Right As Rain Jacket

This fabric is lightweight and breathable with a waterproof membrane

why we made this

There's a reason they call it the "Wet Coast". We designed this seam-sealed jacket with water-resistant fabric and a big, brimmed hood to help shield us from the notorious Vancouver rain. We added deep, lined pockets to hold our essentials so we can ditch the umbrella and bag.

  • hood is big to fit your ponytail and has a brim to help shield you from the rain

Beautiful Fitting and Color! Got the fuel green and what a beautiful color! The fitting is perfect and very feminine! I love the longer length in the back and long sleeves. I have not yet put the coat to the test in a rainy day. I am 105 lbs, 5' and got a size 4 which gives me tons of room for layering as this jacket is NOT warm, definitely need to wear thick sweater underneath for cold and rainy days!! I was not planning on buying this jacket when I went to the store, but after trying it on, I fell in love, plus I got it for 40% off, I do not think it is worth it USD198. November 16, 2014
In love... Minus one flaw Like everyone else on here, the zipper is seriously straining the love I have for this jacket and the only thing stopping me from buying another. I love my Bordeaux version so much but the zipper is an ordeal every time I go to put this on or take it off (everyday). Fix this issue for the next run please!! November 6, 2014
Rain went threw Bought this jacket loved it looked nice sales person said it's designed to keep me dry rain will not go threw well all I did was get my kids off the buss in the car and back in the house and I was wet my arms under the jacket where wet and front of my top I was Shocked I mean I wasn't even standing in the rain at all and this happened . Awful zipper The jacket is great but it's useless if you can't zip it up. I spend 5 mins trying to get the zipper started and most of the time I just give up. The jacket is nice but seriously useless if it won't zip up for rainy days. November 1, 2014
I received this jacket yesterday I am very pleased with it looks amazing on, I did size up to an 8 usually wear a size 6 glad I did am able to layer under it if I want to and cinch up if not. The zipper I found to be fine I believe some issues others have had is due to the fact it is seam sealed therefore does not work quite the same as a normal zipper but find it goes up and down no problem. I would recommend this coat love the big hood no need to carry umbrella and the fact you can cinch it to where you want it. The sleeves are long but I like that as you can tuck your hands up into sleeve and also when I put my arms out they are still covered. Love this coat it was fortunate to find a size 8 online was the one and only one so guess was meant to be. I would highly recommend this coat is a good staple to have especially with our West Coast weather :) October 21, 2014
great jacket.. needs a few updates awesome jacket and color (bordeux)! This is a nice piece to have in one's closet. however the zipper is horrendous! the zipper pull is tacky and ruins the overall look of the jacket. Also, jacket is a little snug under the arm, but not a big deal. It would be nice if the jacket was fleece lined like the lulu rain jackets from the mid 2000's were~ especially for the extra warmth. Don't know why lulu got rid of the fleece lining!? All in a great jacket, just needs a few updates to make it perfect! :) October 15, 2014
Could be better I like everything about the jacket except for the zipper. The zipper is JUNK. October 13, 2014
Really like this jacket! I was skeptical about this jacket and honestly after ordering had plans to return it. It arrived today and I really like it, will NOT be returning this one! The shoulders are a little tighter, but I think that is a part of the charm..fitted on top and roomier on the bottom. I am really tall, so the length is great. I usually only buy down puffer jackets, as we live in the high Rockies, but found that I needed a thinner waterproof layering piece after I stood in the rain and watched my son play football all season. I also will enjoy this on my afternoon walks in the mid season, when a heavy coat would be too much. It is super cute with leggings and boots. I have the fuel green and the color is beautiful. Don't hesitate to buy this color. As for the zipper, it is a taped zipper, which is what you want on this type of coat. Which means that water won't leak through. Taped seaming is what all high end outdoor companies use on this sort of item. I don't see any problems when looking at it, nice brand of zipper, etc. Lulu, if I have trouble with it, will you exchange, as I am sure you would do...your customer service is great. Don't hesitate to buy this ladies! Really nice! And SOOOO functional!! October 13, 2014
Love the this coat but.... I have 2 of the previously Apres Jackets from YEARS back, and I wanted to replace it with a more weather resistant jacket. I LOVED this jacket and the colours but the fit is so strange. The length and style is great, but the shoulders and so strange. If I sized up, the shoulders were TIGHT and I was swimming everywhere else in the coat. Sadly, my dreams of having this coat is over....as it got returned. TOTAL BUMMER!!!!! October 8, 2014
Looks great but.... This jacket looks really amazing. Great fit and length. I'm usually between a 6 and 8, and went with the 8 so that I can layer in colder weather. BUT I wore it for the first time in the rain a few days ago and I really found that the water droplets accumulated on the coat, making me substantially colder than I should have been. I was quite disappointed because I really broke the bank for this one! I went inside and got my front hallway soaked because there was so much water on it. My old raincoat (not a lulu) allowed the droplets to roll off nicely which I miss. I'll be wearing this coat because of the great look, but when it's raining I'll go back to my old one.
