Thigh Stitching Way Too Tight and Uncomfortable
My wife bought me the Pace Breaker shorts and Metal Vent Tech Long sleeve shirt last fall, and I absolutely loved them. They are by far my favorite clothes that I wear to crossfit. This weekend, after being encouraged by the sales rep to try the Core Shorts, and since they do not have a liner like my pace breaker shorts, I decided to buy a couple pairs of the Format Boxer. Since you can't try on the underwear in the store, I just got the size recommended to me by the sales rep (medium). The sales reps didn't alert me about the underwear return policy. I bought from the Lululemon store in Georgetown (Washington, DC).
When I got home I tried on the Format Boxer with my Core Shorts, and found that the seams that go across each thigh are way too tight and have no flexibility. Although it is less of a deal breaker, I would also point out that there is little support for your junk. I am 6'0", 185 lbs and comfortably wear a medium in the lululemon shorts and shirts. My thighs are muscular, but probably only slightly above average in size.
Now I'm stuck with two pairs of $38 underwear that I can't wear. I think it is an extremely bad business practice to not allow returns on select merchandise without notice. Although the policy is noted on the bottom of the receipt that you receive AFTER the purchase, there should be notice BEFORE purchase. Had I known about the policy BEFORE my purchase, I would have only bought one pair. I would still be annoyed that I can't return something that I wasn't allowed to try on, but at least I would have known I was taking the risk.
How can lulu make such great shorts with comfortable liners and fall so miserably short on the compression shorts/boxers?

This is the most comfortable thing I've worn... I've never had a pair of boxers that didn't always need adjusting when sitting down (and I've tried other 'premium brands') but I was amazed that no adjusting was required for these. They aren't cheap but it's definitely worth it to pay a bit more for some solid pairs that will last imo. Will definitely be getting more.

Best compression shorts ever
I have two pairs of these and they are probably the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. I actually have more pairs of compression shorts than I do actual boxers or underwear. The material used for them are awesome. I wish Lululemon made a pair of pants for men in this material. They are great for hot yoga and just lounging around the house.

Stitching Undone After Third Wear
I am a huge fan of lulu love all their stuff but kind of disappointed in these. These were my compression shorts from lulu and I LOVE them. Material is great, super comfortable and love working out in them. The stitching started to come undone a bit, I'm hoping that it wont happen again. Kind of disappointed especially since your paying $40 for compression shorts and their already starting to tear? Might rather by compression shorts somewhere else

Looks great but falling apart!
Big lulu fan and supporter. Big fan of this underwear. Great fit and look. However, in the 2 short weeks that I've owned them, the seams have been coming loose and falling apart in multiple places. I cut off the first two and got a picture of the next one. At the price point that these are set, this is simply unacceptable.

I think I got a dud.
I'm not sure if I just got a dud but my Format Boxer is already falling apart at the seams (literally lol). And I just got it this week! What's really unfortunate is that these boxers are actually pretty nice. They're comfortable, breathable and wicks moisture well but I think it's fair to say that it's unacceptable for a garment to start falling apart in the first week lol. And I'm not exactly putting it through a lot of stress (daily wear & running). I'm new to LLL stuff and from my (limited) experience, LL stuff is really a hit and a miss. Some things are really well made (like my Revolution Hoody & KungFu Pants) and some things are just lemons (like this boxer) LOL.

No support for your business!
This seems to be a running theme with Lululemon's men's stuff, but these do not provide any support at all. I tried to wear them to a spin class, and because the crotch area didn't hold everything together, it actually started chafing against things. I had to excuse myself after about the 5th time trying to adjust myself in front of everyone. Ran out and rolled the waist band twice to hike them up high enough that they provided any support at all. Again, for some reason I think they are designing their men's crotches way too low in the garment, creating a huge space unless you wear them with the waistband 2" above your belly button. Hoping they hear and take this feedback!

Best Bikram shorts ever
I wear these for Crossfit and most of all, Bikram Yoga. These are the best shorts I've ever felt for yoga: they breathe even in our 120 degree room. For those who know Bikram, you cant wear loose shorts or they get in the way and get soaked. These shorts take care of that; stay tight and dry.
Wish I would have discovered these when I was playing baseball in college; I would have worn them in games.
Lulu, please listen, make more colors; Fast. Don't leave us stranded with black and white. Real men do yoga. And just like women, we wanna look good while we do it too....

Awesome compression shorts
Perfect compression shorts to pair with my Core shorts. Power Luxtreme fabric is very comfortable and just feels good next to your skin. And the little details makes it stylish compared to most compression shorts.

Great compression shorts for working out
I own a couple pairs of these shorts and find them great to workout in under my core shorts. I also use them during hot yoga.
Only complaint is the mesh panelling in "rear" often increases the temporary sweat left on a bench after doing bench presses.
You can't avoid it though, the mesh panelling is a life saver during hot yoga/long runs.
These add total confidence in inversions, sit ups, squats, etc etc.
Overall, these are great!
