Right As Rain Jacket
The right as rain jacket is the real deal if you live anywhere that has really wet & cold winter weather (like here in Tassie).
The fuel green is the most beautiful colour and the coat is stylish and looks like a girls coat not a waterproof sack. I am 5'1" and this coat sits just above my knee in front and in the crease of my knees behind but doesn't look as though it dwarfs me and makes me look even shorter :) The fabric doesn't have any stretch or give to it and it is seamed at the shoulders, I'm a size 6-8 in Lulu jackets (scubas, defines etc) and I have muscular shoulders, I got an 8 in this one and it is a perfect fit with a layer underneath even a thick-ish jumper, the hood is great, not too big and keeps the rain off with no umbrella needed.
So glad I bought this one, it's practical and cute as and worth the $$ :-)

Finally got my hands on a black version! It fits superbly and looks so flattering!

Not suitable as a rain coat... surprisingly.
I waited a long time to make this purchase (over a year) and I bought this coat in August 2014 as soon as they released them again.
As a general every day wear jacket it's fine, however as a rain coat it fails miserably. I live in the "wet coast" and this jacket will certainly not serve the purpose of keeping you dry when it's pouring outside. Water soaks right through this material. It's so uncomfortable to have to keep this coat on when you're drenched and the water is seeping through.
This is just a jacket, not a raincoat.

Not for Vic!
I have this jacket, and I searched high and low for it when I first moved to Victoria in November. I thought I was the answer to my prayers! Little did I know it was not waterproof, only water-resistant. I didn't know anything about the difference, and when I saw sealed ZIPPER seams I thought I had found what I needed.
Fast forward to February--now--my jacket sucks. It doesn't keep the rain out (obviously), even after I treated it again. I know how to take care of it and it's just not holding up. It is beautiful and comfortable, and it fits me very well, which is another huge reason I wanted it (I have super long arms), but it is really not ideal for use as an everyday jacket in Victoria. The zipper is also falling apart at the bottom, making it difficult to fasten the jacket properly. Maybe I got a dud, because I have never had an issue with anything else I have from lulu! Either way, I am soggy and disappointed :(

LOVE THIS COAT
This coat is adorable. I usually am a 6 in tops but ordered a 4. The coat can be used for any occasion!! I got it in tan and am VERY HAPPY! Highly recommended.

Great city and travel rain jacket
When this jacket came out years ago, I tried it on and felt like I was drowning in it. The smallest size was just too big on my petite frame. But I decided to try again when I needed a new rain jacket for my end of summer/autumn Europe travels. My frame and size have not changed but waiting a few years for design tweaks was the ticket because this fits a smaller frame really well now with or without a Scuba Hoodie underneath and I love the Bordeaux Drama colour. Also love the length, roomy hood (I have a lot of curly hair), and the lovely lined pockets for my always cold hands. The zipper can be a bit trying to do up when in a hurry and the strip of fabric attached to the zipper flaps in my face with the wind and when running. But this is a good city jacket that travels well and has kept me dry. Worth the price with help from my R&D discount!

Love this rain jacket!
I needed a rain jacket for the fall/spring seasons that wasn't too heavy and would keep the rain out, and knew this was the one when I saw it at my local lulu. I bought it in the cranberry color and have gotten so many compliments on it. I haven't had a problem with the zipper and actually like the ribbon ! Gives you a great silhouette (I'm 5'2, approx 105lb). It's a bit pricey, but I know this will be my go-to rain gear for years to come.

Fits larger - great for layering!
I bought the jacket in fuel green and am in LOVE with the silhouette, quality, price and color. The jacket runs larger, however it's meant to be layered. I pair my Eddie Bauer Astoria Hooded Down Parka with the jacket and it aligns perfectly (on the bottom) with the Right as Rain jacket. The hood is big enough for my big ponytail.
I do not feel that the fit is "slimming," but the jacket still looks great!!!
The pockets are deep so I can stow all my belongings and not have to carry my purse around.
This is my favorite lulu purchase yet!!!

Beautiful Fitting and Color!
Got the fuel green and what a beautiful color! The fitting is perfect and very feminine! I love the longer length in the back and long sleeves. I have not yet put the coat to the test in a rainy day. I am 105 lbs, 5' and got a size 4 which gives me tons of room for layering as this jacket is NOT warm, definitely need to wear thick sweater underneath for cold and rainy days!! I was not planning on buying this jacket when I went to the store, but after trying it on, I fell in love, plus I got it for 40% off, I do not think it is worth it USD198.

In love... Minus one flaw
Like everyone else on here, the zipper is seriously straining the love I have for this jacket and the only thing stopping me from buying another. I love my Bordeaux version so much but the zipper is an ordeal every time I go to put this on or take it off (everyday). Fix this issue for the next run please!!
