Studio Boxer Short
Just OK, very overpriced
Needed a pair of tighter, smaller, more supportive undershorts and wanted to give these a try.
In the past Lulu underwear has always been way oversized, with the smalls fitting me like larges in other brands, so when I saw these were supposed to run small I thought they may work.
Fit-wise the smalls fit like a small (29" waist), that's good
Otherwise they're nothing special. The material is ok, the waistband is good enough, the design details are so-so.
But the seams are too pronounced, especially the front center pouch seam. Is this necessary? Other brands seem to be able to make similar products that are much less bumpy. No one wants raised seams in athletic underwear.
For the money I'd have been better off getting 2 pair of any similar under shorts from other makers or even 3 pair of Airism from Uniqlo.
I bought them, there are no returns, I have to keep them. Oh well, it's a $32 lesson

Not the quality/comfort expected
My wife gave these boxers to me as a Christmas gift. They look and feel nice to the touch; however that is where the positives end. They are way to short and way to tight on the thighs which causes them to ride up, because of this it made them extremely uncomfortable for running. Not the quality or comfort from other Lulu purchases. I would not buy these again and would not recommend these to a friend. I am 5 '10", 190 and run 25-30 miles a week, generally where a large in Lulu gear.

Could be perfect with a few changes
I love the material for this item and was probably the main reason for my purchases. I think they feel great against the skin, and have a bit of compression feel to them (mostly in the Medium). I normally wear CK Steels in medium. For Lulu, I was told that the Studio Boxers run a bit small, so I bought a Large, but also a Medium for comparison (it's too bad that we can't try them on over underwear in the store, but I get it... )
I'm a 34" waist, with muscular thighs. The Large fits a 'bit' loose for an athletic style brief, but is still very comfortable. The Medium is closer to my style in that it fits tighter for athletic endeavors. The only problem is that the inseam is a bit tight and causes it to ride up a bit as some of the other reviews have stated. It's not a huge problem, but I think slightly looser bands at the bottom would fix this. Either that or I could stop working on my legs... (hah!)
Anyway, I'm still going to wear my CKs 80% of the time, but if the lower bands get loosened up just a bit, I think Lulu will start getting a bigger timeshare. ;)

The material of these boxers is the real reason I bought them. It's an exceptional feel against the skin and just feels expensive and well-crafted. However, the fit up front is ghastly. There is barely any room for the "family jewels" and they get crushed by the so-called "shaped pouch" (i.e., flat-front fabric). There is barely any pouch at all. One can even see this in the product photos of the website, there's just NO room. I would have likened this issue usually to purchasing an incorrect size, but the fit is great everywhere else.
If I recall, this pouch issue might be a recurring issue with Lulu underwear. Over the years I've always wanted to wear Lulu undies because Lulu is my favorite brand... but they consistently create some senseless men's underwear. Either the rise is far too high that I feel like I'm wearing something from 1950, or the material is too thin and tears, or everything is seemingly perfect, as with these Studio Boxer Shorts, and then the pouch is practically non-existent that I might as well be wearing a speedo. I really want to wear Lulu underwear, please make a product that can appeal to most athletic men, using this fabric, that ACTUALLY has room for the jewels. Until then I'll relegate myself to bland Under Armour undies until I can replace them with something amazing from Lulu.

Very comfortable but questionable craftsmanship
To start, these are amazingly comfortable boxers. They fit very nicely, don't ride up, and are made of great materials. I wear them in the gym/to work/around the house, and they do just fine in any location. However, the craftsmanship seems to be questionable. I have 3 pairs of these, but my most recent one I am very disappointed with. I've had them for about two months (and have only worn them 5-6 times) and completely babied them - hand wash, hung to dry, etc, but they still managed to develop several large holes where the waistband is connecting to the actual boxer fabric. Now they're unwearable as I don't want them to rip any more, which is such a shame. My other 2 pairs seem to be holding up ok (for now), but for $32, I would hope that these relatively unstressed boxers would last longer.

Not as nice as the No Boxer Boxer
Tried a pair of these and a pair of the No Boxer Boxers. Not a fan of these. They are not near as comfortable and as well fitting as the No Boxer Boxer. The fit is much snugger on these and the seam of the band is a bit irritating after wearing for a few hours. They also ride up significantly, even without much athletic activity. Overall wouldn't recommend buying these, $32 down the drain.

Too short on the thighs, constantly rides up
These ones are promising fit wise but they just ride up a ton in the thigh for me. If the thigh band was maybe a bit wider or just a smidgen longer perhaps it wouldn't have this problem but otherwise I only find them good for when I'm not doing much physical activity, which is to say, not very often.

Not as long-lasting as I hope it to be...
Being a lulu fanatic, I have bought everything from jackets, shorts, t-shirts, socks, and undies. I have to say that the qualities and comfort levels of the boxer briefs are below normal lulu standard. After a few washes, the seams came loose a bit. The fit is not that great either. It feels kind of like, eh, something stuck between my legs when I have them on. I think I will probably stay away from lulu underwears till they make some design changes. For now, I will still keep wearing them till they wear out!

These boxers are the first item I have purchased from Lululemon that I have not been 100% satisfied with. They were recommended to me for running, but these boxers are not comfortable to run in.
I wore them under my hardcore shorts and very quickly into the run I found them to be uncomfortable. They ride up and the seams going down the inside of each leg cause an uncomfortable level of friction. I had previously been wearing athletic boxer briefs of another brand (that are far less expensive than these) and I feel they performed better and were more comfortable to run in than the studio boxer.
Next time I would try one of the boxers with longer legs, as they hopefully would not ride up like these.

Will you keep making these?
