform well in every way but durability is lacking a bit. Of the 4 that I own, at about the 2 year mark they start wearing out and showing age. When paying $54 for a t-shirt called a 5 year tee, I expect more than 2 years. Most notable is the collar of the shirt wearing out as it doesn't maintain it's shape and holes have worn right through the fabric :( January 24, 2013
Great shirt, collar bacons I love these shirts, I have quite a few of them. I haven't noticed any significant changes from my older previous years models. These ones still look, fit, and feel great. Only problem I've had with them is that I haven't been able to prevent any of them from developing a bacon collar after 4-5 washes. I take really good care of my clothes, wash and dry everything on delicate with gentle detergent and fabric softener, none of my other delicate clothing gets bacon collar, I have a bunch of lightweight Adidas and gap shirts too that get the same treatment, none of them get the bacon collar the way these do. Not sure why. It's not too big of a deal, but if you're going to pay this this much for a t shirt you get a little disappointed when you see it getting the bacon collar and your $20 Adidas shirts don't. I do love the material, the fit, the look, and everything else about the shirt, so I'd still buy it again, and recommend it, if you don't mind the likely possibility of bacon collar. January 5, 2013
