Forme Jacket II *Textured
Love this Stylish Jacket!
5'7" 140lbs h37.5" w29" b36" size 8 Herringbone pattern
Love this multi purpose layering piece. This jacket fits true to size and is very stylishly cut. I love all the extra details in the cut and tailoring. When looking online I didn't like the high contrast look of the black zippers, but they don't stand out so much in person as they did in the photos. It would have looked even better if the stitching were black as well I am thinking. I love the way the herringbone translates to a more sophisticated look then just an athletic piece. Could have been a tad longer in the body, but not noticeable, just personal preference. Shown here with Frosty Run Toque Brushed

Best Splurge purchase
I have been eyeing the lulu jackets for awhile but the price always kept me at bay. I saw this one in the store and fell in love- I knew I couldn't walk out without it.
It hugs all the right places and sucks in the tummy to make you look so slim and very sleek. Not to mention I love the sleeves with the fold over mittens. I am 5'9 142 pounds and got a size 6.

I love the herringbone pattern on this Forme jacket. It's comfortable and good for running in the morning. It's also good for wearing under my ski jacket. The fabric has a different feel than the normal Forme jackets, but I don't mind. I wanted to buy another one for a friend, but it sold out quickly! I think Lulu should bring it back with more colors, too!

As you all know the forme is "define-like" since it is a fitted jacket made of technical fabric that can wick away sweat. This particular batch of prints are polyester-y and have sheen. I found the prints to fit TTS while the white herringbone to be tighter and is softer (a size up IMO). The fit of the plum ziggy-print version was the loosest and the material seemed the thinnest. The material really does make a difference. I would say that the best way to really decide on a forme jacket purchase is to go in store to compare the different materials within the same size category. I also found the shoulders to sit differently depending on the thickness of the fabric--with the thicker ones slightly pointing.
I did end up purchasing both the brisk blossom print and the baroque purple because both prints go well with basic black yoga pants/leggings. The baroque with the rose-gold zipper is actually very pretty and complements the baroque print and royal purple of zinfandel. The interior of the baroque jacket is the backside of the material which is completely zinfandel and the interior of the brisk blossom is the backside white of its material. Also, the printed formes use the same material in the underarm region--which may be circle mesh in the solid versions. I have received many compliments on both jackets.
I still miss the old defines since the forme lacks venting and the fabrics vary depending on the current fashion line. Still the forme is attractive on since it is fitted.

Cheap fabric, not textured as advertised?
I ordered this in the Brisk Bloom Black White, as it was on sale online and sounded like a good price. Maybe I'm just used to the quality of the Define Jackets from a few years back?but the quality of this jacket seems super subpar! Has Lulu had to make some serious cutbacks in quality lately? Or is it just me? This feels flimsy, rough seams on the inside, not the usual perfect stitches and finishings?kinda sloppy. And the FABRIC IS NOT TEXTURED! I thought it would be "pique" like the other reviewers said below, but this definitely is just regular plain old Luon. Lulu - can you update your description to make it accurate? And can you PLEASE bring back the amazing quality you used to have? I miss the old Lulu?something's gone downhill :(

Herringbone is awesome, zinfandel disappointing
I received this jacket in herringbone as a gift. It has immediately became my favorite. It's so soft, warm, and flattering. I did size up to an 8 because I like to layer (I'm 5'5" 117). I was so happy with this jacket that I ordered the zinfandel when it went on sale. I love the color, even the rose gold zipper, and the fit is fine. BUT THIS JACKET IS NOT TEXTURED like the herringbone is. I feel this was FALSE ADVERTISING to call this jacket textured. I am not sure I would have ordered it if I had known that it was not the same rich texture as the herringbone. And now I am stuck. At least it wasn't full price.

This jacket is flattering, warm and the herringbone is just lovely. I'm 6' tall and wondered if this piece would be too short but the length is mid-hip and perfect. I did size up because I wanted a fitted but not a tight jacket. I'll certainly be purchasing more Forme jackets in the future.

great jacket, sleeves are long though
I love this jacket. I saw it the store in a size 10, which was too big and I was disappointed they didn't have an 8, so I ordered it online. The rose gold zipper is really a unique added touch and the purple/black floral print is gorgeous. Great to go with other workout wear or just to wear around town!
I am 5'6", 130lbs and a typical size 8 lulu jacket. This is the first Forme jacket I own (not to be the last!), and the fit is superb except for the sleeves. I agree with other reviewers in that the sleeves are way too long. For me, they are about a full cuff-length too long (meaning if I fold over the cuff to the wrist seam, it fits perfectly). Because of this, I've been wearing it with the sleeves pulled up for a 3/4 sleeve look. On me it looks odd if I wear it as intended with the thumb holes in place.
Overall wonderful jacket. Very form-fitting and just the right length (slightly longer in the back for more coverage). My only complaint is the sleeve length. I wonder if lulu tailors their jackets?? If not, they should certainly think about it!

Big Fan of the Forme Jacket!
My first forme was purchased on sale in my local store and I wear it ALL THE TIME so I just had to have another and purchased the herringbone at full price.
I can't say enough good things about this jacket. It is "forme" fitting and shows off curves, but is also a very functional athletic piece. I love that it has zipper pockets to keep store the things I need to carry with me, the cuffins are great, and I really like the length and that the curved hemline that dips a bit lower in the back.
I did size up in this. I am 5' 3" 135 lbs and typically wear a 6 in Lulu, but purchased an 8 for both of my forme jackets. I didn't HAVE to size up, but I am busty and by going up a size I can comfortably still wear a layer underneath.
I wear and wash (according to instructions) my jackets frequently and have not had any quality issues.
This is a great jacket if you are looking for something different than a sweatshirt! I don't think you can go wrong in color choice either.
