Cruiser 2.0 Backpack
Looks good, carries everything
I needed a bag that carries my lunch, gym clothes and running shoes, a yoga mat for days I head to the studio and maybe a book or extra papers for work. I also commute on public transit, so I needed a bag that can easily carry everything and is compact enough. This bag is it. I love that it has one full around-the-bag zipper, so if you unzip it all the way down, you get full view and access to everything inside. It easily fits my running shoes, gym clothes, lunch and papers/book. It also conveniently has a yoga mat mesh holder that you can pull out from a hidden zipper at the bottom. It has also another hidden zipper in the bottom back that stores a rain cover for the bag and you have the option to detach it from the bag and use that space to store something else. The outer laptop sleeve in the back (as well as an iPad/tablet sleeve within it) rounds out the bag nicely. The back has a layer of padding that adds some comfort. The fabric and make of the bag overall is looks and feels great. With everything I put inside the bag, it still feels relatively comfortable on my back.
Some minor "bugs" and quirks about the bag:
- Wish the laptop zipper had the holes that'd allow you to lock it with a mini-lock.
- The adjustable strap part for the shoulder straps seems to slip out of place easily (for some reason, it seems to have a larger-than-usual gap where the strap threads through). This was very frustrating as it's never happened with any other backpack I've had. But I ended up threading the end through the extra gap so that it prevents it from slipping.
- The fabric for the mesh side pocket for your water bottle makes me feel like it'll stretch out prematurely and won't last as long as the rest of the bag.
For these little quirks, I would've taken a half star off if there was an option (the 2nd point with the straps was really frustrating). But I think it's a really great bag and would recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this backpack! I bought the black Cruiser and it is beautiful. Not only is it well made, it has so many zipped pockets for you to organize ALL your belongings. I am a neat freak and I am very organized and basically this bag compartmentalizes and organizes everything. It's been awhile since I've seen Lulu make a bag that was really innovative and this bag really is.
The interior of the bag is gorgeous. The lining feels nice and the red and white colours are a nice contrast to the black exterior. A nice added touch is the removable wet/dry pouch and the stowable water-resistant rain cover. Also, the zipper pulls and padded back are sturdy. This backpack is just the right size and is perfect for traveling or day to day activities.

I bought this bag for a trip to New York and walked around for 4 days with it on my back. I carried, two lululemon rain jackets, two umbrellas, and few other odds and ends along with any shopping we did each day. With the chest strap secured, not once did i feel any pain in my back. The back support is very rigid and there are a million and one pockets for anything you could imagine. It worked great as a carry on bag on the plane, fitting perfect under the seat in front. I love this bag so much i sewed a Canadian flag on it. I can't say enough good things about this bag. It is worth every penny.

Pocket Perfect Pack
The pocket for glasses (sunglasses) has felt lining so no case needed. The laptop and ipad sleeve is awesome so you don't have to open your bag and have your sweaty clothes fall out at Starbucks. The taupe color gets many compliments. Studying and working out during the day. One bag and mat is all I need. The shoulder pads are the most comfortable of any pack I've owned. Love it.

I purchased this backpack right before moving to the Caribbean for med school and it was probably the best purchase I made before leaving the States! I am a female but did not like the backpacks available in the female section and found this to be a better fit for my needs and not too masculine-looking. Very well-built and perfect for school. I love the laptop slot and the extra ipad slot, so that my two devices aren't rubbing against each other and stay secure as I'm on the move. You never know when a rainstorm is going to pass through down here and I cannot tell you the number of times the rain cover included in the backpack has saved my stuff from getting drenched! I love all the pockets on the interior to keep my stuff organized, although I do wish the two front pockets were a little bigger.

Quite an improvement!
I had the previous version of this bag and decided to purchase this one because of the new features. The new system to fix the yoga mat on the bag is really cool and so much simpler than on the old version. I like a lot the ipad pocket in the computer compartment. I am also enjoying a lot all the new pockets. It is really useful to find my things easily. The only thing I don't like is the side pockets. It is so much smaller and less convenient than before.
