Trendy On the Run
I loved this hat the moment I saw it online. I read the two reviews and knew it would need to be tried on first. So, the fit is a bit different and the style is unique. I see a lot of bikers in the city with this type of hat. They're usually the guys who ride fixies and they make it look great!
I purchased the blue color and have done two long runs 15 & 20 miles and the hat is a great alternative to sunglasses. The visor sits right where it provides the most shade for my eyes. The material is breathable and keeps my head cool. I can't wait to sport this in the Pittsburgh Marathon!
I get worried that Lululemon may get a little too safe with the men's line. This helps to add some spice. It's good to have something in your active wardrobe that's eye-catching.

Distinct styling!
I love this hat. The lightweight breathable stretch fabric makes for a perfect and comfortable fit. Although the bill is short, its angle makes it functional. Best of all is the hat's distinctly lulu style!

Skull Cap + Sun Visor = awkward fitting combo
Did anyone else find it conspicuous that there is not a single photo of this hat from a dead-on front view? If you have an egg shaped head, this could work for you. I'd rather avoid embarrassment than post a photo of me wearing this, but here is what I've noticed: the hat kind of balloons out over your head, even when you pull it down to your ears. It points out at 4 edges along the seams, in a square pattern. The brim is wide across the face, but narrow. With the brim forward, it's actually good coverage to shade the eyes, because of its angle. You can still see far ahead of you without any difficulty. I purchased the S/M. It's loose on my head. Not having taken it into any windy conditions, I'm afraid it will fall off. It does have the breathable material though, so keeping cool and managing sweat is fair.
I bought it for the color, and in spite of the fact that it is already final sale online! Something tells me Lululemon knew this would be an item people need to see in person and realize they should leave it on the rack.
Just as the home run hat has that awkward poof on the side where the Lulu logo is, this just looks better in photos than it does in real life.
